Just had this thermostat for a month.

Thermostat is always five degree higher than the set time.

What about for those of us who work from home?! Is there no way to eliminate the leave/return option. This setup is quite infuriating really. Pressing the up down, the Hold indicator comes on - does not let me manually use my thermostat it's set on its own schedule and seems there's not much I can do about it it's ridiculous.

Just wondering if you could go any faster. I had to listen to the video five or six times and then restart it again. Horrible tutorial horrible.

Anyone know why after my homes power went out and back on the fan started up by itself and now can't be turned off? I have it set to auto and off but it stays on. I've taken out the batteries as well. Need help

Holding down the second button to reset FILT doesn’t do a darned thing. Thanks. Discovered you’ll need to set/press the menu button, THEN hold the stupid button for three seconds to reset FILT.

Currently having problem with this thing. Has a hold at a temp that I've had but furnace not coming on this morning. Tried everything that usually works: taking batteries in and out to reset whole thing, resetting desired temp etc. Still not turning on furnace. This thermastat seems pretty straight forward but hard to troubleshoot. Guess will have to call a tech $$$$$

In the event of a power failure, After the thermostat has been preset to HOLD temperature, will the thermostat Automatically reset to the same hold temperature ??

I had to change the batteries in ours. after putting the new ones in that night the furnace went on about 2 a.m by itself. I did not have it set on any schedule rather we just turned it up and down according to the temp inside. how or what can be done to simply use it manually

Hi : I have a TOP-TECH model number : TT-N- 411 So no body makes that any more . On the wiring behind the thermostat has : From right to left : C G W - y - O - B - Rh - RC OK . The connection to the thermostat on the thermostat is : from R to L is : G - W - Y - & Rh - Rc Only the 3 wires + the last 2 wires has by passed with the Red I had a simple thermo it was working fine , till one night the heat was gone . I call the man who installed it by sears for $$ 7500 . we had it for 6 years very happy , till it was very hot & no heat . I scared , so I turn the gas line off . When I call the man who he has installed , he gave me time for monday . wow my house was very cold . Because of the so called C19 we did not have enough money to fix it right by the right peole . any how , after 3& 1/2 hours them people said it is thermostat . They put it in , they were covering each other so i can not see what they were doing ! They took my simple homedepo thermostat & install theirs . Funny things when they were looking at each other !I said O i forgot to tell u the gas valve is off , i told them before i tell them the valve is closed they gave me the bill for $ 125 . I told them i do not have the heat why should I gave u money , i said u turn the gas valve on ? They went down , then they said wow , see u have heat , give me the money . At my age 70 , i gave them the money & they left . Sears has the worse service. Can u help me about wiring & what to get . Thanks ❤🕯❤

Would not recommend this. There so many settings it does everything but manage the heat. I guess you have to take the 40 hour class to operate it. Worst ever

Mine won't heat above 64. Brrr on cold days... nor below 75 on hot days. Truly a disappointment. Scheduled it, properly according to video and manual. Was hoping for at least 68 in the winter. 75 in the summer was ok. It was over 100 outside....
