This was a great video Steve. My wife Denise and I are about to undertake the same journey as you except from Palmdale and probably to Lakeland Florida in a 55+ community and I was kind of wondering the costs involved and you answered almost all of my questions. I was starting to think about PODS and still am but I was a little suprised about the monthly storage costs at over 400 dollars. I was guessing it would be in the 200 dollar range. Thanks for the information I really appreciate the video.

By the way do you know what lounge El Al business class can get into. I have a trip on July first and need to know for my mom

This was really lovely, and I very much appreciated the guitar music in the background instead of the American music, which I normally love, as background to the Camino videos. You showed much respect for the country and its culture. I also love how you stated from the beginning that you were staying in hotels and had your luggage transported. I plan on doing this for my 65th birthday and will be doing the same thing, so it feels affirming that I don’t need to struggle through this anymore than I need to. Thank you again. Buen Camino

(Which was lovely). I am now rewatching the videos and reminiscing about all the things we saw and did a long the way. We fly out the end of the month for our first time on ElAl. Oh… our pup just turned 17. She’s 8lbs. So happy your furkid is adjusting so well. Best wishes on your next stage of your journey.

Why would you do that? CA is so much nicer than FL. In FL there's little to no geographic diversity, it's hot, humid, mosquitoes the size of blackbirds, alligators that will grab your small animals while out walking them, hurricanes...did I say hurricanes!! And Trump flags EVERYWHERE!!! A a governor that is insane! He he took on Disney because he doesn't support trans kids rights! Oh, and Florida men....have you seen what FL men are up to? They are all uneducated hicks with no respect for diversity, equity and inclusion. Oh, and the department stores have toy sections segregated by gender! Outrageous!

An inspiring story of determination beautifully presented and narrated.. may you maintain good health and continue of your Camino journeys... I did my first Camino Frances in September this year so this resonated with me perfectly...

It wasn't designed as a Time Machine.....it was designed as a rejuvenation machine to stop premature aging and allow us to live hundreds of years, not decades. He stated in biblical times there were recorded leaders who reigned for hundreds of years. It also supposedly stopped disease like cancer. You can easily decipher why they murdered him.

A 14 hour airline flight wears your ass out, regardless of how accommodating the aircraft is. I suppose a 787 makes it about as livable as it's gonna get (my last long flight was aboard a 747). Still amazed at how the jet houses enough fuel to keep it aloft for that long.(33,000 gallons, or about 215,000 pounds)

This was such a lovely video. I plan on taking this trip with my husband and was debating on whether to take the Vancouver to Banff route or Banff to Vancouver route. How did you like your route and how far was the Fairmont in Banff to downtown? Thank you for sharing this with us!
