Thought of this game today out of the blue. A character on a show reminded me of these lil guys. I remember sinking hours and hours into this game and never understanding how to accomplish ANYTHING! I remember thinking the graphics were SO realistic 😊

It really bugs me that Dastardly (the driver of the Mean Machine) isn't unlockable in normal gameplay. Heck, he was playable in every Wacky Races game, (except for the Japanese Game Boy game, Crash & Dash Racing, and a couple others (including the 3DO game) to say a few, especially the Java one that released in 2004.

I must've been 4 or 5 when I played this. It used to scare me, yet I kept wanting to play it. This and 101 Dalmatians and Tomb raider would scare me back then.

I loved this game so much as a kid, spent hours with the music maker game.

This is a blast from the past. I remember buying it from PC world in a huge box in the late 90s. I remember this alongside Theme Hospital and Zoombinis.

One of the few games where backtracking and replaying levels are mandatory for a 100% completion. The game is beautiful, though. I wish I could play it again for nostalgia sake.
