Special Guest Rob Hanson discusses Chassis Designing and Scratch Building Tips.
When you get to a new track.. how do you go about determining if your guide is spaced enough? Do you take the car out on the track and measure track surface to the front outer pan?
Double a piece of race sticker waxed paper between spur and pinion, reheat solder and let cool. Perfect mesh girls
Can you do a chassis setup on the C 21 since so many tracks are racing them
Boa noite Qual a borracha pra fazer os donuts para autorama de fenda?
Anybody know why Ron H decided to stop hosting the show?
International Raceway, Inc. ran a single ad in the 60s slot mags, in the October 65 issue of Model Car and track, targeting potential track owners. No real details, but it was based in Orange, California. You could send for a free brochure, so there may be one of those floating around.
This Riff-Raff that Ron mentions, isn't that the vast majority of slot car racers?
Hard to beleive grown men do thos shit
What happened. Not making any more shows?
Great videos can you do a video for jk 21 and or 25 chassis set ups

GREAT PRO INFO!! THANK YOU!!
Goodbye. Definitely wish this was on my podcast player
Dig a bit deeper, Ron. I resurected a Miniature Grand Prix track in 1992 that was the MGP of Wheaton IL from 1960 -1967. I had magazine adds in 1960 about the Miniature Grand National franchine operation that HULL later marketed. I believe H & H fabricated the wooden open bottom track that I had and the late 1960s ;honeycom construction was the downfall of the company. I had both fiberglass wall signs, the outside backlite sing and the banners. I was told that Elgin, IL did have the 'midwest training center for MGP, but I was never there myself. Look closely at the H & H add for the stombecker/orange like track - that is the one i had in Elburn, IL as Ramcat Raceway for over 7 years.
Thank you for remembering Rick Sloan who was a heck of a racer and builder.

I LIKE THE IDEA OF RACING RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX, like your saying Ron that way kids and new adults to racing can have that racing experience , and maybe have that chance of winning, its a must have for all race tracks, and advertise it so people know

The glue that's on the face of the tire how do you remove it? Sandpaper? If you want narrow tires (for drag tires) what would you use to cut the rims? I have a Hudy tire truer Thank you
Yes you can use sandpaper or if there is rubber overhanging you can carefully cut it off along with the glue. To narrow metal wheels you can do that on a lathe or very carefully use a brand new sharp X acto blade.
Thank you
