The Dorset Town King Charles III Built
The story of Poundbury began with King Charles III when he was still the Duke of Cornwall. His vision was clear: to create a community that blended the best of old-world charm with the needs of modern, sustainable living.
But the King's dream wasn’t just about creating a beautiful new town in Dorset; it was about challenging the status quo of urban development and showing the UK and the world that we could build better, more livable, and more sustainable communities.
The impact of Poundbury is already rippling outwards. Across the UK, new developments are beginning to follow in its footsteps, adopting similar principles of mixed-use spaces, sustainable living, and pedestrian-friendly designs. Several other projects are already taking shape in cities like Cambridge, Bristol, and Edinburgh.
Watch to find out how King Charles III’s vision for Poundbury was never just about one town, it was about setting a precedent for the future of urban planning.

You OBVIOUSLY are Not in the UK nor have you ever been to the UK. Poundbury is just a condensed version of EVERY Village, Town, City in the UK over the past 500 years. The only thing that stands out about Poundbury is the houses are all Leasehold, Not Freehold, and because of being Leasehold = come with a Long list of covenants (rules) of what you, I would say CAN DO but it is a phone book thickness of what you CAN NOT DO. District Power and Heating has been around for over a Century. There is absolutely Nothing NEW about Poundbury other than having Prince William dictate what you can not do such as put a satellite dish or starlink dish on the flats and houses. The Mixed Use urban planning is HOW things are and have always been done in Europe. Your AI read script should emulate a UK speaker so the pronunciations would be butchered!

Camp Nou will be better for fans (capacity, atmosphere, better museum etc), but Bernabeu is better in terms of technology. I’m personally not a fan of of the exterior of the Bernabeu. I think it looks too industrial, like a fancy warehouse and the design doesn’t fit in with the surroundings.

Liverpool should have built new stadium on better location long time ago or around year 2000 and have the architects that designed and built Stadium of Light for Sunderland F.C. That stadium was simply design with a capacity of 42,000. The stadium's design allows possible expansion of a further tier; completed expansion of the whole upper tier would produce a capacity of 63,000. The Construction cost for Stadium of Light was £24 million. Liverpool needed more than 42,000 capacity to start with so Liverpool should have built 50-55 thousand capacity that allowed for similar expansion of a further tier. Regard to £80 million was worth the money. Well its worth it when FSG still owned Liverpool. But Liverpool need state of the art stadium with larger capacity in near future and FSG is not going to built it. We need new owner with capital.
