When individuals compare Jokic to others, they often do so in a one-on-one context. However, Jokic operates within a team dynamic, playing in a five-on-five format. He utilizes his teammates in a manner reminiscent of the best point guards, while also integrating his individual scoring skills into a unique approach, resembling a hybrid player that is unprecedented in the sport. This is where misunderstandings arise in comparisons involving Jokic. While it is possible that Hakeem may excel in a one-on-one scenario, basketball is fundamentally a team sport that relies on collaboration to achieve victory. Over the past 30 years, no player has demonstrated a greater ability to elevate and engage teammates than Jokic. As LeBron James noted in an interview, there are exceptional one-on-one players, but true excellence in basketball also requires intelligence and a high basketball IQ, especially in critical moments when facing double teams. With Jokic on the court, constant awareness is essential. Whether he is driving the ball or positioned at the three-point line, he presents a scoring threat from all areas of the floor, distinguishing him from traditional centers who typically focus their efforts in the post.

    • @ACTS-1631

Hakeem is better but he would NOT destroy Joker...the difference is much smaller that you think...plus Joker have 7-8 years to prove im right...

@Apple_Teck you don’t think he can become one of the players to be on the next list? Plus, it’s players that’s not on the 75th anniversary list that should be on there

@Apple_Teck I definitely think Jokic will be there soon because of the work and his accolades. He will most definitely get another ring before his time is up in the league

    Is this a REAL question?

Hakeem has a complete package. A two way player. Plus he is a true Superstar. I mean Jokic is great too, but only because the NBA today is very soft and not competitive, No defense. While, Olajuwon is a lock down defender. I would like to see this match on NBA 2K, I'm sure this going to be an easy win for Hakeem.

1 vs. 1, how many points you think Hakeem can beat Jokic by?

@@mentalmindedbasketball7613 I think Jokic would have a very hard time scoring on Hakeem. The Dream wins by 15+ PTS. I have other Superstars in mind. KG, Giannis, Amare, J Oneal, C Webb, TD and Yao Ming. I'm sure this list vs Jokic would be amazing to see.

@@mentalmindedbasketball7613 Hakeem cooking jokic 1v1. Hakeem can pass also he was just in a score first role, assist aren’t the only way of telling if someone is a good passer. Hakeem was playing in the 90s with less spacing which makes it harder to get a triple double. Hakeem has a quadruple double, and jokic doesn’t. Plus he was playing in the prime big man era against Shaq, Robinson, Ewing, and Malone. He also had Jordan getting in the way of his MVPs. MJ himself said that he was the biggest threat to his success.
