I'm well old enough to remember when the the YF-23 and YF-22 were competing. Personally i was a YF-23 guy. Be that as it may, both aerocraft were and are amazing still. :)

F-22 is an amazing aircraft but I still wish they had went with the YF-23. Overall the 23 was the superior stealth aircraft by far. Faster in super cruise too and still the best looking SOTA fighter in the world.

People were SO impressed by the SU-57 at China's airshow with its "360 degree TV" doing its cobra and falling leaf maneuvers. And here is the F-22, a plane far older than the 57 doing the SAME maneuvers with 2D TV using only its flaps! LMAOO. The difference? Americans know how to design a plane to hit those fancy maneuvers without having to waste extra resources on 3D thrust nozzles and sacrifice stealth like the 57 does. Russia has yet to figure it out, and has to rely on 3D to hit the same maneuvers xDDDDD Absolutely pathetic. Murica #1 Baby

Just one of Rolls Royce Ultrafan engines can put out 100,000 pounds of thrust with less fuel, no after burner and the F22 Raptors with afterburner both combined produce 35,000 pounds of thrust according to google. Why don’t we just put wings on an ultrafan engine lol.
