What the guy didn't mention is are their any benefits of using fuel additive on engine that has less than 2k miles.

Can you shed some light on the difference between this and the 'high mileage' version? From what I read, the high mileage version has fuel stabilizer (which I don't need) and it says do not exceed twelve 12oz treatments between oil changes. This product says do not exceed two treatments per oil change. Is the high mileage version weak?

Can we mix both the complete fuel system cleaner, and the high mileage? Or is that much additives in one tank?

i have one comment,,,,,,WOW, i though either my 3rd spark plug was bad or my fuel injectors were bad, although i should probably still replace the plugs, i was in total disbelief that this sht worked, and worked well and fast, i stop at the gas station put this tuff in and almost immediately after driving out of the gas station i could see a complete huge difference. the car practically completely stopped missing, and starting running 95% better. i am impressed. and I'm one of those old guys who has never believed in additives. but life changes, and this stuff probably saved me a pretty penny not having to replace the fuel injectors.

My 1989 Honda Civic DX hatchback got her very first taste of any gasoline additive today at 105,300 miles. My brother recommended Techron so here goes. Hoping for more happy miles ahead.

Best thing for fuel economy is this get a small lightweight vehicle that has a naturally aspirated 4 cylinder engine with a manual transmission and take off slow and coast to stops. Keep it tuned up, keep good quality street tires on it at the proper inflation, don't keep junk in it.

A dirty air filter does not affect gas milage on fuel injected cars. Using the a/c over 40 saves gas because open windows ruin air flow and increase wind resistance. Using gas additives is unnecessary if you use top-tier gasoline.

Fuel cleaners definitely work. Especially on vehicles that randomly set.

Techron High Mileage cleaner also contains corrosion inhibitors which is important if you use E15 or E85.

I thought I would compile all the manufacturer info: Kia recommends one 12 oz bottle of Techron every 7500 miles,. Chevron states the difference between the regular fuel system cleaner and high mileage is the regular should be used every 3000 miles and includes injector cleaners, the high mileage can be used every 1000 miles but includes a fuel stabilizer and a corrosion preventer. The high mileage cleaner can also be used in any gasoline powered lawn or farm equipment, it's great for vehicles that are aren't used in the winter. Chevron also makes a diesel cleaner but never mix the two types. You also don't have to use the entire bottle, it has a screw cap and will last for up to 5 years.
