great video, i hatched Earl in my incubator, he is still alive, thanks for sharing
Gorgeous!!!! The music captures the mood as well
This is beautiful
oye friend, you say the truth , it is cost 1500 dolars x night or $ 1.700 x nigth ? high cost can you answer this question
Not sure what the current rate is - this was 4 years ago!
Hey guys Would it be okay if i use some of your clips for an upcoming video project on the grand railway hotels of Canada. I’ll credit you appropriately on screen for everything. Thank you
No problem!
You were paying for the view and the food. The room and the hotel look no better than a Hilton.
I did this loop ride in March 2023 and it was amazing. Top 10 on the bucket list of rides for sure.
14:44 ㅋㅋㅋ 1박 200만원짜리 호텔 메뉴는 햄버거
Summer tires! And up to the mountain that is dangerous for you and others on the road 😮 In Norway you would have to pay a 300$ fine and in many cases lost your driver license or they cut your license plate - that means you no longer can drive the car! Super strict here for good reasons 🙈
Lake Louise is one of my favourite places anywhere. However, Jasper is also stunning and is well worth the trip if you have the time.
Thank you! We're excited to do this trip 🤩
Great vlog
She forgot to tell you afternoon tea was $100.00 per person in 2023
So thats the inspiration for the grand budapest hotel.
Is Cien Pagoda reachable through biking as well?
It is reachable by car, or by very steep steps from the lake!
Masks are still on?
Not now, but when we were there in January 2023 they were!
Awesome,,,, Sun Moon Lake is very perfect for cycling. I went there last February, visiting Sun Moon Lake for a day trip. Taichung is also an amazing city famous for its local cuisine and beautiful temples. I also uploaded some of my videos about my travel to Taiwan on my channel.
I love yalls vibe yall are so chill and I just binged your videos of Taiwan haha
I felt sorry that u didn`t like the soy milk i recoomended to u while waiting in the line.
We really appreciate your recommendation and your help! I think we’re just used to very different foods, but we still loved the experience! Thank you for your kindness!
welcome to Taiwan 歡迎光臨 臺灣 😊😊
Thank you!!
Which moth did you visit Banff? I see lot of snow
This was in mid-October 2020.
Do you like Taiwan?
No - we loved it! And we would definitely go back, for longer next time!
i love Taiwan.
The food market looks amazing! so what exactly does it smell like? then stinky tofu?
It smells like sweaty gym socks lol
cool capsule room! how was your sleep?
Surprisingly good!
Not a bad way to spend Anniversary #2! I'm on a U.S. of Eh binge watch tonight!
Well that was cool! Great video of the whale breaching!
Can I bring my own folding bike all the way up there from Taoyuan airport? Thanks.
Not sure, sorry!
W❤️W! That’s Lovely! Cheers for more awesome and incredible globetrotting adventures!🥂❤️✨
We are staying in Kaohsiung with Helen's family. Great vlog! Definitely going to start following along.
Looks like you had a great time. We wish we had time to ride around the whole thing. We were there a few weeks ago and are in Taiwan now and traveling FT. Good luck with your adventures!
You two are so chill and calm. I'm here because I'm visiting Taiwan in March and I kind of want to get a look, but I like you two, I'm looking forward to all your trips. Subscribed 🙂
Taiwan is amazing, so great choice! How long will you be there? We spent 10 days in total, and we’re happy to give recommendations. Thanks for watching and subscribing :)
Matt and Melissa this is Aunt Carol and I just want to say thank you for taking me on your journey. I'm enjoying it very very much. Be safe and God be with you throughout your journey. Love you both. 🙃🥰😍🤩
Thanks for coming along with us, Aunt Carol! So glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for the well wishes. We love you too!
Omg crème brûlée tea wow I need to try that!
We’ll save our first time trying it for you!
Are we drinking coffee now Melissa haha? - Cassidy love you miss you!!
Only in times of desperation… we love and miss you guys too!!
Hi Melissa and Matt. Are the Food and Drinks worth the price? The views are Amazing. To bad you can't put little scooters in your luggage and put them in your backpack for the day, just in case you need them at night when there is no transit. Keep having Fun on your Adventures.
Hi Ed! Food and drinks were worth it, think we spent under $15 USD total? Fortunately the public transit in Taiwan is very good, so we didn’t need a scooter this time around! Thanks for watching!
@@USofEh Are you okay? Did you finish the world tour?
You never step back at all whenever there's something new to try!! Loads of interesting stuff!! The mochi-chocolate looks very tasty! The excitement for the sweet potato balls was visible 😂 So unlucky with the transports though.. And I can tell how crowdy and noisy it was, maybe making it even difficult to record.. Well done to Matt who prob had to raise his voice sometimes..! Ciao!! Gio
Trying new foods is half the fun of travel! Yes - Melissa dreams of sweet potato balls to this day haha. Eventually we’ll learn to check transport schedules but sometimes it makes for interesting walks after hours! Thanks for watching!
Wow, drinks in a bag. That is so old school.
Apparently it’s more common than we thought in Taiwan, but we thought it was pretty cool!
So cool! Love this!
We thought it was so interesting!
So you guys did Maokong, Jiufen, Raohe night market and Elephant Mountain all in ONE day?! ONE DAY?! 😯😯😯😯 I know Taiwan is small and convenient enough that you can pack many activities in one day but this itinerary is too much! 😂
We did, and definitely wouldn’t recommend cramming it into one day! We decided while we were at the top of the Maokong Gondola that we would try to make sunset at Jiufen, because it was too smoggy to enjoy around Taipei, but really wish we would have dedicated a full day to Jiufen! Especially because we spent ~2 hours to get there, and everything closed up about an hour and a half after we got there! 😂 But we were leaving to Sun Moon Lake the next day and didn’t want to leave it out - next time we’ll take it slower! Thanks for watching!
Very quick one! Wish it lasted longer 😁 it's already incredible you find time for editing all the videos though.. Such a pity you met cloudy weather and the lighthouse was closed, hope you still enjoyed!! Take care! Gio
Basically how we felt about our time there - very quick, wish we had a bit more time! Ha we’re still figuring out the editing balance, because we’re very behind at the moment with about 10 videos worth of footage. Lots of cool things coming up! Thanks for watching! Ciao! Matt & Mel
What a journey to get there! Definetely worth it! Wenwu Temple looks absolutely stunning from every point of view!! Best way to end this long bike ride, you both also seemed to be very tired at the end, should have been such an effort! Experience you will remember! Ciao!! Gio
Definitely one of the most memorable parts of Taiwan! That temple will be forever etched in our minds - one of the few times in my life where my jaw literally dropped! Thanks for watching! Ciao! Matt & Mel
Amazing one, guys! Loved the final skyline view, can't even imagine by being there in person! Such a busy day it was! The garbage truck thing is awesome, loved the little tips (like the taxi bargain), entertaining music, well done!! Keep it up!! Big hugs! Gio
Thanks, Gio!! It was definitely a busy day, but so worth it! So glad you enjoyed! Hugs from Hanoi, Matt & Mel
Hi Melissa and Matt. Thank you for bringing us along for the Trip. I said it before, everything looks amazing. When you were at the Lighthouse, I thought that Melissa meant that the vending machines were closed. Stay Safe and may the weather be enjoyable.
Hi Ed - definitely beautiful, and much more to see than we had time for! The lighthouse being closed was a bummer, but fortunately the vending machines were still open haha. Honestly the view from the fort wasn’t much different from the lighthouse so still great. Wishing you well. Thanks for watching!
Hi Melissa and Matt. The views looks amazing. Everything at the Temple is Incredible. Hopefully going downhill was the easy part. Keep having Fun on your Adventure.
The temples were conveniently at the top of every tough uphill, so it really was a rewarding ride the whole way around. One of my favorite things we did in Taiwan, for sure. Thanks for watching!
Saw this on r/Taiwan, shared this to a Chinese learning discord where I teach Taiwanese Mandarin
Thank you so much for sharing, Kevin! That means a lot to us :)
Looks like an awesome time :)
It was incredible, and honestly the highlight of our time in Taiwan - highly recommend it! Thanks for watching! :)
Hi Melissa and Matt. Thank you for bringing us along for another Fun Day. You know your Canadian when you want Maple Syrup. The views and most of the food look amazing. Stay safe on your travels, hopefully the weather stays good and thank you for all the travel tips.
Hi Ed! Melissa might need to start carrying a bottle haha. No complaints about the views or food - all part of the experience. Thanks for the well wishes and for watching - all the best to you!
Looks like a fantastic first day! I'm captivated by the intricate details of the temple and especially fascinated by the wall of Buddha's! Great video! Love you two so very much!
Thanks!! The detail was incredible - just wait until our Sun Moon Lake video, we have something really amazing in that! We love you too!!
Hi Melissa and Matt. The food looks amazing. With the bowl, I would have done the same as you. The city, Temples, and Changing of the Guard looks Incredible. Which is better - Sweet Potato Balls or Tim Bits? Keep having Fun on your Epic Adventure.
The salty soy milk was… interesting. But a must try for Taipei! We really enjoyed our first day out, especially because we didn’t research much - a lot of it we had pinned on a map but were just surprised when we showed up! Melissa says sweet potato balls, by a small margin - she could eat them every day haha! I might be leaning toward Tim Bits, as long as they’re fresh! Thanks for watching and catch you in the next one!
