मुझसे गलत बात बर्दाश्त नहीं होती - Cannot Tolerate Injustice or Unfairness
मुझसे गलत बात बर्दाश्त नहीं होती - Cannot Tolerate Injustice or Unfairness
Intolerance, in any form, can be detrimental to both the individual and society at large. When this intolerance is directed toward everyday annoyances-small, often unavoidable behaviours that people encounter in their daily lives-the consequences can be particularly harmful. Extreme intolerance toward such behaviours not only increases personal stress but also leads to social isolation, creating a vicious cycle that is difficult to escape.
The Nature of Annoying Behaviours
Annoying behaviours are a part of daily life. Whether it’s someone talking loudly on the phone in public, a co-worker habitually being late, or a neighbour playing loud music, these actions can irritate others. However, the perception of what is annoying varies from person to person, often influenced by individual tolerance levels, past experiences, and cultural norms. While some people can brush off these irritations, others may find them deeply disturbing, leading to heightened sensitivity.
The Cycle of Intolerance and Stress
When individuals allow minor irritations to significantly affect their mood, they often experience increased stress. Stress is a natural response to perceived threats, but when the trigger is something as minor as an annoying behaviour, this stress can become chronic and unmanageable. This heightened state of stress not only affects mental and emotional well-being but can also lead to physical health problems such as headaches, high blood pressure, and weakened immunity.
Social Isolation as a Consequence
As intolerance toward annoying behaviours grows, individuals may begin to withdraw from social situations to avoid potential irritants. This withdrawal can lead to loneliness and social isolation.
The Broader Social Impact
On a larger scale, extreme intolerance toward annoying behaviours can erode social cohesion. Communities thrive on tolerance, understanding, and compromise. When individuals are unwilling or unable to tolerate minor inconveniences, it becomes difficult to maintain a sense of community. This intolerance can lead to an increase in conflicts, a breakdown of social networks, and a general sense of unease within the community.
Breaking the Cycle
Breaking the cycle of intolerance, stress, and isolation requires a conscious effort to cultivate patience, empathy, and perspective. Developing coping mechanisms, such as mindfulness or cognitive behavioural strategies, can help individuals manage their reactions to annoying behaviours more effectively. By focusing on the positives in social interactions rather than fixating on annoyances, individuals can reduce their stress and improve their overall well-being.

Excessive reliance on external validation can significantly undermine our self-esteem. These personality disorders are believed to stem from a combination of genetic factors, childhood trauma, and other habits. The role of gut bacteria, specifically in the BioMicrobiota, also influences human behaviour. In animal experiments, rats that received gut contents from individuals with depression displayed behaviours reminiscent of depression.

Several Types of meditation suggestions: Sakshi and Dhyana, Dhyanabindu (one-pointed), naam simran (meditating on the name of God), and other Bhakti practices. The concepts of the observer self (sakshi) and attention (dhyana) are Central to mindfulness-based therapy. The principles of shama - tranquility and equanimity; dama - the ability to control the senses and maintain non-reactivity; uparati - renouncing what does not align with dharma (virtuous duty); titiksha - practicing forbearance and persevering through suffering; shraddha - cultivating trust and faith in the path of virtue; and samadhi - achieving total concentration and the highest state of contemplation, are integral to mindfulness. Mumukshutva signifies an intense yearning for self-realization. Both abhyaasa (practice) and sadhana (disciplined effort) are indispensable for an individual to attain samadhi, the pinnacle of meditative states.

The relationship between physical and mental health is bidirectional. Throughout our lives, we inevitably confront various degrees of mental health challenges. Prioritizing practices for good mental hygiene is vital for maintaining overall well-being. Adopting a proactive approach to seeking help, rather than hesitating, plays a pivotal role in promoting and preserving mental health. Some good mental health practices could include maintaining good physical posture, practicing proper breathing techniques, and ensuring adequate sleep. Additionally, cultivating an attitude of acceptance and non-reactivity towards momentary experiences is essential. Encouraging a non-judgmental stance, embracing both pleasant and distressing experiences with gentle and patient curiosity in the face of challenging situations, and addressing mental distress with kindness and compassion can significantly contribute to overall mental wellness.

The situations we face are shaped by the assumptions we hold and the choices we make. These decisions are intricately woven with our conditioning and emotions, introducing layers of complexity to the outcomes. Nevertheless, through the practice of mindfulness and the development of awareness, we acquire the ability to navigate these influences with greater consciousness. This fosters a profound understanding of our choices, allowing us to steer towards more intentional and positive outcomes. Approaching situations with an open mind, humility, respect, and honesty further enriches this process.

"Religion and spirituality share many similarities, yet it's crucial to distinguish and understand the connections between these two concepts. Some individuals believe that religion and culture play integral roles in fostering unity. Religions generally include spirituality as one of their goals, influenced by various factors such as location, time, and societal needs. Adaptive and evolving religions tend to stay relevant by adjusting to changing requirements. They typically revolve around structured systems of beliefs, rituals, and practices centered on deities. These religious practices are often associated with established institutions like churches, mosques, or temples, fostering a social and communal dimension. On the other hand, spirituality involves the development of our abilities and perceptions to uncover deeper meanings and messages beyond our ordinary senses. Individuals seek spirituality for inner peace, fulfillment, and a profound understanding of life and existence. This pursuit can take various forms-religious, secular, or entirely personal-showcasing the diverse ways people connect with the profound aspects of existence."

The ego is a self-image created by the mind and influenced by conditioning. A life driven by the inflamed ego is characterized by a constant cycle of desires and fears. The ego's response is to control its environment to protect itself. Blaming others serves as a comforting and habitual relief mechanism. If we persist in the unconscious state of feeding the super ego, suffering endures until we attain awareness. Ultimately, suffering leads to the dissolution of the super ego. We should avoid using the guise of self-respect as a means to indulge our super ego.

The experience in space was so powerful that when I got back to Earth I started digging into various literatures to try to understand what had happened. I found nothing in science literature but eventually discovered it in the Sanskrit of ancient India. Anger is a natural, adaptive response to threats and an emotional manifestation of fear. It is a natural human fight or flight response to perceived risk or loss or unexpected outcome. Anger becomes counter productive and even harmful when it exists either for a long time or too frequently or when it shouldn't even arise in the first place. Best way to overcome the habit of excessive Anger or harmful Anger to become Aware . As soon as we become aware Anger will automatically dissolve.

Therapeutic Hunger: Necessary for good health I want to coin this term “Therapeutic Hunger” (TH), to differentiate it from the hunger that is associated with problem issues like famine, poverty and eating disorders. “Therapeutic Hunger” (TH) is residual hunger that is still left when we don’t eat stomach full. When we finish meals, and have eaten just the right quantity of food, that we don’t feel full. This sweet hunger is very therapeutic, as it helps optimise digestion, proper absorption of nutrients, and enough space for elimination of waste. TH is a signal for body organs to more efficiently. Our body parts have evolved to work in such a way, so as to conserve energy. They will not perform any unnecessary work. So when there is plenty of food supply, they don’t need to extract nutrients most efficiently or digest fully. Also abdomen is like a food processor, when filled over the limit it can’t process food very well. It needs space to digest the food. Thus if we make it a habit to always eat just the amount of food, so as to leave some “Therapeutic Hunger” (TH). It will improve health by controlling weight, digesting food, absorbing nutrients. It seems hard in the beginning, but later it feels good like sweet hunger. That remaining hunger is a very good feeling, and one can enjoy various tastes of the foods, digestion and good health. Now a days, when we are used to eating on fixed time and fixed amounts. We have time for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The serving sizes are also more or less fixed, as suggested by food recipes. Even the most weight loss programs suggest the size of meals. Instead of habit of eating at fixed times, and fixed quantities, we should build or senses to eat when we are hungry and the right amount for individual need. Dependence on stimulating agents like coffee, team, alcohol, tobacco etc. also doesn’t help. These substances mask our senses and we slowly lose control. Always leave some space for food to process, and digest. No over eating. Enhance your senses, move from habitual Mindless eating to Mindful eating. Food is just one channel of life force, there are others. Don’t ignore other forces that sustain life - breathing, sun, and other cosmic energies. When you eat less, body will automatically draw more from other life forces.

Simple, Sensible, & Stress Free Healthy Weight Management Therapeutic Hunger: Cracking the Code for Enjoying a Healthy Life and a Healthy Weight “Therapeutic Hunger” (TH) is the residual hunger that is left when we don’t eat until our stomach is completely full. When we finish meals, and have eaten exactly the right quantity of food, we find that we don’t feel full; there is still room in our stomach to properly process the food and make it ready for nutrients to be absorbed in intestines. This sweet hunger feeling is very therapeutic, as it helps optimise digestion, proper absorption of nutrients, and appropriate elimination of waste.

Just to add little more. What we normally say doing Meditation is infact practicing meditation techniques. That is why there are many different techniques to reach that state of restful awareness. With these techniques we create the environment and meditation happens. It is like sleep, we can't force sleep, we just create the right conditions and sleep happens we don't even know how. Science is still a work in progress on this.
