I recently left a large mega church type that fits this description.....it was a liberal church. After praying about it, the Bible verse 2 TIMOTHY 3:5-7 "Having the form of godliness but denying it's power, from such turn away."

So women ruined church yea we all knew that. What a surprise. They’ve torn down or are trying to tear down everything the west has built because it doesn’t make them feel the right way. Absolutely fucking ridiculous.

The church today doesn't like it when Christians speak on apologetics and polemics. It is offensive to most church goers and they silence you. Especially the LGBTQ movement and the Islamic subject. I've heard many times that the church must be accepting of all sexuality and hope they turn to Christ and understand they have been living in sin. While at the same time giving them leadership positions to make them feel more welcomed. And when it comes to Islam, most churches will just say it's false and not give a reason why or have the church understand why it is a false religion. And many young modern Christians stumble and leave the church because Muslims tear apart what most young modern Christians believe. The faith is very weak amongst most young modern Christians and most Christians who have been in church their entire life without challenges. This is where I see the dilemma in the modern church teaching of the next generation of Christians. The church hinders most Christians on the knowledge of the Bible and what is out in the real world. Faith in the church is very weak and the spiritual warfare is very strong because the Holy Spirit is no longer in most churches. And to speak the truth leads the church into division. That's where I see why men don't stand with the modern church. Because the foundation of the church has been thrown out and stuffed with soft teachings and easy lessons that build weak and unstable faiths.

Men have to work during the week

I love church. I hate most church times. They could have a service at 8 AM. The instead break up my day with a "we open our doors at 11:30 for services" attitude. Its like pastors think that they are the only people with a job to do on Sunday.

Every succesfull church needs womans groups and mens groups that how men open up naturally and build bonds. The real stuff usually happens outside of church the real conversations and burden sharing is done this way not usually in the pews. Unformal environments the garage the shooting range pool hall men go out side with your buds invite men out to stuff

the character of Jesus is based on events that never happened. There was no fall of man 6000 years ago on the bible timeline. Outside of the bible, there is no much evidence for most of the stories.

Came here to post the reason. It’s because sermons are feminist injected puff pieces or male bashing “ step up “ tropes. Never any tools for men to actually do so. But they’ll shame us men into doing free car care for the churches “ single mothers “ while telling us how strong and brave they are. No. They’re promiscuous women . I’m ok with helping. But not while they’re championed and I’m pushed down for not helping enough. I have my own cross to carry. And that shit is pretty heavy at the moment.

Because men don't want to give up control of their life to another man. Men don't want to "fall in love with Jesus." Most men do not want to be cucked by their wives like Joseph, regardless of who it is "loving your wife on the side." In general, not a religion for men.

Ancient liturgy and ascetic spirituality are both difficult and centered around action. Orthodox or traditional Catholic Churches are the answer.

Other than what you mentioned there are 2 other reasons I am absent alot of Sundays and disconnected the Sundays I do attend. 1st I'm working. My family is a single income family and I make good money $60+/hr. But I feel the financial pressure to provide for my wife and kids so I generally work 60-72hr weeks. Now I never purposefully schedule myself for Sunday, but sometimes my company schedules me to work Sundays or more generally I've worked Saturday night. I try to show up Sunday morning, but I'm generally too exhausted. 2nd I feel judged and/or not understood for feeling like I have to work so much. Most of the men at my church are older and seemingly better off financially none of which have ever offered any type of financial advice which I would gladly take, but I'm not going to ask for. And I have definitely been told by an individual that my working so much is sinful those aren't the words he used, but was definitely the tone. Which I found to be mind boggling being told working hard to provide for my family is wrong.

Got crap to do. Sitting, there wasting time doing fake socializing for half of Sunday is not on that list. The last time men enjoyed going to Church were the Crusades.

I’m more and more convinced that the reformed church are the only churches that are speaking to men in an honest way. They encourage men to be masculine leaders and strong.

Church is all about the feels. Men are logical creatures and women are about feelings. Men go to church for their family or woman but with those things turning on men, men have much less reason to go.

Halfway through the video, and I can find many flaws. For starters, it's the mix of Christian core beliefs and your political beliefs. Honestly, from a centrist standpoint, (and yes, I am a Christian) your takes on the political issues and criticism of them seem more like you just weaponizing your religion to bash political ideologies you don't like. Yes, there are a lot of stuff wrong with the modern world, but the attitude you seem to have towards it seem more based on criticizing these ideologies rather than question, or at least trying to understand why they happen, so we can solve it in a Christian and holy manner.

I don’t totally disagree with your approach but I am curious in a way how is not affirming emotions always good? I will be honest I have been and am overcoming that negative example of children growing up to become depressed and alone later in life. I am American by the way and well I grew up in an abusive household that has been super difficult to work through and overcome in my adult years. I would love to see a biblical approach of dealing with disobedient children because obviously lashing out in anger and telling the child to stop doesn’t always work. Children can grow to hate their parents if all they received was discipline so I am curious as to a balanced approach on how to deal with a child who won't stop. I am learning that line between abuse and correction is a fine line and parents with control over their emotions will help and not hurt their children.

Churches have turned into a social club where spiritual warfare is deemphasized making it seem irrelevant to modern times. Men aren't going to church until becomes more than just a place that tells you how to behave. I lost a lot of respect for the church when they bowed to government and shut down during Covid. If churches wanted to make an impact they would stay open to pray for the sick, not cease operations when they face opposition from the authorities. Paul wouldn't recognize this church.

I think you make some great points and in all honesty I think the problem might have one more dimension to it. And that is, unbiblical doctrine being taught. I think it might be true that men are less tolerant of false or inconsistent doctrine then women are. Case and point: [1Ti 2:13-14 ESV] 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve; 14 and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor. And when we see things like studies from the American Worldview Inventory 2022, conducted by the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University, revealed that just 37% of Christian pastors have a biblical worldview. Maybe, its bad doctrine that drives some men away and brings them to a point of despair in that its very hard to find a true Christian church. Maybe many of them throw their hands in the air and give up trying. Food for thought. What do you think?

Church has been feminized heavily, and turned into entertainment and tickling ears. Men like robust, worshipful churches with the gospel preached. That's not what you get from far too many churches in the west.
