I want to learn how to play the game again. I haven’t played since 6th edition when I was in middle school but I never stopped painting. Now I have an amassed force of painted models gathering dust in boxes that I want to use but at the same time I remember back in the day how much hassle the PLAYING of the game was. There were even weeks I’d show up to try and get pickup games and nobody would be free and I’d end up sitting there not doing anything besides getting in the way of other people moving their models. I don’t know what the game is like now, but I still hesitate to pull the trigger on buying the new rule books and making an attempt to drop in for a game.

Not a 40k fan but a damn shame that the serious most likely won't embodie this at all... just wow, the sadness
