Another fun place to go in KC is the West Bottoms on the first Friday/Saturday of the month- lots of street performers, vendors, stores, and perhaps the best of them, a piano shop with 100+ pianos including players, organs, nickelodeons, and more!
Miñjeys pizza
KCRF has become the JOKE of ren fest's in the midwest . Substandard entertainment . Just a TOTAL WRECK of what it once was .
I love that also when fellow americans help others cities and places in their way even if its just tourist dollars, because,......america! When high speed rail is put in well no longer think of respective areas in terms of all the distance Ever get how photos and videos in what arent specific places and you can tell what city or town their in?
I used to like just across the street from City Market. I really miss the vibe of that area. Thank you for such a great video! ❤️
Well Done!!!
Iove the way the introduction was made, which is concise and clear to foreigners. And background music is matched to the scenery。
union station isnt free if your parking, and you have to use a credit card
I painted the sign on the arabia museam at the sandpiper sign co in liberty. My first paid work.
Wonderful channel. I’ll be watching for more videos. @dashingwomble
Weekdays is only time we go. The cofee shop is nice. Black coffee fully leaded.
Weekdays are the best days for managing traffic for sure! But we can’t pass up the deals on produce during the weekends.
Excellent videography and editing. I've subscribed.
We appreciate your support! Let us know what else in Kansas City you would like to see ☺️
I’ll never come, I don’t like crowds and I don’t celebrate Easter.
Really, what time did you go, 6am ? There's a million cars driving around and every lot is full. Finding a place to park is a challenge. Taking the street car is your best bet.
Great question! During the week the city market traffic is not that bad. Weekends, however, can be a madhouse😳That’s why, as we said in our video, we prefer taking the Streetcar. But on days we want to go to the farmers market and really don’t have the time, we’ve found that the traffic thins out around 1:30-2:00pm. It’s perfect because the stalls are still open and you don’t have to contend with all the craziness.
Awesome thank you for your video
Nice job guys! Way to promote KC!!!
Nice vid folks. Keep 'em coming!
The best Uber driver ive met
This adventure was amazing and what made the experience better was being with family!
And we love adventuring with our family. Love ya Skyler!
Looks so delicious
Badger Blades, usually just to the left of the entry. I spent HOURS talking about smithing with them if that's your thing. Not joking, HOURS. "What makes a long sword a great sword?" for example. For the curious, an arming sword was one handed. a long sword could be one or two handed (what is commonly called a bastard sword). So at what point is a long sword a great sword?
Badger Blades and Dwarf Mountain Knives are two amazing bladesmiths! Rob is looking forward to owning one of their blades for the studio. To answer your question, a long sword is wearable, like a traditional hand-and a-half, a great sword is one that is two dang big to wear comfortably or drawn easily (like a zweihander or claymore) and must be carried around. If you want to learn more about longswords check out our friends Sellsword Arts here on UA-cam! youtube.com/@SellswordArts

Three free things to do in KCMO. Feel free to get mugged. Feel free to get shot. Feel free to get your vehicle stolen.
My car was broken into when I lived at 135th and Metcalf in Overland Park. Crime is everywhere
❤loved it
Nice subbed 👍
Thanks for the sub!
Downtown streets are so empty
Sometimes it is. But that makes it perfect for exploring without bumping into another tourist every 5 seconds. Plus, with the many huge events coming up in the next few years, the streets will soon be bustling! We’re super 😊
@@kcandbeyond He's a troll.... ignore him.
@@MustHaveWine how am I a troll you seem bothered by the truth
Kcmo isn’t the economic center of the region with all the white flight and urban decay in KCMO. Johnson county Kansas has the highest gdp and most wealth and highest density.
Glad I don’t see the world (and especially KC) like you do. Only reason I’m responding is because I don’t think your comment should live without somebody pointing out how sad that mentality is.
@@BradRossJr I mean it’s true
@@BradRossJr statistics history and data analysis along with office space square footage would prove you wrong actually
@@iknowdeweybrudda6564actually, downtown KCMO provides so much value it still to this day continues to support the suburban living you continue to think is rich. It’s a very sad history what’s happened in kc, and if you don’t know the history of red lining a district, then I’d recommend you start there. The downtown library may even still have their maps up on the 5th floor showing where houses & business would be able to get financing and what color of skin they needed to get it. With that attitude though, I doubt you’d ever even step foot into one of if not still ranked “the best public library in America.” Funny it’s not in CansAss
Here’s a nice video from not just bikes explaining why you’re wrong ua-cam.com/video/7Nw6qyyrTeI/v-deo.html
Coming up to KCMO this weekend from Pensacola,FL. Daughters wedding. We've never bother to ride the street car, this trip we will. Thanks for the video.
We’ll have more fun videos coming, be sure to subscribe to stay updated for more places to visit on your next adventure out here!
I love the streetcar! So had so many interesting stories from it. Some good, some bad, but if I’m bored and want free entertainment, the streetcar is a great choice 😂
Kcmo is mostly detached single family homes and suburban sprawl with low density; more so than Overland Park and Lenexa. And over 50% of the metro areas office space is in Johnson county Kansas. Johnson county Kansas is the most densely populated and wealthiest county with over 613,000 people. Johnson county’s median household income is 96,059$ and kcmos is a saddening 60,042$. Theres more people living within 5 miles of downtown Overland Park than within 5 miles of downtown kcmo. Johnson county Kansas GDP is higher than Jackson County Missouri. There has been decades of white flight and urban decay from Kansas City Missouri. kcmo has a terrible crime problem.
@@iknowdeweybrudda6564 You again? Nobody cares.
@@MustHaveWine someone sounds jelous and butthurt
Oh, I do miss the KC Ren Fest. Been many a year since I trod those hallowed grounds.
There’s always next year! 😉

Glad you enjoyed it!
This was wonderfully put together and very entertaining. Found some stuff even I didn’t know was there this year - thank you so much!
Thank you! We're so glad you enjoyed it! We're also super happy we were able to make it to the Flint Hills Fairies show, despite the busy schedule. You guys were fantastic!
This is Great! Brought a small tear to my eye. Really missing my friends out there. Thanks!
Thanks! Come back out when you can! You'll be super welcome!
Thank you!

Fantastic! I love it.
We're so glad you like it! Thank you!
Thanks for the video. We’re coming to KC in 2 weeks.
That’s awesome, welcome to Kansas City! More videos on the way 😍😍
man what a great video! This is as professionally done as it gets. But there are 2 must see KC Landmarks that you can't see from the Liberty Memorial - the Plaza and the Nelson-Atkins Museum 😁
You are so right! That’s why we’re working hard on entire series focused on the coolest spots in Kansas City, and the Nelson-Atkins is totally on the list! Thank you so much for your support!
I’ve walked the plaza when bored before. It is free to do as well AND the Nelson Art museum is also free. Also, at night you can see the plaza/art museum from Liberty memorial, as the beam of light coming out of the church from the Plaza area there can be seen on a clear night.
Love yalls channel! Remind me of the Renaissance fair I went to in DFW.
Thank you! Come this fall, we’ll be returning for opening weekend of KC Ren Fest!
Great Work! So looking forward to your time at Faire! I'm going to need those memories!
Thank you so much Craig! We’re actually going to be filming an episode on opening weekend of KCRF! Anything in particular you want to see?
@@kcandbeyond Just my friends from all the stage shows! and of course, my Fae Friends!
Omg Donny would have an absolute blast. Where is this ??!
This is Manitou Springs, CO, just outside of Colorado Springs! We highly recommend you guys visit. Between the beautiful natural landscape, the small-town feel, and all the awesome tourist destinations, Manitou Springs is pretty epic! 😍😍
Definitely a must
nice street scenes why didn't you hop on the streetcar?
Honestly, we wimped out 😟. We weren’t prepared to shoot in the torrential downpour that was raging at the time. Good news though! We plan on riding the KC Streetcar in future episodes.
Looks like fun! Great production quality! We had our first high tea experience at Buchart Gardens in Canada a few years ago. I look forward to more adventures and hope you'll check out some of ours as well. 🤠
Thanks for leaving a comment Corn Fed Life! This was our first High Tea experience, and we can’t wait to do it again! Stay tuned, we have a lot more adventures planned in the coming months.
Glad to hear that you enjoyed the shows.
My favorite video so far!
Thank you! We especially loved this adventure! Stay tuned next Monday for our Anniversary Special! 😍😍
Cant wait to see!
We’re so happy to hear that! The first of this 7 part series will be live soon!
Looks like an absolute awesome time. I have never been to one.. Love you both, and hope to come up that way before to long.
It was an awesome time! We really didn't expect any less from the folks at KC Ren Fest 😊 Be sure to let us know when you're in town!
