Last week's adventure brought us to the windward (east) side of the island of Oahu to a place called Haleiwa Joes. Dinner with an amazing view of the Ko'olau Mountains. Also, hiked as short, but very fun and beautiful trail to a very tall waterfall!

Sunflowers of Waimanalo Country Farms on Oahu! Plus Aloha Stadium Swap Meet!

The rare site of these farms can only be seen for a short period of time in the spring, but definitely worth checking out if you get the chance if you're on Oahu during the months of mid May through early July. Also we hit up the Aloha Stadium Swap meet for some goodies!

If you guys want a good burger check out Teddy’s Bigger Burgers. There’s one in Pearl city, downtown Honolulu, and I think there’s another one near Kailua beach. Kua Aina also has good burgers. Teddys bigger burger is a must right after a brutal hike!

Aloha!! Thanks so much for the welcome! The weather is the most amazing thing when coming from Chicagoland which can be snowing and below freezing one day and then warm and sunny the next. Plans were always ruined.. We truly love everything about the island and can’t wait to create so many amazing memories! Mahalo!
