I made this video today of my Hidden Waterfall near Pell City. The water is dingy because it’s been raining off and on for three days. Normally the water is crystal clear. These are some very rare artillery projectiles that I found long ago. I was a hard core diver for 52 years and wish I could still do the kind of diving that I was good at.

I have put off making this video for about ten years because it was hard for me to make. It is a story about my favorite relic. This relic was left for me at Gettysburg.

This video shows some of the tools and other relics that I have found diving in the Alabama River over the last 45 years.

Civil War War Logs Steve Phillips

Each year we have a lot of family at our farm. I think we had 45 today. Lots of pretty girls, great food, good fellowship and found a few arrowheads.

We picked up a few points on my farm.

I plowed up our arrowhead field and after a short rain we hunted for one hour.

Yesterday Spence and Jimmie had their dredging cut short by wind and waves. I took some photos of Nome contraptions. Every year people try to reinvent the wheel and design their own dredge. Most of them don't work well and will end up abandoned up here adding to the debris pile that is Nome. Nome is not pretty. The area around Nome is pretty. We had visitors at our cabin.
