Honestly, bugs are easy at first, but harder later because they all get tankier and are in larger numbers but from what I've seen, bot numbers stay relatively the same, except they just get some extra armor and aren't that hard once you get used to them

I spent my first week playing trivial and easy missions solo, thinking to myself. "Why is this so hard, even in level 1 and 2!?" Helldivers 2 doesn't do difficulty like many other games. I have completed difficulty 9 and casually play on 7 now days, 1 month later.

I played solo a lot, not because I don't have a mic, but because I didn't like dealing with bad teammates. I don't play solo as much anymore and usually just join a public lobby, finish the main objectives and side objectives, and then help the other players with the heavy encampments.

I'm a machine only, sniper only, jetpack high ground positioning hero. And I always land my shots.

So i think i'm a god tier/j since i'm scared of dogs and run items back and forth XD we use inverse teleporter a lot and if my team mates get in and it's safe (open doors, not too many turrets or mines) then i run to the main and collect everything that's nearby first and then assist from the ship

As I commented last video there is the Loot Goblin, which is like the sub species of lone wolf. Trying to collect as many samples as possible

I’d like to add one “The completionest” or “loot goblin”. These players have their own agenda, to complete all side objectives and collect all samples. They rarely work with their team unless it’s extraction or they’re in the area, but most of the time they’re 400 metres away, destroying outposts or collecting samples.

The Coward: Runs away whenever a fight happens, nice to have sometimes coz it guarantees someone should be alive to at least try return with loot. Of course can be bad when they bail on you when a monster comes up

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had “the guy in the chair” just do nothing. Not too long ago, I was suffocating and when I was spectating, he’d just been watching

I've played a bit solo(stopped when they fucked up the spawn rates), and i basically just do it cause it's fun. In a way, it's peaceful. I get to be alone with my thoughts, I don't have to think about playing around or with other players, I get to go at my own speed, whether i play helldive or trivial. There's a serenity to just facing an intense challenge by myself.

Stealth when done right is lowkey one of the best strats for tackling helldive difficulty. granted, it has to be done right. without practice or if you get sloppy, it can very easily devolve into a standard gunfight. another note; stealth is a lot better against bots cause bugs can sniff you out if you're close. bots will have no idea unless you make noise. You can literally stealth into a jammer base, turn it off and 500kg it before the bots even know you're there. (scout armor + jump pack does help with this)

Tip if ya wanna play with randoms host a crew yourself bc they can't kick ya

What about heavy support? That's what I call my preferred role. Usually in heavy armour with explosion damage reduction and recoil reduction, heavy weapons depending on squad - if no one carries heavy weapons - quasar and EAT (yes, both - you can shoot 2 EATs after shooting quasar, just in the time to pick up the quasar that's just cooled down giving you 4 ability to chain 4 charger or 2 bile titans kills in very short time). If someone picks rocket launchers or autocannon, I'd get a second copy of that to be able to both do my own job, and when needed team reload them. I usually stay slightly behind or to the side of the squad to be able to kill off heavies that got aggro'd on the team, or if someone's in trouble to use my primary to get those hunters and stalkers off their backs... Also, as heavy armour with explo resistance user - please, do drop me in onto a heavy - that way I can kill it with my pod before I retrieve my weapons, I often can also survive both the chaff around the heavy and fellow divers airstrikes...

The type of player I am is a mix of Speed Runner and Lone Wolf. I try and get the objective done as fast as possible (Usually solo cause then I don't have as much attention on me from enemies), then after that's done I go to the rest of my squad to back them up with side objectives

3:10 I'm that guy that goes off solo and does half the map. I LIVE for those moments when my team is about to get shot at by a tank turret, and I pop it from accross the map before they even knew it was aiming at them.

I bring long ranged weapons within 5 meters of a hull 😅

The only equipment me and my freinds by is pro flashlight, stun grenade, shovels, sometimes a jet pack if it’s on sale

Im definitely the Roleplayer. Me and my buddies will be making callouts and such, covering each others ass and other stuff which just brings the game game to a whole nother level of fun and immersion

If a noob came in and knew how to use the orbital laser, I would put them above S tier. Orbital laser is on top.
