Wish post-apocalyptic warfare get explored even more. It's cool seeing what kind of improvised weapons and vehicles people will make. Places like Florida alone can have alot of crazy stuff happening. I can't imagine just how insane it would be in the post-apocalypse. Also I enjoyed watching Mad max and fallout so my interest in them led me here. Cool video btw 👍

Just Wow, this is what I've been saying all along, and you have confirmed with content data, it is inevitable, Season 2 onward is bound to tank because that one scene that is really the pivotal point that is going to take many fans by storm, though most that either played the game or seen, heard, or read leaks by then still the simple fact and hard reality is going to hit just as it did with Negan in the Walking Dead. And to put salt in the wound just as they did with Negan by keeping him alive, even having him be apart of the group will likewise do within the Second Season (or third, whenever they decide to put that scene) of the Last Of Us. The only thing that may save ratings would be Ellie and that's looking for the Light in the inevitable Darkness that will likely happen, I sure hope I'm wrong...

The point of taking the game to another medium is to display it in a more narative based perspective, not to randomaly add action sequenses that do not amplify or inrich the world of the last of us. I'm not attached to ellie nor joel but what I'm in love with is the world itself. The bill and frank episode captured the essence of the last of us showing us that loving someone and opeing your hurt to that someone does have consequences. ( And we might see that in the up coming season )

I don't think The Walking Deads issue was killing characters, it was the insane amount of filler. I felt that episode where they killed Glenn and Ab was amazing, but it lost momentum after that.. For The Last of Us, they're going to need to get amazing actors for Abby and Owen. Joel has to die for the story to continue.. If not there's no story. But look at the people hating on the show right now, they're the same loud minority who hate Part 2.. I think season 2 will be fine, and HBO already knew that they would be killing him off, it would of been explained in their pitch.

The reason why I liked the Walking Dead and Resident Evil (which came out before Fall Out :P), is because it's more "apocalyptic" rather than "post." I love seeing the world actively fall apart. And, similar to what you covered near the end of the video, it also ties into my love for disaster films, because it's about people coming together to try and fight back against their end. It's always an exciting watch! Great video. I rarely subscribe to anyone, but you got my subscribe. I hope you go far :)

Stumbled upon this video and I this really brought back memories. Pirate101 was and is such an amazing game that I'll never forget, and its something I can't resist coming back to every couple years. To see that even after a decade there's still a community who loves and cares for the game, patiently waiting for Kingsisle's next moves, really brings me joy. Pirate101 is a game I grew up on, and it's the reason I got into game development, ever since I tried recreating some of the map many years ago on Roblox. Thank you for making this video essay, and I can't wait to see what's next for the game. Awesome video, Red.

They're not remaking it for "second" time. Last time was remastered. "Remaster" is just a bit graphical update. "Remake" is rebuilding the game from groundup

idk what this has to do with midpack days gone. Sony was right to never greenlight a 2nd one because the game's director is an asshole and the game itself is so mid. If you want PlayStation exclusives to keep being as reliable as they are (TLOU2, Ghost of Tsushima, God of War) then Sony has to pull the plug on the only huge recent exclusive to have gotten such mixed reviews and push for something better. Their model works The first remake of TLOU was really just a port. They moved a light source or 2 probably but it got made because PS3 games don't work on PS4 or PS5 due to hardware architecture. If you look at it like that (the correct way) then this is the first REAL rerelease of the game ever and it's crazy looking and done with a lot of care. It's not like they put new textures in the game and called it a day. It's on a new engine with new assets and all the facial animations are redone using new technology and the original mocap studio performance videos. $70 is steep I can't deny that but in terms of the game itself and how new it is it's literally brand new besides the story, which is so good and still gaps almost every other story in games that it doesn't really matter, especially for first time players. Call it a cash grab or whatever but Sony literally cannot grab cash out of your pockets. If consumers buy it then they want it. I hate this common theme of people saying "companies are grabbing the consumers money" it's literally not true and if the games didn't sell the companies wouldn't make them. Gamers don't take responsivity for literally running the entire market and they also have a low quality standard anyways I clicked on this video on TLOU reddit and decided to watch it because I'm so bored and I'm just passing time until the remake comes out in 60 days LOL shoutout to buying games at Walmart
