nice intro Al for this GB. depends on if you actually want that army in 40K. personally i would do it as a stand alone with a paint scheme that doesn't say 'hello i'm 40K' but thats just me😉have a great weekend and enjoy the build✌👍👍👍👍

If you're leaning into getting into 40K, then I'd make it part of an army, but if you're more interested in the painting and modeling, I'd let your imagination go wild with the basing on it.

Hi Al. I think that these things have a very similar construction to the Plastic Soldier Company military vehicle kits. Plenty of surface detail but not much inside. I currently have a PSC RSO in 1/72nd scale on my bench. I cut out the windows and build up the cab interior from scratch. I will be trying out a new ( for me ) camoflage technique using chalk over a tan base. I just have to stop getting sidetracked with other builds thats all. Good luck Al. Regards.

Hi Al. I know that you like your fantasy figure stuff so I won't comment on that as its not my genre. But the tree's cover all types of modelling. Yes they are exspensive which is why I build my own. I also look for twigs and lichen in my garden. They have a more natural look,and there free. There is also the twisted wire and putty technique. They all work and unless they are the main feature then they can be blended into the diorama. You have certainly bulked up your stash. Good video, well done. Cheers.

Some good new things for your stash. The trees are always nice for dioramas and it's not so easy to find good trees for an acceptable price. I think you have enough material for many nice hours at your workbench. 🙂 Best wishes, Joachim

Never had issue with damage to decal but I use very sparingly and only right on top of decal as it has one time lifted some paint even through the varnish

The tree's actually look better being slightly out of focus , it creates a sense of depth to the image. Good job with the weeds and mushrooms , very clever.
