Luckily I've had both, a 1990 964 Carrera 4 and a 1996 Carrera 2. Both lovely cars, but I must admit to finding the 993 to be a little bit more forgiving in the corners. Mine is a later 'Varioram' model, but, having driven both, there really isn't much in it performance wise. I have to say that I do love Tony Hatter and Harm Legay's slightly 'tweaked' styling upgrades over the 964. However, they are both classic examples of the last air-cooled 911s and I love them both. The lancia delta integrale high fidelity wins my heart as im a fan of the fiat uno turbo the escort cosworth is a sick looking car.

Escort was better, but only when it was functioning. A lot of issues with Escort wrc.

Same with the escos, only big turbo models were homologation

I would pick the intergarale over the escort cosworth all day long but for pure driving experience I would pick the 2wd sapphire over them both Don't get me wrong both the escort and the lancia are gorgeous cars but the 2wd sapphire you can't touch em for pure driving

Odd enough, no speaks about suspension design of these road versions. There's one that gives you way more for the money you put into it. Definitetly, there's one superior to the other.
