Happy A'ustralia Day.
Perth is the special catch doll !!!!
Actually Australia has lots of tornadoes, however they occur in our empty deserts so no one knows.
Appreciate the detailed breakdown! I have a quick question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (behave today finger ski upon boy assault summer exhaust beauty stereo over). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
How about Orange
Brisbanite here. Sydney is also constricted by the sea in the east, the Blue Mountains in the west, and national parks like Royal NP in the south and Kuringai Chase / Marra marra / Hawkesbury estuary in the north. Leaving only Campbelltown Mossman Bowral as the only available area for longterm expansion. Already Penrith / Badgerys Creek area is rapidly losing available room for expansion. For that reason I prefer Melbourne over Sydney if I ever had to move. Who wants to lives in or near Campbelltown or Penrith when they can live in Melbourne? Yes Sydney has better beaches than Saint Kilda, but central and southern Victoria have many other attractions to more than compensate. Mornington Peninsula, Great Ocean Road & Wilsons Prom are stunning. The Dandenongs are charming.
Way back in 1931 King George V decided that Australia had become a "crowned republic". You need to search "Statute of Westminster" (which also affected Canada and NZ) and a few other things that went on around that time. Another significant event that year was Australia getting its first Aussie-born Governor-general (Sir Isaac Isaacs) against the King's preference.
That's super cool! I had no idea about that. History is wild, huh? Thanks for the info!
Perth is very expensive and not much to do really.
I can understand where you're coming from! Perth does have a higher cost of living, but it also offers stunning beaches and a laid-back lifestyle that many find appealing.
Why are the ships sailing backwards at around 8:08?😂And the rowing boats too. All with “bow” waves being generated at their sterns. AI gone berserk?
It's just a demonstration video to make it more engaging. Please don't be too critical, honestly, we couldn't find a camera back then to capture the footage, haha!
What about Perth?
Perth is not called a regional city.
@ I see.
The Roman Empire lasted from 27 BC to 476 AD. It has no relevance to Australia at all. But more than once, you show Roman legionaries marching.
Aussie is no longer it
why are you showing Roman soldiers?
I wondered that also
Thanks
Probably only here in the NT is where everyone wears thongs all the time!
In the NT, thongs are practically a fashion statement.
For sport in Australia you said cricket and aussie rules football then showed footage of rugby. Sacrilege!
Horses are NOT deadly animals. They don't kill people, idiots riding them doing stupid things kill themselves. .
There are many, unspoken, things about Australia and its people. One of the first is this.....whenever you people, out there, hear this just know.....when they say "we are laid back" people, two things are true......1. they lay back on their couch and wait for others to do the job (men mostly). 2. women are laid back, on their couches or anywhere else to have sex with, with any man who is "better off" than their own boyfriends/husbands.
Thank you for your brilliant video I love your uplifting reactions
I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! Perth truly has so much to offer, and I'm thrilled to hear my reactions resonated with you!
Also their trains run between the major freeways lanes. I was driving down the freeway and a train overtook me. Genius idea!
That's such an interesting observation! It's great to see how innovative transportation solutions can make travel more efficient.
Can anyone suggest the best region to live in south Australia with family
If you want a family-friendly region with scenic views, great schools, and a peaceful lifestyle, Adelaide Hills is ideal. Towns like Stirling and Crafers offer a charming mix of small-town community vibes and proximity to Adelaide (just 20-30 minutes). The region is also filled with parks, wildlife, and weekend markets, perfect for raising kids in nature without feeling remote.
Joondalup is pronounced June-del-up
There Trucks not tractors, you forgot one. the 90mile straight
Excellent Airport @ Albury/Wodonga, with daily flights to Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne, as well trains & busses to Adelaide, Melbourne & Sydney, and many rural areas. The snow resorts are very close too. 100% recommend A/W
At about 3:50 re price in Australia, menu price is what you pay. Not totally true, due to most people pay by card and almost evey business now has a ripoff card surcharge of up to 2%, plus there are often Sunday and public holiday surcharges.
The no shoes thing is usually for the suburbs and coastal areas, outback areas if ur not afraid of being bitten by something. Ur more than likely to find a cr3ature hiding in ur shoes. Plus no one would be wearing a designer outfit and no shoes.
The Emu and Kangaroo was chosen for the Nations emblem because nether can move backwards signifying the nations values.😎😎
AI voice? wrong pronunciation on quite some of the city names
Love the way you have shown our beautiful city of Perth ❤
I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! Perth truly is a gem with so much to offer.
Sorry, as to skiing and snow: what about Hotham (the highest snowline village in Oz?), Falls Creek for powder, Buller for proximity to a city? A bit NSW centric me thinks.
Great points! Australia has some fantastic ski resorts, and you're right-Hotham, Falls Creek, and Buller are definitely worth mentioning. Each state has its unique offerings!
John Batman's name wasn't pronounced like the superhero Bat-man, but Batm'n, the same way you pronounce the military job 'batman' (an orderley or assistant to a senior military officer), similar to 'batsman' in cricket.
That's a really interesting point! It’s fascinating how names can have different pronunciations and meanings based on context. Thanks for sharing!
The Batman in Turkey is also pronounced differently. More like 'Bartmarn', than 'Bat -Man'.
Every city in Australia has great coffee, Melbournians just don't travel enough to realise this.
True! Maybe Melbournians are just too busy sipping their flat whites to hop on a plane and explore other cities!
It’s Melburnian old mate, not Melbournian.
@AmazeJourneys But Melbourne kickstarted the great coffee fad nationally.
Seems this was designed for expats living in Sydney or Melbourne (particularly US expats, going by the AI's accent). Some of the info was interesting & the cityscapes were nice too.
Thanks for your feedback! We aimed to highlight some amazing regional cities that can offer a different vibe from the big metros. Glad you found it interesting!
2:38 is not Melbourne
Perth is crap, don't move here. Please!
Melbourne or Sydney, which place is more worth living?
That's a classic debate! Both cities have their unique charm and lifestyle. It really depends on what you're looking for in a place to live!
@AmazeJourneys As a neutral Brisbanite I'd choose Melbourne. Less pretentious and more down to earth.
Deep Thought had the same reaction as I had, at least these A.J. docs need to get their geography and history correct; it was almost impossible to sail around Cape Horn in westerly direction, sailing east around the Cape of Good Hope is the only feasible course.
Most evil, corrupt country in the world.
It's live (as in I can live here ) NOT liveable (as I can be be alive). Watch that you pronounce the word correctly according to its meaning in the sentence. Your approach is somewhat 'loose' at times. Otherwise a generally good introduction to Melbourne. I love my city of Melbourne where I was born - in the heart of it - and live. In comparison, whereas Melbourne has substance, Sydney is a show off. Melbourne is the book, Sydney is the film. (An ancestor in my family was the town planner for part of Melbourne. Forrest Hill in South Yarra was named after him and he donated his land where Melbourne Boys' Secondary select entry School stands, in South Yarra. A school house is named for him.)
Thank you for your feedback! I appreciate you highlighting the nuances of language and your passion for Melbourne. It sounds like you have a deep connection to the city!
Could be an A. I. issue. But at least it was the only flaw I spotted. Other vlogs are almost unwatchable due to incessant errors and mismatched photos.
The 8 hour day was initiated by stone masons in SOUTH AUSTRALIA.
The 8-hour workday movement in Australia was actually initiated by stonemasons in Melbourne, Victoria, not South Australia. On April 21, 1856, stonemasons working at the University of Melbourne led the charge, successfully securing an 8-hour workday without any pay cuts-a groundbreaking achievement at the time. This victory set the stage for labor rights movements across Australia, eventually influencing other colonies, including South Australia. So, while South Australia adopted the 8-hour day later, the origins of the movement can be traced directly to Victoria’s stonemasons and their historic push for fairer working hours.
You have Dandenong mixed up with The Dandenong Ranges. Nothing quaint in dandenong, it's a multicultural melting pot there
Melbourne is a shithole!😂
