Hey ya'll, my name is Johnny Byrd and welcome to my UA-cam channel. I appreciate each and every one of you for coming by and supporting me as I show ya'll tips and tricks I've learned over the years fishing. 👍👍👍👍👍great blue gill 🎣video Johnny . Finally got my little boat fixed but haven’t got to take it out to many DR. Appointments coming up short of breath binging tested next week 48yrs of construction dust. So I watch your videos along with three other guys that put out mostly catfish videos. And yours are always clean and family friendly.
@@royschlickeisen2539 thank you and hopefully you can get out there and get on some fish soon , my dad has the same problem with the breathing He was a welder his whole life and that weld smoke took a toll on him as well.
That’s a HUGE fish
Johnny I had the same issue on my trailer, jack up the wheel , see if it’s got a bad bearing. It will be Lose and clunky, if you change the bearing make sure the whole gearing comes off. Mine was welded to the spindle and killed the axle. Waited 4 weeks for new axle ( no fishing) Thought I would let ya know, them caps don’t off for no reason.

Just got a question for you sir, I live in Utah and we only got channels here and they don’t really get to big you are lucky to get one over 10lbs here. When I first moved out here I seen one of your videos where you were talking about the meat hunter rods and I liked what I saw so I bought one, one of the meat hunter customs but it’s way to much for what’s out here. Do you think the flex rod would be good for pulling out some channels? Like I said it’s a good day if you can pull a 10 pounder. I have a medium light madkatz rod but sometimes I feel like it’s even too much. Think investing in a meat hunter flex would be worth it for me??
@@jeffjohns9469 yes I definitely think the flex rods are more suitable for channel cat it makes smaller fish, a lot more fun. You may even look at the ugly sticks catfish rods

Just down from you towards the bridge in front of the trees we used to float a slip bobber with a red Bobby Garland shad about 12ft deep and load up on crappie
@@JamesSpen thank you I’ve seen some people crappie fishing under and around the bridge. I may have to try that one day.
@@JSOutdoors man down by the lock by the boat ramp the sand bass are generally in there descent throwing a white grub or shiny spoon

@@Brian-h8j it’s a very old 14 foot flat bottom with a six horse mercury on the back and a 35 pound thrust trolling motor on the front

You said a can of peaches and this jumped straight to the front of my mind. I remember taking my youngun's fishing and all the fun we had together. So good to see kids enjoying the outdoors instead of stuck inside sheetrock playing some stupid, mindless game on X-box.

@@Brian-h8j I moved to Spiro a few years ago, and I usually catch my shed here at the city lake. if not I catch them over at cowlington

@@Brian-h8j we might have to give it a try sometime maybe meet up over at the big rocks. My family calls that the old star bridge because before the lake was put in there was a bridge there across San bois Creek.

@@Brian-h8j thank you and we appreciate y’all watching and I grew up in Keota and never really fished that spot a lot but the last couple of years it’s becoming one of my favorites. It seems like there’s always something to catch there. It may not be what I’m after but I can usually catch something.

@@Brian-h8j I believe so up in the shallow water me and the kids were there once last year and that was the only area we could find a fish caught a couple of nice cats
