What you've said is why it feels so good to play Bryan imo. He's reliant on good reads and timing to pull through with a win at high level, and the devs know this which is why he's rewarded with massive damage (many characters get massive damage for nothing atm but I think this is a balance issue that'll be sorted). Sure he's not as strong as many other characters. But once balancing is sorted and things have leveled out a bit I think what makes Bryan Bryan will be more stand out. A keep out counter hit monster with huge damage. I don't play Bryan because he's top tier, I play Bryan because he's a fucking psycho and feels cool to do cool shit. Not all characters have to be top tier and not all characters have to have every tool. It's cool playing around his weaknesses and makes it that much better when I do something sick with him. Currently sitting consistently at Kishin and soon to be Bushin. My win rate is steadily climbing and I'm getting better, so I'm aiming for Tekken King within the next 3 months. I fucking love this character.

Dude I struggle with your qcb1 > b2f4 > b24 > ws3 > ff2 Especially hitting the knee has pretty tight timing. I practice it rn doing b24 into ws3 on it's own. Can you verify or falsify if this method is useful or does the timing change in combo. Since the more hits a combo has the further away the opponent gets pushed in juggle - Maldermon lol

Heat smashes should all do the same damage, have a longer startup and be minus on block, that alone would fix a lot.

The way I feel about this game is that they want everybody to be super strong. I'm just embracing the cheapness now.

To me there should be no such thing as safe powercrush heat engager. In any character. No safe powercrushes at all, highs or mids. Dragunov is busted and is a shame cause i loved the char in T7. Db3+4 is too much, if they wanna keep it +7 it should stagger on block, like -30 or something, and not hit grounded and not track too much. But even like this +7 on a low for Drag is very strong, even if it would be more reasonable. They could change it to be +4 on hit and being -14, so at least we can step after.. Thing is with throws being homing u kinda removed his main weakness.. having a full throw game and homing is too much to handle except for that 1% that can break all throws on reaction.

Yup, I've been playing him for about a month, hes pretty much impossible to play in high level. Blue+ is a nightmare. You just don't have the tools to handle someone pressing you. Hes super hard and people have no idea because they suck at the game.

A combo i stole from knee off of QCB 1 is dash up SSR b2,1 jab b2,1 again SNK 2,1 i think it’s a great way to maximize damage when you’re a little too close to the wall

They just didn’t need to give shaheen that wr2 buff if he didn’t have that it’d be whatever. Also they should’ve made all slides grounded launch punishable if they’re gonna do it to lee

Shaheen is *Strong* yet *Underrated* in T8. I've seen pro players (Ulsan, Knee, LowHigh) use him and they win. Stop sleeping on Shaheen

Great list but I'd put Lee, Leroy, and especially Jin & Devil Jin higher. They're so incredibly busted. And Lee can basically be played like Hwo now.

Kuma has terrible frames, range and pokes so doing shit like random df2,1 or hopkicks is kind of the only way to play Kuma in order to gain mental frames on opponents. If you dont do it, then Kuma just loses slowly due to having no good defense options
