This process looks really interesting. I'm somewhat in the middle (I do plot and I do a lot of pantsing) so this looks right up my alley. Great video!
Congrats! I can feel the joy🎉❤
Ahh love everything about this and hearing your progress and answers. I'm definitely checking out that Plantser journal too.
@@BonnieNicoleWrites thank you!! 🫶🏼
your characters are reminding me of some of my big faves from other media so i think I will def like your book 🤭 loved this video!
@@oliviagwriting oh wow, I love to hear that! thank you ♥️♥️ I hope you do like the book!
Keep going!
Love the vibes!
I was today years old learning there's a TERM for my writing process thank you for this from a fellow pantser
@@oliviagwriting aww, I love this! You are welcome 🫶🏼
You're so pretty!
@@isabellajuanitalyn 🥲 thank you! that’s so kind!
This is so interesting and I love your process!
Ahhhh holding your first book is the best feeling ever! So excited to learn more about this story!
This is so inspiring!
@@isabellajuanitalyn thank you!
So cool to have found your channel! Your vibes are so welcoming and sweet!
@@isabellajuanitalyn aww thank you!!! welcome!!🫶🏼
The trying on outfits analogy was so perfect!! So true, sometimes you discover you only want to keep one element of the scene. Also I loveeee ‘no word written is wasted’!!! That’s so important
thank you!! & yes, the one element thing really struck home for me as well! 🫶🏼
So crazy hearing how similar our hopeful publishing timelines are! It’ll be so nice to be able to chat Throughout the process as we navigate the self publishing journey 🥹 loved this video sm as always
oh my gosh! how exciting 🥹 someone to relate to every step of the way!
YESSSSSS
omg hey girl!! thanks for answering my question! hearing you talk about your wips seriously ignites a fire in me to write! i think having a tentative publishing date for late spring / early summer still gives you a lot of time to complete your 2025 goal if delayed! even if it's out by december 31, 2025, you still did the thing!!
@@itsamina that is so true!! thank you :) that is the end goal…do the dang thing!!!
ur notes app being a mess is so relatable lmaoo
I’m close to starting revisions and I’m so excited for the process! I love the idea of color coding as you go through
we stan a productive queen inspiring me to write frrrr u ate
hahaha thank you!
ande writing one book and drafting another is such a mood lmaooo
Love the way you explained this!
Just reminded me that I haven't watched the new vlog yet 🫠 Soon tho! ♡
Just finding your channel and immediately subscribed. I have never gotten one of my books past the first draft stage, but I am changing that this year. I am still figuring out my methods (used to be a complete pantser.....now I am gradually becoming more and more of a plotter). I need some sort of kanban board and/or color code system for my editing. Thanks for taking us along on your process!
@@BonnieNicoleWrites aww, I am so glad you enjoyed the video! I completely relate to the pantser sliding into plotter territory haha, I find that I work best when I blend the two! Good luck drafting, you got this! This is my first time getting a book to the revision stage, so I’ll be figuring it all out right alongside you!
@@andesears Thank you so much! Good luck to you too! Always so excited for other writers and especially someone else in a similar phase of writing.
i really like your revision system! i'm still working on my first draft but it's great to see how other writers tackle this. where did you get your draft printed?
@@paytonjletko thank you! it’s been so fun to figure it out as I go! best of luck with drafting, that is such a great step so enjoy it! and I got line printed through Barnes & Noble Personal Press. BrielleWrites has a great video on how to do it!
@@andesears thanks! it's definitely been a fun time. i think i know what video of hers your talking about so i'll go back to it once i'm ready for that step! loved this video and can't wait to watch your others!
great book vlog 🐍 would love to know your favorite part of the writing process
thank you! I think my favorite part so far has been drafting, I love discovering the story as I write it. It's fun to allow my creative process to pull new aspects of the story to light that I didn't know would come up!
writing in the cafe looked so peaceful in 6:54 <3
it's going to be so satisfying to remove those sticky notes once the edits have been made! i'm looking forward to seeing your journey ✨
@@itsamina right?!? I honestly can’t wait to reach that point even though it’s so far away haha. but thank you, Amina! I appreciate the support 🤍🤗
Another nice and great videos 😊 It is simply positive energy ❤ hope to you all the best in your life 😊
Thanks for sharing another great video! You are inspiring me to keep on writing my own book😊
@@Sages_and_Pages aww thank you! I’m glad you could relate!
Was directed here by Brielle's shout-out to you. It's nice to meet you. Yeah you've got the right idea: having a system is the quickest antidote to perfectionism. You mark the things to be done, and then things get done. You bought a professionally bookbound version of your draft?! That'll certainly be a prime artifact years down the road when fans ask you questions about your process, so bravo for getting the jump on it.
@@AdamFishkin thank you!! and yes! I actually got the idea from Brielle, and I’m so glad I went through with it. It has been a game changer in revision! thanks for checking out the channel!
Thanks for sharing this nice video and have a great day 😊❤ sending you much love !!

Do you introduce the main love interest in part two? I just notice that the main love interest is always very involved from the beginning or people lost interest.
@@BbGun-lw5vi I have considered that! They are introduced at the very beginning of part two, however I am not super worried about interest being lost because the main plot does not revolve around the love interest. It is an added element to the plot!
Sorry I don't like Saving Cat method because it doesn't drive why it matters. To save time I say watch Abbie Emmons outline videos to make the story better.
Speaking to my soul! That drafting process makes perfect sense for me. Thank you for sharing this book 😊
@@writenowdream3882 I’m so glad you could relate! No problem :)
Seeing your joy of holding your book for the first time is absolutely contagious! 🐍🐍🐍
@@itsamina aw thank you, Amina!🫶🏼
You are very kind girl 😊 Have a great day ❤😊
Looks great video ❤
🎉Thanks for the book recommendation. I'll pick that one up.
Loved seeing your unboxing, and knowing your husband was excited too! Significant others supporting each other is so lovely to me. One of the last conversations about my writing that I'd had with my husband, was him telling me that I should focus more on dishes and the laundry, instead of writing. Lol!! (He's now been my ex-husband of 5 years, and my life has never been better!) The snakes look super cool! I love snakes on book covers, though in real life, not a fan. 😵
@@lendralit1174 thank you! yes, my husbands support means the world to me! I’m glad you’re no longer with someone who is unsupportive, that must’ve been very hard. And thank you! Same here, I am not a fan in real life hahaha
I am so impressed by the dedication and thought put into this! I didn't realize how much work went into a story. I am learning so much! 🐍
@@ReareaGirl wow, thank you!!
Your excitement is so contagious - so happy for you that you get to hold your book in your hands! Also love the Save the Cat mention - that book (I read the screenwriters' version) transformed me from a pantser to a plotter and is so so helpful. Excited to watch you revise your first draft as I'm revising mine!
@@hannahetienne Thank you so much! You are too sweet. ☺️ and yes! it is such a great resource, it’s really helped me transform this process. Best of luck to you with revision! It sure is a doosey haha
Is a writer job pay well for a good writer ?
@@HH-zb5ul I am not currently a full time writer, nor I do make money off my writing, so I would not know!
