A classic scone recipe, makes 18 scones. I used to make hundreds of these every day when I worked at The Delaunay in London, I would mix the dough at about 2am so it had plenty of time to chill before cutting. Chilling the dough before cutting helps you achieve a more uniform rise when baking the scones. Ingredients: 440g Plain Flour 30g Baking Powder 80g Caster Sugar 80g Diced butter at Room T...

    With rising prices of fuel, and food, people out of work how can you advertise a machine that cost 1500 to 2000 dollars. I would think buying food would be more important then ice cream.

      Hi Sharon thanks for your message. I’d be so happy to post details on how to make ice cream without using the machine if that’s what yourself and my other subscribers would like to see. My channel is not about buying food it’s about making it, as a chef I want to share all my tips and tricks and equipment that gets used in professional kitchens today to help save time at home.

      The disadvantage of TM6 is that it is too expensive and requires a subscription fee, and many recipes are not provided for free. My friend recommended Tokit to me, I bought it in installments on the official website, and it has all the functions of TM6.

    why don't you use the thermomix whisker for the egg whites?

    • @Hollyholmes88
      @Hollyholmes88 3 роки тому

      Good question! A few things, the thermomix is excellent at whisking egg whites in small quantities. This recipe is quite a large quantity. my kenwood whisk is huge and the bowl is huge so I believe that creates the best result for volumous meringue . Secondly Im actually not sure that quantity of whites would whisk in one go in the thermomix. An Electric hand whisk would also do a great job ! Hope that’s helpful ….

    This may sound strange but when you turn dial for speed what happens if you go past the number?

    • @Hollyholmes88
      @Hollyholmes88 3 роки тому

      Not a weird question. You have speed options 1-10 and as you move the dial through those numbers the speed increases- u can always move the dial beyond the suggested number. 1 is a slow stir , 10 a vigorous blender! You can’t turn the dial beyond 10.
