Hi, First of all thank you so much for your amazing videos. I do have a question. So i live in Germany and i do have a license A1/A3 and i do have insurence. I will be going to Gran Canaria in 2 days and i was wandering what do i need to do before i can fly. I will take my DJI mini 3 with, but did say on this video that no matter what i need to contact the ministry and that can take up to 5 day is that correct ?

Hello, thank you for the usefull video about flying your drone in Spain. BUT i do have a question, you give an example and then you tap on the clear space. Then there is a popup where it is mentioned that you have to get the approval, just like you say. BUT i have asked somebody from Spain and this person says, if it is not coloured red or orange, then this rule does not apply. I would like to have a clear explanation before i take my drone to Spain. It is very confusing. I am from Belgium and in our app (droneguide) it also is like that. Only if the zone is coloured, you have te follow the acces conditions. So are you really sure this is right?

Guys you do need Liability Insurance as per the new rules. So you have to get the insurance if you are registering or flying drone. The part where I said that you can fly with 20 KG that is only in case if the drone is not equipped with Camera. Thanks to @RuanScholtz who brought this point into my attention. Note: I do not need an insurance policy if I do not intend to perform any work from the air with a drone and/or aircraft model weighing up to 20 kg, such as filming, photography, advertising, surveillance and the like, for compensation or not, for personal or public needs. So, I will only fly a drone and/or an aircraft model weighing up to 20 kg for recreational purposes, for example within the framework of aviation model clubs and activities.
