You NEED to negotiate your law school scholarships. DO IT. Even if you didn't get a scholarship offer at all, ask for a reconsideration! I wanted to share this video of the steps I took to be able to negotiate my offer to a 90% scholarship. I'm so, so thankful for the blessing of being able to go to law school loan free, so I want to make sure others can do it, too. You miss 100% of the chances...

Hello! I just spent my first year dorming at FSU and, in case the video wasn't clear enough, it sucked! At least for me it did. Think carefully about your own decisions, I'm not here to discourage anyone if you're really excited about dorming. I hope this video was informative and helpful. Sub like! Insta: @pamacostaaa

day in the life of a law intern!
Переглядів 9 тис.5 років тому
Hello! I'm interning at a criminal defense firm in Tallahassee, Florida and I'm loving it! It's a part-time internship for Spring 2019 and I go there three times a week. I'm also a student at FSU so this is what a day in my life looks like at the office while still studying and doing homework. Enjoy! insta: @pamela.acosta
Pam hi! I watched your FSU videos years ago when I was deciding to go. Now im graduating FSU this winter and applying for law schools, and your video just showed up in my feed again. Im also latina lol the coincidences. Congratulations!
thank you so much!! im wishing you the BEST in your applications <3
They only count undergrad GPA for law school admissions. They don't factor in GPAs for masters programs.
Can u apply to law school immediately after bachelors?
So will you be attending law school alongside with a full time job? Can you make a video on it?
Congratulations!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉
Yes, please do a vid on your gap year and how you ultimately found the clarity on what you wanted to do. Going through a similar journey…new subbie here 🎉
Congratulations! Could you do a video in-depth explaining why you chose the school you chose? Did you tour all the schools you were accepted to?
Congratulations counselor great vlog
thank you! 1L now lol
Pam, I remember your video about FSU pros and cons. I watched it when I was thinking about transferring colleges. And I’m seeing this video as I prepare to apply to law school as a first-gen student. It feels like we grew up together. Congratulations to you, and wishing you the best during your 1L year. ❤️
AWW omg this is so sweet, I'm first gen too! i really wish you the best in your law school journey, good luck((:
Excited for you! Im about to do the admissions game myself, so always good ro see those who made it through
thank you! good luck to you!!
Thank you and congratulations!🎊
thanks you!!!
For law school its only Undergrad GPA that matters, not master.
correct, and schools will want to see both
@@onlypamcakes I don't think they care about master grades. It's not converted when applying to law school?
@@MrBjorn6 no idea how much weight they put into masters gpa. when you apply, law schools will still ask for masters gpa and transcripts. ive seen people w terrible undergrad gpas and high masters gpa still get in tho so it cant hurt to 'compensate' i guess lol
Do a. Hair touching hair live stream pam please
MagLab is there so internship opportunities is huge. Huge STEM school and slept on.
i like ur makeup!
You're fun to listen to. I subscribed.
Thanks for the content! I will be teaching English in September of Buenos Aires next year through globalwork and travel. I have some questions!!!
Thank u
It so great your video, ❤❤❤
Hello, I've applied for ms mechanical engineering, however I don't really understand the transcript evaluation thing
what is/was your major?
hi! enjoyed can you please make a video on how to apply like what is the process and what are the requirements of student visa.
I am currently getting my AS in Entrepreneurship at Seminole State in Florida, but I would like to get my Bachelor's at FSU and graduate as a Seminole. I'm going to speak with my advisor about my options, but on the off chance that someone in the business realm sees this comment, can anyone vouch for FSU? For context, I am a commercial pilot with interest in the managerial/entrepreneurial industry as a fallback. I intend to enter the airline industry through a private flight school, with which I am currently getting my CFI (certified flight instructor) rating. If anyone has any information aside from what my advisor can provide, I would greatly appreciate it! I grew up as a diehard Seminole fan. I wouldn't want to graduate from any other school unless it were in my best interest.
metros need not be underground. a lot of cities have at grade or elevated metro lines.
im going to fsu in the fall and im a lil scared. i go to art school in miami that is extremely diverse and i love it so much. im scared that fsu is gonna be all straight white republicans
definitely not! so many people from miami go to fsu, youll find your crowd. join clubs and get involved like HLSU <3
Super
Beautiful 😍

Where would you recommend off-campus? This will be my first year so like you said I’m unfamiliar with Tally since I’m from soflo, but would like to know for next year!
I really liked the BLVD ($400-$600), seminole grand is a p BAD neighborhood but its cheap ($400 i think), university village ($400-$600 i think) is okay but mainenance sucks from what ive heard, and ofc anything close to campus is gonna be $600-$1k (copeland, the quantum, the nine, the standard) all these are v nice. i def recommend securing a spot ASAP bc apts close to campus fill up super fast!
@@onlypamcakes thanks!
@@benjamintiradogarcia9167 good luck!!
Loveeee your honesty
The comment about trump supporters is a pro to me
Please if you’re going to teach English don’t end sentences with prepositions. Ex; In the school where I’m going to teach English (at). (At) is a preposition.
teaching a language formally is different to speaking it colloquially , i use slang idc
Thanks

Go Noles!
Good points. I went to fsu for first 2 years but didnt find the academics a priority. Transferred to UF and got a Master in Ed.
Go Gators
I am Indian I love yours video
Parking has been trash since I was there in 04. Just imagine, the lot wasn't there, and the was absolutely ZERO parking on Gaines or even on railroad. I lived by TCC and it was easier just to bus/or ride my bike.
My mean older sister Sophie is a FSU alumni she loved it she studied Nursing I’m a Junior this year at University Of New England I’m studying medical biology and my mean younger sister Miranda is a Freshman at Nazareth College she’s a Math major
Current nole here haha I just now discovered fsu videos on yt and I love this!
aw yay thank you so much!!
Very helpful video, thank you! I love your content gurl! And very relatable because I am also an intern. We are also hiring interns at our company, Consumerchoice. Just send us your resume at internship@consumerchoce.com
According to you which one is better FSU or CSU for MBA? Please tell me...
Keep grinding - when do you sit for exam? What schools are you looking at? T14?
ill be taking it again in october 2021, T14 would be a dream lol im not there yet score wise so im just trying to score as high as i can to see what i can work with and hopefully get some scholarships to negotiate with, good luck to you too!
I am incoming freshman and just got the a dorm in Salley East and I am considering off campus instead. Where did you live off campus that you would reccomend
depending on you budget some nice places are the BLVD, players club, polo club (low-mid $) ; aqua club+seminole grand (lowww $) ; and stadium centre, stadium enclave, 601 copeland (high $) . I would definitely suggest calling + touring ASAP bc places are filling up fast asf! i made another video about dorming on campus, i think its good to make friends but yeahhh salley isnt the best dorm haul so i think considering both is good, just be careful what your contracts say!
