    Im guessing its because libero does the lowest points or "kills" and the salary is more for the position to score more points for the team (correct me if im wrong i just thought of it)

    This is not how you should dolphin dive - shown here is putting a lot of stress/impact on the knee and can cause injury. Your knee shouldn't contact the floor, and if it does, not nearly as hard as seen here. Pls don't dive like this!

    Mastering the Volleyball Hitting Approach 🔹 🏐 Step 1: Ready Position Start with your feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent, and arms relaxed. Stay low and balanced! 🏃‍♂️ Step 2: The First Step Take a small, controlled step with your dominant foot to build momentum. This is your setup! ⚡️ Step 3: The Explosive Step Drive your non-dominant foot forward, increasing your speed. Your body should be upright, eyes on the ball! 💥 Step 4: The Plant Step The final step-plant both feet quickly, with your hips open. This is the base for your jump. Arms swing back for power! 🕰 Tempo: The key is the timing: slow → faster → explosive! Control the first step, accelerate through the second, and explode on the third. This rhythm helps you reach maximum height and power. 🏅 Consistency and repetition are essential! Practice this approach to hit with more precision and power.

    teach her to not land on 1 foot that’s how you can tear your ACL. two girls on my varsity volleyball team have torn their ACL one of them was from landing on 1 foot.

    • @volleyballadvice
      @volleyballadvice Рік тому

      1 foot landing is not to teach. Please make a little research and you will see that most of the hitters landing on one foot. It comes from the correct body mechanics and torq movements. To avoid the injuries I would hardly recommend take care of your body and work out regularly. Make your muscles and ligaments stronger. Good luck

    • @Axolotl211
      @Axolotl211 8 місяців тому

      yeah uhh your knee isnt supposed to touch the floor until your entire body makes contact with the floor. youre meant to push off one of your legs and sort of kick back with the other. you then extend your arms and slightly raised your wrists to, 1, get the ball up, and 2, prevent your hand from getting injured. youre not supposed to really be in the air fully, just for a brief moment in which you will soon touch the floor and slide. when you dive, you should very much try to prevent any boney areas of your body from touching the ground (knees, wrist bones, elbows, hips, etc) to prevent injuries.

      I guess it is just a different technique. It looks weird though that she instead of jumping just falls forward from the knee, to me it looks like risk of inquiry when executed incorrectly. And the floor looks much softer than on a typical volleyball court.
