he was just a portion closer to you after transitions and thats all that matters. If you had same close run there wouldnt be a question about results, theres always something to improve

My first consideration was which products work on Linux, MOZA probably has the best experience there. But Simagic apparently works now too. I was too broke to get the Simagic anyway. I got the r12, srp lite,s and added the alien mod Loadcell and will try the mechanicals by 3drap. I understand this will make them quite a bit better than the SRP pedals with a lower upfront cost because you can upgrade when funds become available. But p1000 are likely an autumn purchase. If I’m really into it after a year I’ll consider selling the r12 and grab simagic stuff.

I wish more competitive sim drivers did more of these. Very unfortunate to see you go out the way you did, but it's only up from here.

Proximity is king, specially when aggression is visible. That seems to be the winning factor when leads are similar. The real question is why not use server side scripts to lock drivers to cockpit. There will be more room for errors both in chase and lead not to mention more realistic driving/transitions. This script is available for purchase and is only server side. As soon as you adjust camera to "Mr Bean" you can't drive the car. I know VDC is aware of the script but does not want to implement it for some odd reason. Hopefully in the future this will be standard for most comps.

Drivers have been complaining about calls in VDC for years. Chris really needs to do better. Questionable calls all event.

Hi Brandon! Regarding what you said about the camera moving left and right when turning the wheel while drifting, I found that the velocity setting works better because it’s based on the car’s direction rather than the steering wheel I’m using a single 21:9 screen, and with this setting at 100%, the camera stays fixed on where I want to go without moving during corrections (steering is at 0%)

got rid of my assetto corsa folder because i had tons of mods and it was getting heavy so my neckfx settings were also gone, ty for making it straight up🫡

I needed it

Just changed my settings and played for about an hour. Played with neck fx for a while but these setting definitely helped after some getting used to. Feel a lot more confident with where I’m putting the car. Thank you for the great video!!
