Revelation is a book of the revelation or more commonly the coming / appearing of Messiah. Rev 1:2 is not saying it is “soon” to happen but instead when the time comes, when the events in Daniel and Revelation begin, it will speedily happen. In other words when the end times begin according to Daniel’s prophecy, the things revealed to John will rapidly happen! This is not referencing a time period close in proximity to John’s day! Berean Literal Bible “The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants what things it behooves to take place in quickness. And He signified it through having sent His angel to His servant, John…” Secondly, John saying our the last hour, as though judgement and wrath are coming in that generation. Well I have news for ALL mortal men - judgement is coming in your generation because you only have one life to live, on generation, to be prepared and sanctified to meet your maker! We ALL better realize, Yeshua the Messiah’s revelation to us as individuals will 100% be after our last breath on earth! In other words for ALL humanity “it is the last hour”!

DeMar did a great job presenting his views. I couldn't help but be distracted by some of your reactions. Going out of your way to say that one of the the other perspectives "strong arms" folks into believing what they believe before later laughing and making fun of folks who have other views... Hmmm. I will clearly state that I do not know which perspective on the "end times" is correct, but I do know that Jesus said they would know us by our Love. I think focusing on 1. Love God, and 2. Love your neighbor adds far more value and spreads more seeds for future reaping than publicly geeking out about how wrong other Christians are about their views on this one difficult book. I tend to dismiss any views not presented in love, but in judgement. But DeMar did well laying out his views.

Does it not seem many Scripters that the protestant religion quotes are in meaning that come from a pastor in his own interpretation teaching his people what to believe. A person can argue all day long what Scripter means and never win anything. To find truth a person needs to follow history and not from a writting from a persons own thoughts. This protestant reads scripture to his thinking or what he has heard. Many things regarding history are absolutely wrong what he quoted. All differences came from martin Luther. The Bible was put together by the catholics to be read in the mass and its interpretation that corresponded with the believe of salvation. So many differant denominations of diffant believes regarding Babtism, rapure, once saved always saved, the sinners prayer, born again, did the Mormans get it right, or jeahova witnesses. This is why you must believe in one authority. Jesus was known as the rock inwhich he handed to peter, so i guess jesus is a pebble. Jesus said feed my sheep. Feed my lambs. Look at history of popes. It was not protesant teaching. Church is not about feeling its sacrifice.

Demar doesn’t understand there’s different flavors of dispensation and uses the wrong one to dismiss dispensation. Without understanding dispensation and Paul’s mystery revelation you can’t make sense of today and end times. Completely confused that Paul says it wasn’t known, and hid in God since the beginning and uses Peter who says this was what Joel prophecy end times by mixing the two. Prophecy along with Israel and the law ended in acts 7 and started to diminished all the way around Acts 15. Since Paul entered and today we living mystery and not prophecy

In ch. 20 there is no reign of Christ in verse 4, but a thousand year reign of beheaded souls. I can picture a beheaded body, but I am not quite sure what to make of a beheaded soul.

The millennium, as stated in the text, follows the casting of the beast and false prophet into the lake of fire (ch. 19). It is obviously a part of the narrative continuing into ch. 20, when Satan eventually is cast into the lake of fire, "where the beast and the false prophet are." In chapter 19, we have the defeat of the enemies of Christ and His church, which all are empowered by Satan. The defeat of these enemies until the defeat of Satan himself is separated by the narrative given by the Holy Spirit as a symbolic time period of one thousand years. Its purpose is given to prohibit Satan from empowering his allies in killing Christians, like had just previously happened with the harlot and the beast. When Satan is released he tries again to gather together a worldwide effort with new allies to once again kill Christians, but before he is successful, Jesus intervenes and destroys his efforts. The final judgment happens, and then eternity begins.

Was Jesus or any of His disciples part of a Jewish Church where they dressed in traditional garb and followed all of the traditions and rituals? I've never seen this anywhere. Jesus taught on the streets, out in the open, conversationally with crowds. Not as someone who just cites verses and lectures. None of what Jeus did looks like what the catholic church does.

I'm watching this 5 months into the Israel-Palestine war that started Oct. 7th, 2023, and the "prophecy peddlers" have been going hard at it for a solid 5 months. Mario keeps saying that things are clear as day. Well if that’s true then why do you have so many interpretations. To me the best way to solve this is to go to the writings of the earliest fathers and see what they practiced and believed. Sorry but I find it really hard to believe that Polycarp and St Ignitious go it wrong but 1500 years later Martin Luther got it right and even people like Mario wouldn’t even believe Luther go everything right either because he doesn’t believe in a lot of what Luther believed either.

A rather disappointing debate. Mario had very superficial knowledge and resorted to pseudo-historicity and borderline conspiracy theories to argue. When he was asked how do we know what books go in the Bible, he gave circular answers and say "We know because God gave it to the Scribes".... Which books?!?!Which Scribes?

If the Bible is infallable how can two adults that are intelligent read and interpret the written word different the church authority s also not infaliable as history will show when evil popes get ellicted. The Word is the Holly Ghost (vibration) sent forth from God,was in the begining and is ever renewing our souls. God alone can choose whom is worthy, belief can mean deeper realization of Christ when our magnetic call of love attracts God. Thru Christ we are led to God. Thru works we can do the will of the Father and he alone may Grace us to salvation thru Christ. Why else does Our Lord sayest SEEK the Lord God. Why does Christ set the example that we should follow. Greater works man shall do than I. How can one belive if man does not Love God with all his heart , mind, and Soul. Strictly a technical (production) observation: Gary’s lighting makes him look like a sitcom ghost!

Some arguments by Protestants boil down to this: Yes, Jesus said it, but he didn't mean it. Yes, Jesus said “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit" (John 3:5) but he didn't mean that, he actually meant only spirit. Yes, Jesus said “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you." (John 6:53) but he didn't mean it, couldn't mean it, that would be cannibalism. Yes, in the Gospels, Jesus said in verse after verse after verse the things we should do to enter into the kingdom of heaven, but his words are meaningless because Paul says we're saved by faith alone. If Protestants are correct, and there are so many times that Jesus is recorded as saying things he didn't believe, how are we to know if he meant ANYTHING he said? If he can mislead Nicodemus on how to be born again, or mislead his followers in the Bread of Life Discourse to the point that they leave him, or give us so much guidance on how to live our lives just to have Paul render it all useless, then is anything Jesus said the Gospel truth? Also, Paul says he didn't come to baptize. Yet we read in Acts, "One of those listening was a woman from the city of Thyatira named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth. She was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul’s message. When she and the members of her household were baptized, she invited us to her home." (Acts 16:14-15) and "The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved-you and your household.” Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house. At that hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; then immediately he and all his household were baptized." (Acts 16:29-33) If Paul felt baptism didn't matter why was, the first he did after someone accepted Jesus as their savior, to baptize them? And if baptism isn't important for Christians is this passage important? "Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off-for all whom the Lord our God will call.” With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.” Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day." Acts 2:38-41) If baptism isn't important, why does it always seem to be the very first sacrament Paul and Peter gave after conversion baptism? If it didn't matter, why bother?

Revelation 12:1 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. John wrote that the moon is under the Woman's feet. Revelation is a series of prophetic visions in parable language, Heaven's language as Jesus taught in Matthew 13. What does the moon represent? Genesis 1:16 "Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also." The moon rules the night, the darkness. The Ruler of the Darkness is satan. The moon represents satan in parable language. What does it mean to have the moon under her feet? Romans 16:20 "And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen." Under her feet means she has satan conquered. Theologians ignore this clue. Yet, it is the defining clue. Neither Israel nor Mary under the Old Covenant when Jesus was born had satan conquered. Therefore, the Woman cannot be Israel or Mary. Luke 10:19 "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you." Only Jesus and believers have satan conquered. The woman represents the Church, believers, who has satan conquered. Revelation 2:26-27 to the Thyatira Church. "And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations- ‘He shall rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels’- as I also have received from My Father;" Not only will Jesus rule the nations but also the overcomers will rule the nations. The woman is the Church giving birth to the overcomers. The overcomers is a major theme throughout the Book. The woman, the Church, goes into the wilderness for 3 1/2 years. The wilderness is a place of trials and testing. The woman is being prepared to be Christ's Bride. We are not told what happens to the woman at the end of the 3 1/2 years. When Jesus returns the saints are with him. The resurrection of the dead, the Christians still alive are changed and taken up, the Judgement Seat of Christ, and the Marriage Supper of the Lamb have to take place before the 2nd Coming.

When a Protestant gives you an argument he is giving the Protestant arguments that his personal faction accepts. There is no single Protestant understanding of baptism, or communion/the Eucharist. No single understanding of "once saved, always saved", or predestination vs free will. No single understanding of how to worship, where to worship, who goes to heaven and hell (they often condemn one another). To allow one Protestant to represent Protestantism is to make the pretense that they agree on anything more than that they are protesting Catholicism. There are Protestants listening to this who think Mario is full of it because his arguments go against what THEY believe.

Believing in faith alone doesn't mean that we shouldn't follow what Jesus clearly tells us in the Gospels. Jesus tells us that we need to be born again of water and spirit (baptism) to enter into the kingdom of God, and that we must eat his flesh and drink his blood to have life within us. Jesus tells us over and over how he wants us to live our lives, to take care of the poor and those in prison, to love one another, and he tells us we must obey the commandments (Matthew 19:17-19). Yes, we are saved by Jesus' sacrifice on the cross and by our faith in Christ. But do Protestants seriously want to argue that we shouldn't obey all the commandments of Christ? I remember in Sunday School being taught the Ten Commandments, and then approaching adulthood and being told that they (works) don't matter. And I remember being told that on the Judgment Day we would be recorded in the "book of life". What's the purpose of the Book of Life, a record of the good and bad we do, if the good and bad we do don't mattter? Protestants do works, believe in doing works, yet deny works matter. If they don't matter why do them?
