Team USA lost because they were not playing team ball & team D, and unable to get used to international basketball rules. Just look at Phoenix Suns this year. Problem isn’t the players, it’s the rules. Modern NBA have stupid rules make to inflate scoring. FIBA have rules close to the 90’s/2000’s NBA. It’s hard for US players to adjust to real rules. Edit: US has the best talent, but that’s why teams with lesser talent ( no NBA players) could beat them.
