Ahhh look at that, you seem to have been caught in my little brain dump. Here where I sling around random ideas that pop into my head, and put them into videos in an attempt to improve making videos, as well as have a creative outlet.
Thanks for taking the time to pop in, and hope I brighten your day, even If just a little ;-)

How do you choose your Political candidate?
This is my little Word Salad and thoughts about politics, and the way that something as silly yet important as politics creates a divide where there does not need to be one, through lies and deceit.

Ubisoft CEO Step down?
Переглядів 53Місяць тому
I'd like to quickly revisit the recent controversy surrounding Ubisoft's CEO, Yves Guillemot, and the open letter calling for his resignation. In this video, I explore (even if a bit fictitiously so) the other side of the story, highlighting Yves' significant contributions to Ubisoft's success and why his departure might not be the best move for the company. Keep in mind that this is an Opinion...

Too true. 😂😂😂😂
Thanks for sharing your views! The bouquet illustration is a good one, politics is something quite difficult to define for many, maybe that's why people rather don't speak about it. 😅 It's actually remarkable that a country as huge as the USA only has 2 major parties - well there is also the Independent party, but if Google is correct, George Washington is the only only IP to have won an election. But it's so true, that generalisation or distortion of viewpoints... May we learn to truly listen to understand, and not to respond. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
I was skeptical at War Within, but other then delves feeling like Torghast all over again, I actually enjoy it now. Perfect choice of words out grown it, I believe its not a matter of age its a matter of content that its being served. Great vid!
@@WoWPlayed-official I have heard nothing but positive feedback from everyone playing this expansion, so I'm really glad about that, enjoy a good old prosperous success store much more than the typical "this game studio sucks now" Stories. How did this open letter get any publicity? Was it a publicity stunt? It always fascinates me when someone with no experience with being a CEO decides they know how to run a company better than an experienced CEO. As to Ubisoft's future I guess at some point no more expensive Open World video games, just mobile phone games designed by the Gambling Industry.
I'm Very sure it is some form of clout chasing, you don't normally address issues like that in an open form, most likely to get enough attention in order to get other investors over to his side

@@harrytaylor7988 yea, it's going to be interesting to see how "militar-esk" they are going to make the next tittle as all the military vehicles did reduce the practicality of standard vehicles
Sneaking that satisfies in RDR2/RDO/GTA5/GTAO? Just don't get me started about Cayo Perico freemode with it's randomly-spawning enemy. Coming from Far Cry 4 and 5 I was surprised how bad Rockstar's sneaking mechanic was.
A lot of deficiencies in that RAGE game engine. Melee as well as Sneaking. And the Mission design. But the sandbox is a work of art, no denying that. Like you said fingers crossed for GTA6.
@@jitteryjet7525 I know right! it's sad to think that you can literally compare it to ANY Ubisoft title for that matter, for all their flaws they seem to have the stealth figured out... wait not sure about outlaws tho...
The Oppressor Mk 2 is a puzzle to me, a vehicle almost handmade to spoil the balance of a team-based game, plus way too useful for solo grinders. It looks like a decision made by an Exec to cash in on the popularity of Saint's Row and not a decision made by a Marketing team who really understands the game and it's Sharkcard economy. Butttt on the other hand GTA Online continuely makes a lot of money, so perhaps the Rockstar Games execs are smarter than me.
That's my line of thinking as well. For example, there was an old youtube parody where someones avatar 'snuck' into Admin island for "Litch King" where he hears the executives brainstorm for the Death knight, describing all the best strongest attributes of all the classes to make a giga class, to which everyone else around the table "claps like seals". But they tried it and I guarintee you they wont make that mistake again (they went beyond 9000)
I agree I think Rockstar Game's silence is the best policy for them. There is a saying that goes like this: Sometimes it is better for one to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt. Especially when UA-cam is full of ShockJock outrage baiters just waiting for a company communication they can misrepresent or take out of context.

I just want normal jobs for role-playing, even if you don't make good money, they're fun. Heck, it would be fun if there was even an option called "traffic cameras" which to enforce following rules, for example merely shooting a weapon would call the cops to your location and give you a star, and expiring would give you 2 stars, and so on. And sessions with lots of people, too. Why be limited to (I think) 8 people, when you could have 100 people on the same session, for proper role-playing on some sessions and proper mayhem on some other sessions.
@@SapioiT also have the Police be more efficient, drive better shoot more accurately, make it a bit more impact full when you get the police on you, and hea having a viable option to (call me crazy) NOT be a criminal. sigh.. we can dream, who knows
@@Rouxkat Heck, maybe even turn that into factions. Crime vs Order. The ones part of the Order would follow all the laws, and have access to police/army/secret-services missions for shooting and destroying, and other business which can be both legal and fun, The Crime would be basically the current GTA focused on breaking the law.
@@SapioiT ahhh man! I have not even considered that as an option, that's brilliant! Basically the same way Disney can save Starwars, Make team Dark and light, one side have Order, security but strict rule, and the other side freedom but chaos, give the community freedom to pick a side, both with their "things" eg Horde & Alliance!
@@Rouxkat They already opened the possibility, by adding to the game the measly in-game-currency rewards for not breaking the law in-game. I remember receiving 2000 in-game currency for being a good person, after driving around for a few missions which didn't give me any stars as part of the mission. In addition to this, they could also have different faction-wars to the game. For example, truckers vs taxis, lowriders vs monstertrucks, ice-screamers (icecream sellers) vs coffeeers (coffee sellers), cyclers vs scooters (if we can use kick-scooters in the game) vs skaters (if we can use skateboards in the game), electricounts (yes, written like that) vs petrolhead-icks (yes, written like that), and so on and so forth. Maybe also add add a dr. pepper alternative name to the ecola vs sprunk debate, making it something like ecola vs sprunk vs dock-tour salt.
@@Rouxkat Rockstar should employ me as a game engagement consultant for the new game. I can even come up with interesting missions. For example, drive legally to another player while not being shown as a player to them, while the player has to stop in a certain place (i.e. delivering something to a certain place), then throwing eggs or tomatoes at the player (without injuring that other player), then having to escape that player is having the same chase mechanics as the police chasing you, but only that player and everyone else online in that player's in-game organization, and no one else. Heck, add the survive-the-hunt as an in-game mission, with more than 100 players playing it at the same time, and any number of hunters and survivors. And hunt-the-survivors. And a plague game mode, in which getting shot by an infected or hit by an infected's vehicle or having your vehicle hit by an infected's vehicle, would turn you into an infected, and each infection you cause after being infected would make it into the score used to decide how much people get paid, with the original infected not receiving a pay reduction inversely proportional to the time spent not infected (so more time infected = more pay reduction, except for the original infected, and also for everyone except the last person, each infection you cause is a pay increase). Or snow fights, or maybe the hot-potato game, in which there's a countdown for a grenade exploding, and you have to pass it from person to person without being the last to hold it or too close to the last who held it before exploding, when it explodes. Maybe add multiple hot potatoes for bigger lobbies, and a part of them being duds which would only make a funny noise and light up as a lightbulb, instead of exploding.
Hopefully they will stop folk cheating with the sniper too. It ruined free mode.
@@tomcat2877 cheats in general, I don't understand the cheaters psychology. How can you feel like you achieved anything if you did not use fair tactics... and with that, hope R* has something practical in mind for regulating the cheaters

This is an incredibly bad take. It’s nothing to do with loyalty or anything else. People play games to have fun. ArrowHead made the game not fun for the majority of players. People stopped playing and left reviews telling people they shouldn’t buy the game now because they don’t think it’s fun. For an online only live service game, the current version of the game should always be the one that you’re reviewing, not previous versions as they cannot be accessed. I didn’t change my review, I just stopped playing - same as many others.
Most sensitive playerbase ever
Last time I had serious fun in WoW was with timewalking mage tower (TWMT), the hard version everyone and their grandma complained about that it's too hard. While it had its flaws with ilvl scaling, I remember I was very happy after a week of grind for my pink book mount. I hoped that devs would fix TWMT in a way that would fix the ilvl scaling, not that they would change its overall difficulty to be for kindergardeners. What I am trying to say is that WoW devs can change anything they want and you cannot go back and play it as it was back then. This is true for raids and to some extend dungeons. At the end of an xpac the game you paid for is pretty much closed and you cannot re-experience it. If you missed an XYZ time period to play XYZ version of WoW, then too bad, if you don't wanna miss out, then pay us NOW, give us money upfront every 2 years only for it to be gone. You wanna get shiny black dragon? Now you can easily with MoP remix, don't miss out. You wanna get 7.2 TW artifact weapon skins? Play during Legion. Oh you missed out on Legion? In 2026 there might be Legion remix and that's gonna be your chance to get them. You remember 8.3 corruptions? Those were fun, right? Well in 2028 there might be Old Gods remix, your chance to get everything regarding the Old Gods. The Mimiron's Head haven't dropped you yet after 1000 kills of Yogg'Saron? Well now you can get it for doing minigame dailes points from a vendor. You point it out on the internet? You better shut up, or you want content droughts back? Why even bother playing this hamsterwheel anymore?
shiesh... you hit a couple of strings there... It was always beautiful how WOW had so many different systems in it that baught joy to some one at sime point, but only for a little while until they rip it out of your hands and be like: "moving on" But that's a thing I always wonder how do you keep expanding on an ever evolving world without removing layers off it. MMORPG's always have this little conundrum it has to compete with...
@@Rouxkat that's MMOs' and other live-service games' innate flaw - you gotta keep it going to make the money flow, content gotta be removed, it will make certain people mad and the longer it continues the more kinds of people are gonna be mad for it. When it comes to what I would suggest how to fix it, then I shamelessly say that I have no idea how to fix it and I don't even care at this point. Considering how the economy works, there's only place for so many live service games and people cannot play many of them at the same time. But I fixed it for myself: I'm done playing live service games no matter if they are paid or free to play. 1) They make me paranoid that they will change something and I won't be able to go back. I can re-watch a movie or series, re-listen songs, re-read a book, so I like to re-play a game. 2) It's not ethical to other games to be in a constant war of stealing player-counts. Non-live-service games don't suffer from this. It's unsustainable considering servers and queues and whatnot...

I have to say, the editing is great. I did pre-pay for the expansion but did not get the 3-day early access. I wanted the mount and the transmogrification. However, I found that having early access didn't matter much since the real content began three weeks after launch. Season 1, which includes the raid, PVP ranks, Mythic +, etc., was only released last Tuesday, so even with early access, we still had to wait like everyone else.
Yeah, i regretted buying the 3 day early access, it had no benefit. and it just divided the playerbase unfortunately launch felt 'empty' but it was still nice
I bought the early access because I started a new job in September. Let me go hard for an extra weekend before a few tiring weeks. To me it was worth it, but definitely felt excessive.

They lied to us about “doing better”. They lost their good will. But if they really have woken up and really are gonna put fun first. I think a bunch of people will come back to this game. I’m one of them. Also I’m not saying 450k concurrent players but a healthy number of players will come back hopefully. This game play loop is so addictive but it was missing the fun after the ridiculous nerfs.
Eh, I wish I could have my 10 minutes back. No offense man, but this is the most nit-picky thing. I didn’t get early access, and logged in to TWW, with about 98% of the other people and it was fine. Still gobs of people filtering through quest hubs. Now I didn’t see as many server firsts, but I’ll happily take that over absolutely clogged areas and massive server lag. It’s a great xpac, not having 100% of the players didn’t have any effect on my experience at all. In fact, I’d argue that I was dealing with less lag in the first week than any other expansion I’ve started, and any lag that did occur was cleared up within a day or two. That said, dude title your videos better. Unless your intent was to clickbait, “I felt bummed out by seeing a pay-gated early play access feature for WoW” would have worked a ton better. Plus, your meandering subject matter on the first HALF of this video really made me want to stop listening. I had to grind my teeth to actually get to your actual point. To me, your anecdote about the safari businesses really hits the difficult spot Arrowhead is in. I don't know what some part of the player base will ever be happy with the changes to the game, nerfs or buffs or otherwise. I think a LOT of gamers have no idea how game balancing works, what is actually fun for a game, and how long game development can take. (60 days is pretty break neck for a small studio) There are over 35+ weapons in the game, other 35+ Stratagems to call down, 10 levels of difficult, and two unique enemy factions at the moment. The game has been out for all of 2018 days (released February 8, 2024). I'm not gonna claim AH has made all the right steps with the game, but they have been way more responsive and transparent than so many big studios that are all about the micro transactions and season passes and random IP crossover gimmicks. I do hope the crashes get fixed. And I hope the balance changes get people to calm down. The game is still fun. I'm still diving.
@@BlargFlargRlarg23 True that!
most of the changes they said they are doing are done by adjusting some numbers in a spread. It could literally be done in one day. Their code got leaked and code monkeys have pointed this out. Most modern devs excessively pad out their projected dev time because they are afraid to take risk and face accountability for failing. So tasks that take a couple days now take "a few weeks".
@@Harvest133 Even if the changes to damage were as easy as adjusting a spreadsheet, that's ignoring all the other steps that go into making a change in the game, much less a giant update patch. There's playtesting, model adjustments, debugging. Game devs don't just pick a random number to increase damage and mag size by. Face accountability? That's what the 60 day plan has been about. They're facing plenty for all this.
I've got 600 hours of pairing with randos this is my favorite game of all time and I'll never stop being a helldiver FOR DEMOCRACY
@@oxyyerks9849 that right there... would give a grown man tears... I saw the trailer drop yesterday for the new update, and was received VERY positively. Which means there is still Way more love for Helldivers 2 than not!

Dead on I'm not one to be "Back in the good ole days" but this is exactly the case with gaming company's now. Its driven by fast turn over on unpolished titles and when you do get a wonderful community like you describe more often than not its very unappreciated and that makes things like this situation feel even more amplified. Great Vid Rou there are 4.5k vievs on this vid show some gamer to gamer respect yall give it a like and sub .I 100% will ❤️
