I would rather make 10 trips with a cargo mule and be successful, than start one trip with a caravan and loose everything. When cargo mules arrive in-game, caravans will become rare.

You didn't do any science on distance traveled for money gained? IE is it distance from each node? Or someone has said today just touching a different node adds distance so they were going in a big circle hitting as many nodes as they could before they turned in.

This game *WILL HAVE* plenty to offer casual players. Currently, in Alpha 2's Phase 1, you as a casual player will get nothing and you will be happy.

PvPing (PK) is too punishable to be worth it because of the corruption system. If someone attack you and kill you without fighting back, they will become corrupted (red), you as non-combatant will only lose some materials. Corrupted's stats gets lowered with a significant % and lose gear/items when they die. If you fight back you both will be "combatants" (purple) and if you die you will only lose materials.

I can't see much of a casual audience. The biggest problem is 10,000% the always-on pvp. I don't see this ending well, and IMO, it will ruin the game in the long run. No new players will join the game, and all the hardcore Andys will run it and watch its population die when nobody wants to play against them.

I don't think I'll play this game, there is way too much emphasis on the leveling process, and it seems painfully brutal to level. Plus I have not seen any instanced content yet.

We created a guild for casuals on Shol (The Laid Backpackers). It has been going on great :) Casuals unite!

I'm lvl 15 Cleric played the game solo.. You can play casual solo. Just don't expect to much from the game until it is finished. Right now it is all about the testing. So lots of bugs, crashes server down times and of course the player wipes.

There's going to be so many niches in the crafting market that it'll be very useful to have players specialize in those less popular trades, and thus making great coin opportunities

I just dont like the mage the ways its designed. The distance AOE skills are either really slow or really small. The frost falls kill looks cool, but you have to be close and moving slow. either it should grant temp immunity or be a ground dot that slows targets in it.

how can we play without waiting for 2025?

As a rogue/cleric main.... i say I'm daunted with mages after watching this

Casual players WILL have a place, nodes need xp, and every bit helps. Just wandering around and gathering things to sell will be great. casuals are needed.
