REAL TALK AMONGST REAL ONES at SEMA Las Vegas
Oil & gas for life.
Thank you for the authenticity talk!! That right there was such an underrated conversation. For someone like me leaving a hard job like pipefitting and plumbing for ford motor company, (literally a work slave), y’all should make a podcast about breaking the chains and not bringing the bad habits from working into your business, and how to control that “freedom” and not spiral the business. Of course discipline is the answer, but for someone who has worked 12 hour days for 10 years, it can feel good to not have that chain around my leg telling me to show up, if that makes sense. I know staying busy is that key but what does that self inspiration look like?
I have considered switching to doing my pre-wash style like that instead of two foam cannon method. May have to test it out 🧐 What general dilution do you guys run in the sprayer? My only hold up is having the control of adjusting dilution if need be.
I tried the Klin Korea Duo after watching you guys are few months ago. It is the BEST rinseless wash towel i have ever used!!! I was very impressed!!!

Glove fingers missing, Fingers looking like you was in the pool for hours!
yoooo. You going in hard. When you still working with one glove gone.😅😅😅😅
I got two of the ryobi sprayers couple weeks ago and so far I like them 😊
That tip you gave out for the replacement of the filter with a sponge on the IK would make a GREAT UA-cam short or Tik Tok video. Definitely will get IK’s attention on that.
Interesting discussion about the IK e Foam Pro 12. I never considered buying a $263 sprayer. You made good observations about how it saves you time. Time is money especially when your a hustling 1-man show. I’ve been waiting for the new IK e Pro 2 handheld sprayer which is shipping in April. I may check that out first and then consider the big brother.
You won't regret the purchase
snap! I'm doing a rinseless this week on my buddy's rig when he gets home from King of the Hammers. Video to come (2/14-ish??) The goal is less than 2 gallons of water consumed. No pressure washer. Clean wheels. Clean jambs. Clean paint. Clean glass.
the most amount of power a single 120v device will pull is 20amps. That's 2400watts. Giving an efficiency buffer, that's 3600watts. No reason for anything bigger than a 4000watt generator as a solo detailer. A 4k generator can run a vacuum and a microwave at the same time. For air, i prefer to have an onboard 12v compressor and tank. IMO the biggest issue with battery powered devices is that they don't have 12v chargers, so you need to run some sort of inverter
💯
I like the way you think!
you’re lucky … dropped the pro 2 IK sprayer at work right on the nozzle within a week of purchase 🫣 have been eyeballing that bigger IK with the compressor though
This battery one is a game changer!
all ready canceled .???? that coffee mug lol 😂😂😂
We have them for sale in our UA-cam store!
Professional detailing has levels, no nice way to say it but not every professional detailer can achieve all the levels. Luke (WAD) once said that “the value of a vehicle changes the effort and cost of a detail”. I agree. Further, the condition of a vehicle will do the same. Time is key to detailing. Always has been, always will be. Reducing time on a detail is vital to profitability. However, I’m talking about significant time … not seconds. Spending 25 minutes per wheel versus 5 minutes per wheel is a huge difference. Tools that DON’T reduce time, methods that DON’T reduce time or products that DON’T reduce time are NOT appropriate for my process. I do NOT use foam cannons, foam sprayers or foam anything. It’s a total waste of time for what I do. I don’t use $500 drying towels, $150 a gallon soaps, $200 a gallon dressings or anything else that cuts in to my bottom line. I’m not the guy who uses all the best of the best because it makes me popular or well respected. I use what works best for my process. 😊😊😊
As you should.
Man I love these videos .. I’m going to a big training in April to be a detailer . My main goal is get to ppf and color ppf installations
Good luck on your training and get that ppf game right!
@ definitely will! I have some connections with a body shop so will be able to get old panels to practice on as well after my training
Yea I’ve busted a glove 😎😅😅🤣
Or two. 😆
Next time tell car supply whare house not to be cheap and give you guys one for a give away 🙏
We are not about the giveaways for views, not our style
@DETAILSofficial it's for your audience not for views 🙏
The guy that says dont be cheap is the guy that doesnt want to buy one.
@Juicefree that's what they tell you playa 🤔
Why not just have a foam cannon for the pre wash?
Uses more water and dilutes product down. The obvious reasons, you already know this juicy
Great way to start the day!!
Get that day started right!
Won’t that get all around rims also when spraying? And need wipe rims from it
Yes, one BIG con to spray application
At 88 MPH, you can go Back to the Future with the generators linked. 😉
😆 🤣 😂
First and ready
Ready
Guys noodle arms here, I use a cheaper (10 bucks? something like that) for spraying the damn Iron Remover wich i hate (the stinker...) it's a viscous like a dressing (maybe a little less) and it does the job great, in my mind its a great use for it, i hate spraying the whole car with iron remover from a normal manual sprayer. So it's another use for you guys if it won't work on dressings! Cheers! Sal please always unbox here with us, it reminds me of me so much when you do it!
Also do you guys like Marolex? I like it a lot (so does amazing Mr. Serrano, the destroyer of interor dirt, the lord of ,,The Sauce" he likes Marolex too) as so happens Marolex is from Poland, my homeland, and we here like spraying with class, check out Marolex Next 3000 3,0L electric sprayer, It's mostly designed for herbicides and stuff, but i bet it would spray whatever you need, and the atomization is supreme in Marolex as you guys know, also durability is IK level if not better. Also comes with a small lance (never saw that in a hand held sprayer before)
Iron remover was going to be our next attempt!
I use strong equipment pro tools vs beginners don’t got time for weak tools
I agree, we need to have the best tools for the job!
On my Mobile detailing minivan which I will put up today for reference if your using pro equipment a 3500 predator will suffice no need for a 10 k watts power lol 😂 shit is crazy and loud ass hell
Sal you don’t believe in box cutters?😱
He was being too nice for the camera 😆
I was trying to save the box
@ He he he😆
It's easier to put the bottle on if you take quick release off.
Gotcha! I thought it looked strange, thank you for the tip
Need an electric paint sprayer like the yellow one I got .. you watch my stuff cmon man 😅
The Solo 260 is the better buy imo. 😊😊😊
We will check it out
If it could connect straight to detail spray bottle would be nice
We will see if we can make that work!

I have been using pump sprayers for a while now because of my Arthritic fingers. This looks like it spits at best. I would like to see a mist, uses less product and more even distribution.
That's what we were hoping for
I would never spray dressing directly on the tires. You spend all this time cleaning the wheels and the car to get get overspray like a mofo. RIP 🙏 🪦
@@BrillianceAutoSpa FSE
@DETAILSofficial thats more work, brother. FSE is great but now we're adding an extra chemical to the detail that we can avoid. I like to use those big 4.5" foam applicators. You spray the dressing on that and quickly run the pad around the tire. It's quick, and saves you from having to use FSE on the wheels and/fenders.
@BrillianceAutoSpa you are right, we have been on a hunt for the fastest, easiest way to apply consistent and even dressing on every type of tire. It seems it's the same issues. The spray is easier for application but also adds more work, on the other hand it's very annoying, sometimes time consuming and a pain bending over and applying by hand especially on tires that don't take the shine well.
Nothing against these, but i love the Solo 360b that's rated from 7pH-14pH, holds up to 1L, and has a stainless ball and a flexible tube.
$14 air/paint gun harbor freight
That seems to be the way most go
@ it’s clean and easily adjusted for thickness also if you need to just spray air before the application you just need to pull the trigger less
@Frankie_Lepe just like the idea of not needing the air compressor or hose
@ I’m sure you’ll be able to find a long straw. I’ll look into it as well. Just picked one up too
I got the same hubcaps on my Corolla
@@Frankie_Lepe 😆
You’ll need a longer draw tube
Yeah, it's pretty short
Great video and tool Sal. That hoodie is 🔥 bro.
Appreciate that brotha!
Thanks my man
Maybe just use for interior polstar
We are going to figure out how to incorporate this somehow 🤔
No green for me !
I feel ya!
I’m imagining that with a QD canister. If it works, definitely a time saver for applying dressings.
We are going to try and make it work
Hope so
I'd be interested to see how it works with a QD, waterless and/or rinseless solution. Might go pick one up tomorrow to give it a try.
Rinseless would work well
lol Sal making old man sounds putting in the battery 😂
I had to make some edits from my hard breathing in the background also!
😂 I feel you guys, I do the same thing
I loved it, I want more Sals unboxing vids pronto guys 🥲
O snap
testing...
Just use gas stop playing I'm not in saving the planet business 💪🏿
The Ecoflow delta pro is 7200 surge watts and 3600 running watts. The new delta pro 3 is 8000 surge 4000 running if these guys can’t manage to detail with that much power something is wrong with them. The delta pro would be great for you guys they are cheap now down to around $1700. Mine has been great for almost 2 years.
We are looking at and will most likely get it, it's good to know someone has seen performance with what seems to be a system along the lines of ours with the unit.
These guys are doing what you said and having all equipment setup when it’s not needed. The Ecoflow works perfect when you do your research and use it properly. These guys are just inefficient. and just don’t have the proper system. They need to focus on a better technique , losing weight so they aren’t tired after detailing for 10minutes. Most these guys using an extractor and steamer when it’s not needed but they bought one because it’s trendy to do so.
My man aint never lie
The real ones only know
That detailers video you saw is he really a detailer or a "UA-cam"Detailer. First he started off as a detailer, then tried to change his channel into a vlog channel. That flopped and now he is just hopping on anything that is hype or tries to hard to promote for brands that reach out to him. Dude is a 🤡
I don't know him personally, should we bring him on the podcast? Pull some receipts?
Power mgmt people 🤦🏻♂️😂👍🏼
