from an engineering standpoint - don't loosen the bearings PLEASE. they are slow out of the box because of the high viscosity and amount of stock grease that is packed in at the factory. that will reduce quickly with a little use and become much lighter. If you loosen them; the only reason they spin faster is because the inside race is now spinning on the axle instead of the bearings rolling as they are designed. You have effectively turned your bearings into bushes and they will wear (damage) the axle. This will likely cause your wheels to always feel loose and rattly.

Hey.💙 I have a question: What size did you buy? I live in Romania, and I am a 38 - 39, which is 6 - 6.5 in U.K. I am a 7.5 - 8 in U.K, so I bought a 39 - 40. Will it be too large? They arrive on next monday, and I need your answer. Thank you! ATTENTION: They were big. I got them back and ordered a size smaller!!

Whats your foot cm please answer me, i want to buy one too but im confused about sizing. I am around 24cm ( my rookie skate size that i got is 24.4) cause i have wide feet. But the size in beach bunny is 23.8- will it be too small for me or the next size is better which is 24.6cm. Im afraid itll be too big 😢

I was alittle surprised that the Lolly skates didn't come with Purple or lavender colored laces to match with the outside of the skate....kind of disappointing...

Thank you! Great review. I ordered the Beach Bunnies last week and immediately sent them back and ordered the Lolly’s. I have wide feet that swell from time to time (very minor swelling) and the BB made my feet scream 😩. I absolutely love the Lolly’s. Worth every penny for sure. ❤

Ok well now I’m extremely glad my loc skate shop didn’t have any beach bunnies in stock. I thought for sure the purple BB were my DREAM skates as a very first timer, but the green lollies were just so beautiful and shockingly comfy. My feet probably wouldn’t have lasted 5 min in the BB lol

I almost got these but opted for the panthers because I hate the vegan leather. It just doesn't last. And unless you want it for ethical reasons the suede boot is just a better quality. Its just every pair of moxi bunnies I see are always very torn up. It seems like they just dont last very long. Are they good skates? Yes, but the boot isn't a good boot. Its a very pretty boot and well made boot, but the materials used aren't built to last. It was hard to say no and get the panthers since the bunnies are on sale right now and are such a good deal. But I decided to spend the extra $90 on the panthers. (technically an extra $60 but I had to buy toe guards so they ended up being $90 more) If I didnt know I already could skate I would have gotten the bunnies. I think theyre a great option for true beginners. But not someone like me who knows how to skate but just hasnt done it since childhood. I know skating wont just be a phase for me so I wanted something that would last longer. But for a casual skater or true beginner the bunnies are great starter skates! edit: the beach bunnies, jungle skates, and panthers all have the same indoor outdoor hybrid wheels and you cant buy them separately. They arent gummy wheels only the lolly has gummy wheels.

Try the Moxi Panther, Moxi Beach Bunnies, or any version of the Jack's if you really need that much support; but they do have more affordable skates with more padding and ankle support!

@@dabulousvai I bought some ankle strapping and that is helping a lot. I’ve had my moxies for 2 years and paid over $600 for them then bought the chayas. I’m much more confident outdoors in my chayas so now I have rink skates and outdoors pairs I guess

Lol I went from the lolly straight to the jack 2. My lollys didn't last me vey long (about 9 months) I skate the skatepark so I kinda destroyed them. one of the things that I really disliked about them was how wimpy the speed hooks are and how they smash down onto the laces when you crash, which makes the laces shred faster. But I think that they are great beginner skates for almost any type of skating!!!

Hi Will...there have been a LOT of storms affecting the central and northern coast of CA over the last few months. Capitola which is just a bit away from this spot was decimated. If you're a beginner you want to shoot for 2 foot waves and there's no way to know for sure other than to go a take a look. It changes day by day and even hour by hour. The winter months produce the best waves far and away but it's also colder and a bit more uncomfortable if you're not used to it. You'll need a full wetsuit, booties and gloves for this time of year (which you can rent at any surf shop in Santa Cruz when you're starting out to see if you'll like it. You might want to check my beginner surf tips article which is jam packed with actionable tips for you first day out there: boardwalkskater.com/beginner-surfing-tips-to-get-you-surfing-now/

i can't believe you have 0 comments on this, I have experienced the right way to fall, tug and roll and you get up with 0 damage, fall the wrong way and you never know how you will walk away, personal advice throw some video footage of correct or proper way to fall and vice versa , I know its more video editing work but its very helpful to demonstrate it in you videos, if you care... :)
