Where is the train derailment?
Great catches
Nice catches!
Amazing catches! Love VCFD & VSCO
The one in Lake Sherwood. Did you go onscene?
I have friends that live in Sherwood, but I didn't feel comfortable going into the gates. Watched it from station 33.
I love that AmericanLaFrance it's nice to see them still here. San Ramon Valley Fire still has 3 AmericanLaFranceTillers existing to this day. 1 in full service, 1 as reserve.
Nice
Promo*SM 💔

that 144 looks - that 144 sounds; beautiful chief
Does anyone know what siren this is, at 0:32 ? Very interesting
Did cali get rid of steady burn? A lot of videos lately seems to be missing the steady burns
When Sheriff Mobile Command misses turn to Incident Command Post😂😂😂😂
great videos! Train accidents can be quite challeging for emergency services. Some years ago I headed to a train accident and so far it was the only emergency where I saw ALL kinds of emergency services on scene
That must be quite a rare shot then I suppose
great to see that everyone pulls over to the side for the emergency vehicles to get past
Thrilling watching a bunch of emergency vehicles.
No steady burn red on the bus?
Born and raised in VC! So proud of my FFEMS people! Got my initial EMT certification in SV.
Great catch!!
Nice catches! When was this?
Around 5 months ago! and thank you!
Those Whelen C series lights on that bus are terrible
How bad wss that derailment? 😶
What happened??!
Train VS Truck. Idk who won though.
oh @@maxtamburro3421
This is the accident where Amtrak 300 ‘s front got smushed
Vice city police departement
0:17 thats one of those old flat nose School Bus models
lucky that nobody was atleast seriously injured, but you would think that yknow, if you are seeing Emergency Vehicles and hearing their sirens en masse you wouldnt pull back out into the street?
If I remember correctly the unmarked Sedan is the Chief's. Then the white, LA County truck is possibly aid/an assistant unit? All in all awesome catch. Was the Public Safety unit part of MRCA?
Very cool catches!
Awesome catch!
at least they had more then adequate EMS to arrive!!
So is Ventura County running RA's now? Do they still use a private ambulance for transports?
Yes they still use AMR for transports. VCFD has 4 RA's in service, and one in reserve. RA's in service: RA30, RA41, RA 50, RA26 RA in reserve: RA52 They replaced the medic squads, but a few people have seen squads without any numbering on them driving around the county.
Maybe I am looking at this all wrong, but, it seems like you all are more interested in the thrill of getting there than helping once you DO get there. That is the way this video makes it look.... If I am wrong, I apologies deeply from my heart. There is no one I love and respect more than a first responder !
im not a first responder im 13
Videos like this want to show the units used by the different agencies, especially the rarely seen ones. It's not about the incidents. For the "not helping" aspect (besides his age): These are mostly second row responders that normally arrive after the local first due personnel of FD, EMS and Police. You can be sure there were lots of better trained and equipped helpers on scene by then.
Moorpark is small town. They have two fire stations within 5 minutes. Of this location. They're pretty well equipped and run drills very often. In an event like this. It's better to just stay put and be a good witness than get involved. Because if you don't have the proper training AND equipment you could end up being another casualty. Plus the fact that there's not much a single person can do for a train derailment. You have make sure it's safe before you end up getting hurt. Cause than it just adds to the situation. It was also a pretty minor incident. All things considered. No deaths or serious injuries. No worse than a car accident it just happened to be a lot of people and an entire train. (Sorry. I just have a lot of free time to learn about random things. This just happens to be a subject I'm well versed on. Mass casualties, anything about trains, and anything about first responders 😅) here to simply to educate not push negativity 🙏
