@ Thank you a ton man, really appreciate it! 🏁
Appreciate you guys stopping by! Do you agree that the Fast 102 is the best choice for the Corvette C6 or what are your thoughts on the rod mod option? FYI- you can get 20 HP out of an intake upgrade! 🙌
Agreed, when I was looking for mine, the fast 102 was definitely the best intake. Got mine on sale for under 1k. Was one of my first mods
@@SafetyRey Very nice man and absolutely! 🙌🔥
I love watching your videos I’ve really been debating which one to get but I think I’m going for the C7
Thank you a ton man! You can't go wrong with the C7 at all- best of luck man! 🙌
I did this exact same thing with my 05 c6 auto. In addition to a BTR stage 3 cam, 1 7/8 long tube headers and e85. Man what a world of difference!
@@GsStyleModsAndSpecs I bet that thing rips and sounds super good…and with the E-85 I know it smells good too 😂🙌
@Mattsboosted Indeed! I had to put 325's on the back for it to hook better! 😂

@@MecheGT You could get an LS2, throw an intake, cam, exhaust, headers with a tune and be in really nice shape!
@Mattsboosted i also want to go boosted
@ Heck yeah man! Throw a supercharger or turbo(s) on and be good to go!
Appreciate you guys stopping by! Just wanted to shoot a quick M5 video and talk about my experience. If you have an M5 or BMW let me know in the comments. 🙌
_Used to have 2013 F10 as well, only in mineral white. Yes, the most beautiful M5 design._ _It"s a monster in disguise, sometimes I wish I did not sell it._
@ Love the Mineral White M5! Very nice cars and sleepers for sure. 🙌
Perfect video I’m in the market for one I’m debating between one 2013 for 26k out of the door with taxes and everything and at 87k miles and then a 2007 with 90k miles for 17k
Definitely a dilemma. What are your long term goals with it? And what are the specs on each? Interior, transmission, etc
What headers are you buying for 700 bucks?
@@abanks2771 Just taking approximate prices. I found some for $400, found some for $1,000. So I split the difference.
I’m doing a engine swap from a c6 into a firebird and I want to daily it which one do you feel is a better option
That’s sick man. I had a buddy that did that back in the deal and it was a sleeper! What year Firebird? The LS2 is going to be cheaper. But if the funds are there I’d probably look towards an LS3.
@ it’s an 02(v6) I got from my granny who is a car enthusiast and wants a corvette one day herself
@ I’d do the LS3 and throw a Holley terminator on that bad boy if you can! An LS2 swap would be sick too though.
@@Mattsboosted that sounds really nice I’ll be looking into it
When I turn 70, I'll ride in something different, but today it has to be the Z06. Bought it last year with a Lingenfelter 660 package with a few extra goodies making it 700 HP and all NA. Beast!!
That is a beast man and sounds sick! Love the ZO6’s and hope to get one down the road.
@@Mattsboosted I kid you not, I bought an 09 with only 14K miles on it with the package already done. Bought it from VETTE CITY in Seneca SC. They advertise on the Tube and have a web-site. Barry sells a bunch of Vettes and keeps a nice inventory.
If you’re ls2 I would do heads
Definitely a good upgrade down the road if you decide to go to rectangular port with a matching intake! 🙌
LS3 heads are good just need cam and blower with ls3
For sure!
Love your videos. I have an 06 base, with 6 speed auto. Put CAI, long tubes, and a Corsa exhaust. Would like to keep it N/A, but a torque converter and the labor seem expensive. Going to a SC seems the better option, but being I drive her daily I’m worried about reliability. Any thoughts?
Thank you a ton man! The setup sounds super nice so far. If you add a supercharger and keep low boost (6-8 lbs) it’ll still be extremely reliable so no real worries there! 🙌
Staying N/A. No boost. I don't need to be that fast. I think I'm happy with where I am just need a bit more.
@@SafetyRey Totally feel you on that man! NA build can still be an absolute ton of fun! 🙌
@@Mattsboosted yeah, love mine. Bolt ons on a budget lmao
@ Heck yeah man I’ve been there! Still runs strong though I’m sure!
I went with an A&A SC installed by A&A on a stock LS-2 dyno# 528hp at the wheels. The advantage for me in California is it’s CARB legal and will pass smog inspections, also you can drive it without getting into boost and never know it’s modified.
@@robynmolle5842 Super good point regarding emissions in CA! Also, you’re exactly right. It’s very much a sleeper until you get into it. Thanks for sharing! 🙌
My concern with boost would be the stock lower end. The question would be long term reliability with stock internals. Merry Christmas!
@@RaymondMNania For sure! Long as you keep the boost in the 6-8 lb range you’ll be good to go. They can take more but that range will keep you super safe. Really strong engines and it’s all about the tune. 🙌
u can run 700 whp on an ls3 reliabiliy
im doing n/a for a while, (almost got full bolt ons)brakes, suspension, body or boost not sure right now. you also got spray for like a grand. also you can do flex fuel. happy holidays everyone
@@un4gvnplaya370 Very nice man! And absolutely, nitrous is by far the best bang for the buck mod out there. Upwards of 200+ HP depending on the kit for 1k or less. I’ll have a video about that soon! 🙌 Happy Holidays!
Appreciate you guys stopping by. Would you rather go full-bolt ons, boosted, or both? Let me know in the comments! 🙌
@@Mattsboosted cam and boosted
Gotta pay to play.
@@jeremyt7752 You’re right about that man!
Hello Matt thanks. I enjoyed your content and it was very informative. Have a safe and blessed weekend
You got it man! You too. Take care and ride safe! 🙌
It seems 10K plus for only 500 - or 550rwhp, not worth it to me...sorry. Put a blower on, injectors, Walbro fuel pump, tune etc... thousands less and more HP. I thought about doing that on my C5, me personally, if I was going to throw 5k plus, A&A Vortech or a Procharger. Still a good list of mods for sure.
Totally with you on that. Bang for the buck you’re much better boosting if you’re chasing HP’s and that’s my favorite thing to do 😂
C5 buyers look for more heritage, more classy and exotic style and looks. C6 buyers are looking for more performance, more loudness, more attention from others and it's more prone to go to the wrong hands more than the c5 (except for the fact the c5 could also go to the wrong hands as it's cheaper and cheaoer people can destroy it also). C5 and c6 buyers are way different as bith cars are hugely different between each other...even tho it's almost a restyling of the same car. So people tend to compare them but it's wrong. Both are pretty different to be compared.
I definitely get what you're saying. I think we can compare any car no matter how different, just for science and all. But I see what you mean in terms of them being for completely different buyers.
as a C5 owner i would 100% recommend NOT getting the lowest miles possible. if thats what your looking for to "Avoid possibility the car has been ran hard" then you open yourself to a whole new world of issues. these cars if they are not driven will and do go down hill fast like most other cars, the only difference is you dont have to warry about rust. what you want to find for any corvette is one that has 1 or 2 owners, has been taken care off and has at least over 60k miles that way you know based on miles it got drove at least a few times a year to maintain everything. a buddy of mine got a Z-06 with 30K miles on it and all its done is stay in the show getting issue after issue fixed related to the car not being drove, gaskets dried out, need new break lines, needs this needs that, and we got our cars a week apart in 2020, i got mine with 143K miles and its been my daily driver ever since with the exception of when its stopped working like needing new alternator etc
Really good point you bring up! Low miles doesn't just mean a great deal worth getting. I can see the value with getting something that has a little more miles, has been driven, and maybe even had a little work to it already versus a garage queen that sat for years. Thanks for sharing!
C6 LS2. A6, CALLAW HONKER, 102 TB. Fast 102 intake manifold. Z06 exhaust manifold cats, h pipe. Diablo tune. Cam and custom tune coming eventually
Very nice man! I bet that baby runs strong! 🙌
What if you wanna go just go the blower route as i think that keeps better daily driveability and reliability I've heard. How much is that and what supporting mods would you recommend MB? But i also like instant torque so would that mean i should stay NA or can a supercharger still provide that... I have a lot of questions l guess MB lol
@@teddydavid2816 Yeah if you go with a blower you won’t have to maximize on the NA power so much. With a blower you can run low boost 6-8 lbs and make 500-650 wheel pretty effortlessly. A supercharger will wind up pretty quickly honestly. They start around 6k so they are pricey. If you want to go with boost I’d save the money for the heads and put that towards the supercharger or turbo(s). You’ll also need to upgrade the fuel system and a clutch or torque converter if you add boost. Just more money overall.
@Mattsboosted ok ok sounds good I like strong durable reliable Instant power thanks MB :)
Headers can be more than $700 if you want good ones
For sure! Probably closer to 1k atleast. Tried to give approximate numbers but you’re absolutely right.
Nice video I'm trying to do that to my c6 but yea it's expensive little at a time for me I can imagine when it's done
@@brianhowell8117 Thanks man. For sure on the little over time. That’s how I did mine. Just saved for a couple years and did piece by piece.
I am a SUPER new C6 owner! I snagged one I couldn't resist and now I'm getting it roadworthy again! It's been super fun and I can't wait to share some pictures after I get it wrapped!
@@jordanhindman8907 Congrats man!! That’s super exciting. Would love to see some pics of it once it’s ready!
Thank you for posting this video I was planning on first by getting full bolt ons & cam/tune then after that might decide on some final mods I'm aiming for about 600whp and for exhaust I will be doing Corsa xtreme🎉
You got it man! I've got some mod specific videos on the way from cams, intakes, exhaust, and suspension. Stay tuned!
Just asking how much horsepower will this add the entire setup? And do you need any supporting mods
@ Anywhere between 75 and 125 with the tune. No supporting mods in terms of bottom end, extra fuel, or transmission.
Ok
@@Mattsboosted but I'm just asking is there any sort of like small horsepower Adder to get to 600 even if it includes boost?
Thanks for stopping by! Full bolt-ons on a C6 Corvette are the way to go for NA power! Drop a comment with the mods you’re running or planning for your build. 🙌
Short, but powerful video. Very clear story. Thanks!
Thanks bro, you got it! 🙌
i’m really stuck between getting either a 5th gen camaro ss with the ls3 or getting a corvette with the ls2 since they are around the same price range. any thoughts and ideas?
@@MatthewChowaniec That’s a tricky one man. In terms of performance, the LS2 Vette will be slightly faster most likely just because of the weight difference compared to the Camaro. You get the better hardware with the Camaro, but it’s a different car. The Corvette is a 2 seater of course, so definitely consider that. I wouldn’t spend more than 3k on the Camaro (over the C6) if it comes down to price.
C6 all the way love my 05 3 lt still turn heads everywhere. And got more power that im going to need 👍Good review though…
Love the C6 and thanks for the kind words! Take care 🙌

I'm going to get the C6 LS3 cuz I feel like it's just stronger and it can take more mods and I also think that the LS3 is a little bit more reliable when it comes to 600whp+ Btw you just earned a new subscriber🎉
Makes complete sense man and I don’t blame you a bit! 🙌
@@Mattsboostedis it easy to get a LS3 up to 600whp?
@@That_C6lol-b5p To get an LS3 up to 600whp you're going to need either boost (supercharger, turbo, or twin turbos) or nitrous. Max effort LS3 without boost or nitrous, you might squeeze 535 wheel with a really spicy tune.
@@Mattsboosted is the supercharger really loud?
@@That_C6lol-b5p Superchargers are going to make a little noise. I'd google Corvette C6 supercharger or supercharged and you'll find some videos to give you a better idea. The exhaust loudness will be the same pretty much, but the supercharger will create some new and more exciting noises up front!
If anyone’s in the market, I’m selling my 2012 base coupe! Silver, manual, 4LT, 71k miles.
How much

The simplest answer to anyone who doesn't know what they are looking for when trying to buy a vette is this: - DO NOT for any reason buy a 2004/2005 - Buy any year other than above that's it, literally that simple. Pick any other year and you're going to love it.
