This video is incredibly helpful, and easy to follow. Thank you for sharing ❤️🎹🎶
I was BTS's top 1%
I was Sabrina’s top .05%!!
An American with a real sense of humour, a major discovery in my quest to regain a minor understanding that I had allowed to become relatively unimportant in the scale of things.
Very helpful video - thanks! I found out the camera does a great job, and auto-crops the pages wonderfully ... when putting the pages on my black music stand. Otherwise the photos are a bit funny and the aspect ratio of the pages can go funny. So if using the ipad/iphone camera to scan, use a black music stand!
I’m COMPLETELY lost. My ForScore on my iPad doesn’t look ANYTHING like yours. The very first thing you show is the suitcase icon. Mine doesn’t have a suitcase icon. Then you show the half note icon. Mine doesn’t have a half note icon. What’s going on??? My toolbar has (L to R) flat symbol, arc, 8 types of drawing lines, a plus, ruler dashed circle, A bar, slider, trash, undo, redo, layers.
And you can learn measure by measure too😁
Oh my gosh you are just so sweet😭thank you so much this video and learning the piano is just so fun im just struggling with trying to play with my left and this video was really helpful thank you so much❤
You're very welcome! Best wishes to you in your piano journey! 🫶🏼
I'm a bass player, I go by shape, from my understanding, Take a major scale and drop the third, sixth and sevent note down a half step and yiubgwt tge minor of that sacke for C major is C D E F G A B C, C minor is C D Eb/D# F G Ab/G# Bb/A# C. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Yes, that's true--but it's a more complex way to describe it. What you described creates the natural minor scale. To get the harmonic, you'll need to sharp the seventh degree of the natural minor.
I have used forScore for approx. 10 years and always learn something new from videos like yours. No more heavy binders, digital pedal and score annotations have been game changers. I am amazed more musicians don’t use this with the IPad Pro. Thank you.
You're so welcome! forScore was such a game changer for me and I'm glad I can help others get started with it!
Dang I was gonna throw it away
Once you get over the Disney sqeeky mouse voice, it’s quite helpful.
Thank you so much! This is so comforting. Please do more Beethoven fun facts.❤
My dad played these for hours. Thinking of him tonight. Thanks.😢
what song are you play at the end? 🫣
Latin Lament by Christopher Norton

I was Eminem’s top 2% 👍
Same
Thank you. Good reminder.❤
thanks ... hanging out with my learning ... is neat
That is awesome advice. I needed that inspiration. Thank you 🙏
You're very welcome! I'm glad it was helpful!
Why we play in a nutshell!! Love this video.
Thank you!
That's a tough one. My problem is that my pieces need so much work, I play technical exercises, scales and arpeggios because my pieces are taking so much work. They're fairly easy, only a couple of tricky spots, but I dread playing them even though I really like them. So my technique actually suffers in the long one. Do you find that true of your other students?
I would choose pieces to practice that are only slightly outside of your current skill set (and a good teacher can help you choose repertoire wisely) to prevent frustration. But even more importantly, I'd recommend choosing pieces that you love enough to stick with it through the hard parts. If you have a genuine passion for the music, you'll be able to make it through; if it's a piece you're not crazy about, the hard parts will kill your enthusiasm in general. Hope this helps!
What a video!I was so confused about major and minor scales before but I guess everything changed now.Imma bout to be the next beethoven.Thank you very bery much!!
Many thanks for this .. always had trouble with syncopation and this might just help . Slowly at first for me I think

How silly way to explain. I didn’t get it either
I am a mature adult-
Your presentation could not be more clear or concise. I have seen very few company made videos for any piece of software that explains how to use a program as well as this. for a complete beginner.
Thank you very much! I'm so glad my video was helpful, Rod!
Your videos are very well laid out and easy to understand. thanks for this
Actually i liked the first one
Thanks for the tips. 👍🙌
The keys feel too far apart to play. I’m going for lessons soon I hope but maybe this is something you can answer?
Could you expand more on what you mean? Perhaps your hand isn't fully grown yet or you have naturally small hands? That's a common thing but isn't a problem.
Very detail explanation, thank you
Many thanks for this . Very well presented in easy to follow Steps😊
Love the old time metronome! ❤ 😊
