That is a really nice fish for our area bro. Best advice I can give you is to never under any circumstances tell anyone where you are fishing. You will always have annoying people asking where is this spot at. I used to be too nice and tell people secret spots I found that no one knew about. I’m talking having entire lakes and ponds to myself with not another person in sight. I used to want to be nice and let people have the opportunity to catch some of these giants I catch. I would tell them what to throw and how to retrieve it and exactly where to throw. All I asked is that they didn’t tell anyone about these spots. Not one single person because a lot of these spots I cut all the trails myself to make access to be able to fish. Every single one of those spots have been completely ruined because people are trash. I would go back and see the people I showed with a group of people they brought and have to leave before I snapped and threw someone in the water. They leave all kinds of trash and then my one spot got over run with a bunch of illegal Mexicans swimming and throwing dirty diapers and beer bottles all over along with all their other trash. Pristine clean lakes just completely trashed and polluted by parasitic trashy people. Preserve nature and your honey hole and keep them all secret. Awesome fish and great video brother

Beautiful fish the pickerel was a real tank! Theres quite a few at BG i lost a big one that rolled over on a suspending jbait and left me gapping haha.. EHNR i want to try this year with a new fly rod The water looks clean some nice deeper holes there an ole spring fed sandpit like Menantico Sand wash pits.. thanks for sharing these gems :)

Cool video. New sub here. I fish the south Jersey area a lot and make videos too.

There’s a big snakehead or bowfin that’s in there. I usually wear my waders in the water. I would wade where the islands are that are nearby where you’d launch your kayak. Seen it 3 separate times. I haven’t seen it this year yet but I know it’s still in there.
