I was born in Hong Kong but I grew up and live in Melbourne, and I have been a tram driver for 2 years now. Tram driving is a very interesting job and many think it’s easy to just press a few buttons, but what they don’t know is that driving the tram, meaning making it move, is just 20% of the driving. We constantly scanning for danger, looking way ahead, making sure to run on time, and so much more… I wish I could film myself driving like you do because it looks so cool. But I don’t think the company will ever give me permission for that. Anyways, well done with the videos👏🏻👏🏻

The HK tram system is interesting as it combines traditional with latest technologies such as signalling and traction… And it's iconic too! It proves that traditional transportation systems are still able to be useful and effective nowadays, with modernized technologies and equipments applied 香港电车在保留传统历史的同时也引进信号、牵引方面的新技术…也是历史和本地城市特色的一种体现了吧 传统的交通制式经过现代化的改造也是可以实现高效的运输的

what's the fast speed you driven a tram at, it seems impossible to drive really fast with how chaotic the streets are...I've always wondered about it when I used to ride on it but I never got to see the speed...

There's a sound I never imagined hearing again! A Fleetline used to be my regular ride from Pok Fu Lam into Central (CMB 3A).

It’s not in bad shape considering its age .. Didn’t realise how noisy these ( Semi Automatic ) old classics are .. seemed to cause quite a stir in the transport appreciation community in HK …Wish I had the opportunity to drive a old Semi Automatic bus …looks fun ..
