    Could you share more about why in you process you use Tea first on the wheels prior to a clean with AWC? Is it to help dissolve tar and other road contamination? If so, do you find it effective in the spray on, dwell, rinse off scenario that you are using it in your videos?

    Nice video 👍, Debating super foam or Vorreiniger b for a pre wash, wanting to use it through out the year I am aware of these being high PH they can degrade coating but rather that and top a coating up that scratches from the contact wash. Also deciding on a contact wash I was looking at AF, As and GSF and not really sure what one to pick leaning more towards AF or As but does As foam well as I like to snow foam the car for the contact wash stage, any help would be much appreciated thank you 👍

      If you’re using SF as a pre wash I would use either GSF or As for a contact wash not AF as the higher PH is not needed if it doesn’t have time to dwell.

Fantastisk spyler med både godt trykk og vannmengde. Vi har derimot som du ser i videoen kjøpt custom pistol og div dyser, da vi liker quick connect og robuste ting!

Recently got some TEA, anxious to give it a try when it warms up some. I don't have the other foam product so I will use GS 10:1 with a splash of CARPRO Lift for some suds in my Pro 12 IK Foamer. I do love Protectorwax at the end, one of my favorite products.

    Hi, great videos. I have been watching them and reading all the comments several times. I have ordered the TEA and Vb 10L (live in Sweden) after seeing your videos. Also ordered the PW. I have the Gsf for bucket wash, the GS that I use as an APC and the PSS that I use for exterior plastic. I have a couple of questions. 1. Can I use the PSS after cleaning the engine area with GS? 2. Can I use the PSS on the grill or glossy exterior plastics. 3. Normally I use cheap tar remover that is half price compared to TEA, are there any benefits with TEA over the cheaper options Thanks.

    • @jonasrikter8280
      @jonasrikter8280 8 місяців тому

      Hello! You can use PSS on plastic trims, we use it at engine plastic and more :) I would agree that TEA is expensive, but compared to other options we have noticed that TEA is slightly more effective and use less product. But hey oil degreasers is not the product i would worry that much avout. The cheap options work great as well. A good prewash (snowfoam) with the correct ph level is way more important. Gs and carpro lift is great alternatives, but if you can get your hands on VBN you should get it!

    Did you spray your whole car with Teerwasche before adding super foam. Instead of Super Foam can you use the As which has a ph 9.0 and add some GreenStar to make it even more alkaline?

    • @RojohII
      @RojohII 11 місяців тому

      Usually one spray the lower half of the car (+ the whole rear if it's very dirty) with Tea or similar products. Normally one would try not to hit the rubber seals around the side-windows with theese products. People are mixing Gsf with Gs, so you could probably do the same with As+Gs. It's possible that Gsf foams better than As. An As+Gs combo might be a bit runny.

      @@RojohIIDo you think Tea is necessary to use in Canada? Same frozen climate but all the roads are pure concrete not asphalt like in Europe so there’s no tar that can sling on the car. Does Tea help remove salt or is it purely because of the tar? I’d imagine salt, sand & tar would be pretty hard to remove even with a strong prewash.

    • @RojohII
      @RojohII 11 місяців тому

      @@wd8005 I would probably use Tea or simaler products when roads are salted. I guess the main contamination is the oily and salty-roadfilm since the roads stays wet/don't dry for a longer period of time. My guess is that you'll want to use something that can resolve oilfilm. One other alternative could be a good citrus-based degreaser, but they tend to cost a bit more.

    • @wd8005
      @wd8005 10 місяців тому

      @@RojohII Oily Roadfilm? Pobably in Europe I guess because of the road itself, Asphalt is made of Crude Oil. Roads where I am is mostly bone dry as long as it's above freezing. Probably the only concern for oil is mostly leaks from vehicles not due to Asphalt roads like in Europe. We get some Freeze-Thaw cycle sometimes in the winter because of Chinook Winds it's warm air from the mountains it causes a sudden change in temperature which causes thawing of snow and everything in the road so it's slushy then after that it's back to freezing again. That's the only time the roads are wet. No rain here it's either Sunny & Dry or Snowing. Basically no humidity here we needs lots of moisturizers to keep our skin from drying out that's how dry it can get.

    • @RojohII
      @RojohII 10 місяців тому

      @@wd8005 I think you should evaluate the actual condition of dirt on the actual car. If it's just non-oily dirt, a good alkaline prewash will do the trick. If its oily, then a degreaser is handy since the average foams or prewashes wont do much dent in the dirt. Main point: You're gonna do a contact wash anyway to get the car squeky clean. Question is: Is the car 70, 80 or 90% clean before you start rubbing it (in)?

    Thank you for the video. I have an Audi E-tron as well and have been looking into the Koch-Chemie products for detailing my car so this video was very helpful. I have a few questions that as an E-tron owner you might be able to answer: 1. With a ceramic coating on the car, do you think using PW is necessary? Which washing agent is better for ceramic coated cars, GSF or NanoMagic shampoo? 2. Have you cleaned and used the MotorPlast under the hood of the car? Any tips if you have? 3. The E-trons as I’ve learned have a problem with building up brake dust over time, have you noticed less of this build up when using the Koch-chemie products to clean your wheels? Thank you again for the video and any advice.

    • @jonasrikter8280
      @jonasrikter8280 10 місяців тому

      Thank you for the feedback. 1. No, PW can ruin the coating, only use top coats or boosters that is made for coatings. We only use wax free soap on coated cars. This car was only coated with a paste wax. 2. We have not tried the MotorPlast yet, seen good feedback with it though. We only use GS diluted for enginebays / plastics. For plastic trims we use PSS. 3. Yes we have noticed less buildup, but the problem in general is the weight of electric cars. E-Tron is a beast at over 2,5 tons, so you need to expect brakedust buildup. This is not just a E-tron issue, all cars get brakedust. Hope this helps :) -Cofounder of Detailing Cars channel
