Vanilla Fudge at The Kent Stage: "You Keep Me Hangin' On"; the long version.
Vanilla Fudge performing "You Keep Me Hangin' On" at The Kent Stage, July 22nd, 2023. Carmine Appice fell ill at their previous show but their backup drummer, Charlie V, filled in very admirably.
The Fudge were as outstanding as ever! They've never sounded better!
I do not own the rights to this song; it is purely for enjoyment.

Draft Dodger Rag - Smothers Brothers and George Segal

From 1967, the Smothers Brothers stood virtually alone, among contemporary performers of that time, opposing the Vietnam War (Conflict, or whatever you want to call it). This was their version of a Phil Ochs' song, "Draft Dodger Rag", with guest star George Segal. I do not own this video, nor do I purport to own it.

Rocky played for 13 seasons in reality. In 1955 he had 9 at bats with Cleveland. That's not a season, it's a tryout

I am Rocky Sullivan, named in honor of the Great Rocky Colavito! I was in attendance in 1959 at Baltimore's Memorial Stadium with my parents and witnessed the 4 home run game! I emulated Rocky in my play as a kid- yes bat over shoulders, swinging a 35 inch ash bat as a 13 year old and getting a batting title in 1966! He is still my hero to this day! I have his cards, record from 1964, and many versions of his little league bats! I always wanted to meet him just once, my whole life but hate to bother him. Rocky Sullivan of Rocky's Run, West Virginia. Yes, my little mountain home is named Rocky's Run after the Great Rock! Yes, like Pete, Rocky should be in the Hall of Fame!

as a kid ( 15 years old ) I attended a Friday night game at Briggs stadium in Detroit ( 1961 ) Tigers vs. Twins ) Rocky blasted a line drive shot off the left field facade. It missed by a foot from clearing the roof. I still remember how it sounded off his bat, like a high powered rifle blast.

I was excited when the tigers got Rocky, he and Al Kaline were my favorite tigers. I seen Rocky play many times and what a ARM! I believe it was 1968 Rocky was with the yanks and he was brought in as a pitcher and saved the 1st game and they brought him in again in the 9th and he saved the 2nd game. I really thought he was in the hall. Yes he really deserves to be in the hall. I seen many great players in my day and Rocky is one of them! People should by his book "Don't knock the Rock"

Hey , Harold Baines , Tommy McCarthy , Rabbit Maranville , Scott Rolen , Todd Helton are in the hall of fame , and Rocky being a better ballplayer than all of them , he should be in too .

@@bessied.5694 -- He was more of a musician than someone who never even attempted to play an instrument. Being able to play chords quickly and cleanly while singing is a skill in itself.
