Absolutely beautiful! One day when I visit Japan I'll have to stop by here. Thanks for taking the time to film and share this with us!
My pleasure! Thank you so much for watching!
that fried ham patty looked good! quail egg and pork belly not so much (not a fan of pork belly anyway).
@@doug896 yeah! It was really good! We went back there in one of my more recent videos too lol! Thanks for watching!
❤🎉🎉 🎉
Thank you for watching!
Our first time at Tsukiji Market was an amazing experience, especially with all of the delicious food we tried...highly recommend for anyone who's into fresh sushi, and food in general! Have you been to Tsukiji? Let us know in the comments what your favorite food was that you tried. Literally so hungry for good sushi after seeing this! Great capture as always, especially the visual quality, I could almost taste that sushi!
Thank you so much!! Now, go grab some sushi lol!! Thanks for watching!!
Sushi bowl and nigiri look amazing! We can’t wait for a Japan vacation one day.
Thank you for watching! Everything was great! I hope you get to Japan soon so you can experience the amazing food!
man, the look on her face when she ate the sushi...you just knew it was goooood! The sushi bowl looks delish! (Roe is no big deal, you barely notice it on other stuff). The crab...WOW, huge! Looks so good! (Somehow "cajun" sauce in Japan sounds weird, considering it is from Louisiana. lol)
Yeah, she really enjoys food! Me on the other hand, I eat because I have to, not because I enjoy it LMAO!! That crab was really good!! They have Tabasco there too 😂
おいしいそう! I haven't seen the pork belly onigiri before, I bet it is amazing. How much was it to eat all of that? Decent?
It was quite delicious!! So I think everything together was probably around ¥10,000...or in today's conversation rate probably like $70...so not bad at all!! Thanks for watching!
@@jeremyvitiello nice
Haha why do your videos drop always when I have a minute and see them?
Lol...lucky I guess haha!!
Hey! We met on reddit lol. Just checked out your video. I enjoy your editing style. Also, I miss Japan. We hope to make a trip out next year sometime. :) Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu!
Hey!! Thanks for checking out my channel! I'm glad you enjoyed it...new video coming tomorrow afternoon... Japan is such an amazing place, with so much to see and do. We'll be headed back next May I think...gave you a sub!
@jeremyvitiello subbed you too!
Thank you so much!
I love Tohoku
My wife is from Morioka...so it's a must to visit when in Japan...need to check out Sendai on our next trip...thanks for watching!!
@@jeremyvitiello amazing! My cousin and her husband used to live there because they were helping rebuild in the wake of the higashinihondaishinsai, so I have been there a couple times. Sendai was lovely! I hope you enjoy it when you go
It amazes me how many folks like Morioka...my wife wonders why lol!! Yeah I can't wait to go, and try gyutan!!
@@jeremyvitiello haha that’s so funny 😂 I think also you don’t appreciate the beauty of places you’re from? I get that fr
I know exactly what you mean!
I really appreciate the sound mixing a lot of big youtubers still cant get it right.
Thank you! I appreciate that! And thanks for watching!!
It is extra $1,600k round trip for PE vs E Chicago to Tokyo. Usually, I choose BC for long hauls for Biz but for non Biz not sure it is worth the extra $$$.
I can understand that...but business is beyond our price range. However, we do try to bid on a business class upgrade lol...didnt get it on this last trip...maybe next time. Thanks for watching!
Asakusa is one of my favorite places in Tokyo...from walking down Nakamise shopping street, to seeing Sky Tree off in the distance, it offers something for everyone! What is one place you have to see/visit every time you're in Tokyo? Let me know in the comments, and thanks for watching! Please stay tuned to the channel for more upcoming Japan content!

My wife and I just took JAL’s premium from Honolulu to Haneda and came away happy with the service and seating arrangement/comfort. The dining experience isn’t impressive (same as economy) but everything else was impressive. The seamless check in to the very attentive and friendly flight attendants made our 8 hour plus flight enjoyable. The seats are very good with excellent pitch and quite comfortable. A definite impressive flight.
I agree! If you want better meals/food options, it's worth an upgrade to business class. We're trying to get a flight on the new A350 when we book our next trip. Thanks for watching!
This is a very solid video - allows me to “imagine” JAL premium economy in just 6 minutes (rather than other videos that go on much too long for 20+ minutes!)..,
Thank you so much! I appreciate that...I really didn't want to drag on about it...just give the most important things...the seats, and the food lol! Thanks for watching!
Is Premium Economy Class for JAL's Airbus? Not Boeing.
Hello! This particular trip was on the Boeing 777...we are trying to fly on the Airbus A350 for our next trip!
Welcome to Japan! Good content. so beautiful. And it looks delicious ❤ As a Japanese person, this video made me happy. Thank you very much 👍 Have a wonderful weekend 🙋♂🙋♀
Thank you so much! And thanks for watching!
Chicken, pork and meatballs....oh my! (and wagyu)
You'd think I just went to Japan to eat all that...lol...I need to be more brave next time.
Fushimi Inari Shrine was one of the coolest spots we visited! Even though it was crowded, we still enjoyed it! Have you been to Fushimi Inari? How did you beat the crowds? Thanks for watching, and please consider subscribing to the channel for more upcoming Japan content!

No way! Lol
Great video again! Liked the flow and pace of it, if that makes sense. Do you have any idea how fast the bullet train went?
Thank you! I unfortunately don't know how fast it got up to...I need to get one of those speedometer apps lol
@@jeremyvitiello yeah man 😁 also, I think your presence on camera (i'm not sure if that's proper English) got really good and natural! Really enjoyed this one! I'll be watching more.
Thank you again!!! I appreciate the kind words! There's more coming, so be on the lookout!

more of that movie magic....camera in the room before you enter!! lol Im also loving this shower/tub "room". no need to worry about splashing
I know! I really liked that whole room! It's making us consider staying there again, as it was a great location too! Thanks for watching!
Another awesome edition to the journeys!
Thank you so much!!
Great vid!

The Gate Hotel is so nice! Highly recommend! Yasaka Shrine was so beautiful at night, with all the lit lanterns! Have you been to Kyoto? Please let us know in the comments! Thanks for watching, and please consider subscribing to the channel for more upcoming Kyoto & Japan content!
Hey! I had a question about the food: I heard Economy and Premium Economy get the same food. What about the snacks in between servings? Could you choose the Pizza at any point in the flight and does Economy get snacks too? Can't decide if I should upgrade my ticket the next time I fly to Japan xd
Hi there! I've flown both JAL premium economy and business class, (I have a video on that too!) and with business class, they actually have an "anytime menu", where you can get whatever, whenever...as far as premium economy, the pizza was a scheduled snack...but I also think economy and premium economy share the same menu. I think the only difference is that you can get a cup noodle snack...also, if you fly JAL premium economy out of Japan, you get access to the Sakura lounge! Highly recommend the JAL curry!! But even the price of upgrade is worth the extra leg room! Let me know what you decide, and thanks for watching! Please stay tuned to the channel for more!
@@jeremyvitiello Thanks for the fast Reply!! ☺️ I'm still planning all the things for my trip to Japan so I still have some time to decide. Do you know by any chance if ANA Airlines or Japan Airlines is better? This would be the best direct fly options for me.
My pleasure! I can't really speak on ANA...I havent flown them yet, but was wanting to...my wife says that ANAs premium economy isn't much better than JAL...I mean, she's from Japan and prefers JAL if that helps lol!
@jeremyvitiello Yeah wow ok, that speaks volumes ;D I've seen you made some more content about Japan, will definitely check it out! I don't know if you did any videos on their train system and just getting around Japan but I would love to see it 😄
Thanks! I haven't made any videos on the train systems specifically...only because I have my wife with me to figure all that out...I'm not the best at explaining all of that, but maybe next time I can film my wife explaining it...thanks for that suggestion! I hope whatever airline you decide on is a great experience, and I hope you have a great trip! If you have any other questions, please ask!
Nice video,I can feel that JAL’s PE class was the best, compare to AA and UA
Thank you! It's one of the best...I do want to try ANA and compare the experience...thanks for watching!
Enjoyed your video. My wife and I rode this many times in the last 15+ years to Hakodate.
Thank you so much, and thank you for watching! I'm happy that you enjoyed it...haven't been to Hakodate yet, but it's on the list lol!
@@jeremyvitiello At $520USD, the 14-day JR pass we paid in December was still worth it because we rode from Sapporo to Beppu and made stops in between.
Wow...that definitely pays for itself if you're riding the shinkansen so much! It wouldn't work so much for us because my wife is from Japan...so she can't get the JR Pass...
@@jeremyvitiello I see…We’ve been to Kanazawa 5-6 times and we’re looking forward to checking out the Hokuriku line extension this summer. Thank you again for replying.
My pleasure! Kanazawa is on our list too lol! Thanks again for watching. There's more to come!
Hi Jeremy, I worked with Natsumi a at a startup 5 years ago and she told me about your youtube chanel. Glad to see you have more videos and you guys travel. I enjoy seeing Japan from normal eyes and see someone I know in the videos 😊
Hi Ruby! Thank you so much for watching! Natsumi says hello, and we have more videos coming, so please stay tuned!
hey....I think there is some "movie magic" going on! The camera was in the room before you guys came in!! lol. food looked great!
Lol! Gotta make it feel immersive! The food was awesome! Thanks for watching!
@@jeremyvitiello I would be eating sushi every other day...lol. the in between days would definitely be "try something new" days!
I did try some new stuff on this trip, but I am quite picky, lol!
The food looks so good!
Absolutely was!! It's one of our fave spots in Morioka...need to try some new stuff next time, but I'm picky! 😆 Thanks for watching!
I've never been to Japan, but based on you blog think I might!
Thank you! I tell everyone that if they're interested in Japan or Japanese culture, they should experience Japan at least once...its an amazing place that you just have to see for yourself. I try to give a taste of it in my content, but videos can only show so much, you know? Thanks for watching, and please stay tuned for more!
Riding the shinkansen is such a convenient way to travel throughout Japan! What do you like about Japan's public transportation? Let me know in the comments, and if you enjoyed this video, give it a like, and please subscribe for more upcoming Japan videos! Thanks for watching!
I've only ever flown economy so I have no idea what leg room on a flight is 😂
Until I discovered premium economy, I've never looked back...sure, it's a bit more pricey, but to be able to stretch out more, and get up a bit easier...I'll gladly pay more! Thanks for watching, and please stay tuned for more upcoming videos!
Premium economy was definitely worth the price! With the extra leg room, leg rest, and 3 position foot rest, it's a really comfortable seat! Have you flown in premium economy? Let me know in the comments your thoughts over standard economy, and thanks for watching! Please stay tuned for more!
We have Booked the Hotel for a week in November. Thanks for putting this up, it confirms this is a good location and Hotel.
Absolutely!! Let me know what you think after your stay...I would definitely book again in the future. We just came back from Japan a week ago, and there's more videos coming...thanks for watching and enjoy your stay!
I have location on a huge picture in my house lol
Sweet!! I bet it looks amazing!
Nice! Looks fast.
It sure is! Like around 250 kmh!
Oh, damn, that's a nice room with a big TV and a good-sized window that allows you to enjoy the view of Tokyo city.
Hey there! This was probably one of the best hotels we've stayed in! The view is what sold us on booking and it's in a great location! We're currently in Japan now, so please stay tuned to the channel for more upcoming videos! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing! Do you have any problems with the room smelling bad? We're interested in booking but we've seen a lot of reviews complaining about a body odor smell in a lot of the rooms there.
Hi there! No, we didn't have any issues with that...it was a really nice hotel from my experience. Thanks for watching! Please stay tuned to the channel for more, as our next trip to Japan is coming up soon!
What kind of activities to do in morioka during winter?
I believe there is a ski resort not too far to reach by train...but I havent really been there during winter, so I am unsure of what else there is specific to winter other than skiing...thanks for watching! Stay tuned because we're heading back to Japan in a few weeks!
