The Shop
Приєднався 3 жов 2021
Hey guys! My name is Rob, and welcome to my channel. I grew up working in my dad's pattern shop, where we made wood patterns for foundry castings. In my high-school years, I took an interest in furniture making, and still enjoy doing it to this day.
After graduating college and getting my degree in Industrial Arts, I went to work for my dad full-time. It was during this time that I got a behind-the-scenes look into manufacturing that most people never see. At the shop, we made wood patterns, assembly fixtures, shipping fixtures, trim jigs and all kinds of components for local industry. We were the ones making the tooling that allowed industries to make their products.
Whether it's woodworking, yard work, home-improvement, or something completely different, I always have a project going. This channel is dedicated to those projects, and sees them through from start to finish. Thanks for your interest in "The Shop," and I hope you enjoy its content!

Melnor MiniMax Turbo Drive Sprinkler: Review
Can you add a light to the machine
Pressure washing is one of the most addictive things I’ve tried! The results are always amazing!
An 8 or even 3 or 5 amp hour battery on this drill REALLY boost the power / torque and speed of this drill
My girl like it
When it is punctured, how do I fix it?
I just bought a 2420 and your review was very thorough and very helpful. Thanks
Pain in the a$$ to change batteries..another thing.why does my Vaper only bleed air?there is a small button on the handle which does nothing
That is FREAKING awesome. This is the best!
I loved my corded Snow Joe, used it flawlessly the almost 4 years we lived in Alaska. Now we're in Iowa where the snow is wetter/heavier. Looking to get this same blower since it's on sale for $699.
It sounds like a cute little chipmunk 🤣
Get under mount, side mount is inferior
Which undermount slides do you prefer?
@ Häfele
Simple and effective. Thanks for the video.
Hey. I just replaced the carburetor on the exact same model. I watched your video and it was very easy. However, about 30 minutes afterwards the leaf blower started doing the exact same thing before I replaced the carburetor. Any tips?
Weird mine has no Velcro
I e got two spiders that don’t extend the legs out of the box to put springs on. It gets stuck. Did you have this trouble?
I only have a 1 and a half wide pole. Will that matter?
Should be labeled “SKILSAW”, rather than “SKIL”.
Best video ever thank you guys so much you made it so easy
Gonzalez Paul Lee Matthew Johnson Daniel
Thank you so much. I didnt realize the on and off switch was under a piece of labeling 😂
The ancient technique of hammering nails! I love it.
why did you use nails and screws? why not just screws?
I have a bunch of 16d nails left over from another project, so I try to use them up whenever I can. Thanks for watching.
In my opinion, it would be worth it if it came with the remote or the foot pad. The sensor alone is not always sensitive enough to activate it. Sometimes have to tap the spider in order for it to jump.
Yeah mine doesn’t catch motion only sound or if you tap the spider
our spirit Halloween actually gave us the remote and footpad
I have the exact same model I inherited from my dad when he passed. I used it for a couple of seasons with no problem. This year, its done exactly what yours did. Thanks very much for the tutorial video and excellent step-by-step instruction. Some repair videos on 'the tube' the instructor will tell you what they're doing, but because they don't have proper video gear, you don't see the actial repairs. I appreciate your skill and effort. I like to repair my own stuff too. You have a new fan!
You're very welcome, and thanks for checking out my channel.
Totally love my minimax turbo! All the settings to modify the spray are exquisite! And it seems they are durable and strong! Love it... 😊
Thank you for the instructions. I bought one, too, and to your video, I was able to put it together.
Looks like shit
Cómo lo hiciste que pintura ? Gracias
I can’t get the battery cover off for some reason
Screw driver
what size screwdriver did you use
Its perfect for haloween
Looks great! Where are you putting that?
Right now, it's downstairs, but who knows where it might end up! Part of our collection for our eventual haunted house!
I just bought one and I think they removed the Velcro
Deontae Isle
your hanging sleeve over that blade during ripping made me cringe
Got same greenworks still kickin since 2018 with original 4.0 battery
Ive been told not to let idle more than a minute without pulling trigger or shutting it off or you will burn up pump .
Love the finish. I really like how efficient you are when drilling ahead of screwing everything together.
That’s a good looking workbench. What type of polyurethane did you use?
Thank you! Minwax satin polyurethane for floors...oil based. You can click the link to watch the full build!
Porque cada vez que escucho esta canción me acuerdo de Terminator 2 😅😅 PELICULÓN...
Me too!
The anti kickback fingers as you called them are a godsend and work very very well
very nice family out but guys .. life vest please..🫡
The drawstring on your hoodie was making me nervous. I'm glad to see it didn't get caught in the saw.
I have one
still gives me goosebumps when someone uses his have to plain wood
Typically, I'll use a push-block for anything under 1.5"
Never seen a jointer like that. Awesome!
Westinghouse and the northern tool brands (power horse) are virtually identical machines made by the same company.
Nice i have one too
Es pintura? O es cal o q es?
Hermosa la prensa, en mis años de estudio hice una, aun la conservo y la amo.... 💕🇨🇱
