a “HIP” yoga practice
This 1 hour yoga practice is centered on postures to create space in the hips. I have tightness in my left hip capsule so this practice is something I turn to time and time again to help me unstick my left hip. I hope this practice will help you with your hips too. :)
Start with an easy supine twist, pinwheel arms focusing on rotating the mid spine, cat/cows, hip circles, easy pigeon variations and single leg child poses. Expect some lunges!- lizard lunges, monkey lunges, lunges with a twist and a lateral side bend. There are also some more pigeons, some seated postures, boat pose and table top. I end the practice supine with some more hip stretches - figure 4, optional half lotus, full lotus, and happy baby.
