A Must Visit Off-Road Trail Near Los Angeles - Del Sur Ridge
What was a spontaneous off-roading trip, turned into something amazing. Driving through here at just the right time as the sun sets. It was an easy get away that was pretty close to Los Angeles.
This video showcases what to expect on Del Sur Ridge (6N18).

A "Chill" Drive Through Cleghorn Ridge
Переглядів 44814 днів тому
Throughout this video, I explore certain portions of Cleghorn Ridge. As there wasn't enough time in the day to explore the whole trail, I went through as much as possible, trying to convey the difficulty through video. Let me know what parts you enjoy most!
A Bad Time to Visit Utah
Переглядів 687Місяць тому
This is my first "overlanding" trip after spending multiple days planning this trip. These plans were overrun by monsoons in the area. This video shows a new improvised/on-the-go plan. Nevertheless adventuring through Utah was an unforgettable experience and I cannot wait to return.
Easy Off-Roading Trail - Santiago Peak Trail via North Main Divide Trail
Переглядів 8813 місяці тому
This video will showcase Santiago Peak. There are several ways to get to this summit. In this video, I take the North Main Divide trail to get there. It is an easy way up and even easier through the Indian Truck Trail. This is the highest peak of the Santa Ana mountains and Orange County at about 5700ft. I would recommend this for an easy trail with scenic views. The only difficult part for you...
The Perfect Beginner Off-Roading Trail - San Jacinto Ridge Trail
Переглядів 1,5 тис.4 місяці тому
This was documented to showcase an easy off-roading trail near LA and OC in Riverside County, known as the San Jacinto Ridge Trail. It's about a 2-3 out of 10. Mostly consisting of off-camber medium-sized ruts. There are some yellow post camping sites along the trail, one offers a creek next to it. I highly suggest this trail for a beginner or someone who wants a casual trail to run. Keep in mi...

This trail is located in Big Bear City, CA. It is rated as moderate to difficult. Having 4x4 is essential here and lockers are recommended though not required. Having good ground clearance is mandatory on some parts. The total distance is about 4.5 miles and 2 hours long.
Mud In Big Bear - Holcomb Valley 3N16
Переглядів 5096 місяців тому
This video is about a trip we took to the trail 3N16. It was muddy and full of ruts. The video shows what the terrain is like there at this time of the year as the snowy season comes to an end. Driving through here and enjoying the surrounding areas is what makes trips like this well worth it and motivates me to get out and do more. If you'd like please write any feedback that I can use in futu...
Check Out This Amazing Place - Anza Borrego Desert
Переглядів 4,4 тис.7 місяців тому
This is my first trip to Anza Borrego Desert and it is definitely a wonder to see. There is so much to explore here and it's a highly suggested overlanding spot which you can see why in this video. When you visit here some things to be careful of are rains which can cause erosion pretty quickly especially since a lot of these canyons are sand. So it's best to avoid during rainy days in order to...

Old Gold Mine History - Gold Fever Trail - route 3N16

Taking the Jeep off-road to explore Holcomb Valley, which is where one of Southern California's largest gold rush history is. This video is short though it is a great introduction to the content I am in the process of making for the future. We thoroughly enjoy going on adventures like this and to be able to share it with others to help inspire and motivate is exciting. Thanks for watching! Feel...
Adventuring through California's coastline to Big Sur
Переглядів 19110 місяців тому
Traveling through PCH to reach Big Sur, we come across some obstacles though eventually make it to our destination... sort of. The coastline and surrounding areas were beautiful. We will definitely be paying another visit in the future.
You forgot to disconnect your front sway bar 😮 and jeeps should do all extra credit trails there!! Otherwise your just driving a dirt road 🤔
It might not look like it because of the 37's 😂 Im planning to do a fender chop to get more room for articulation, pretty soon too.
You have a great looking jeep !! Enjoy!!
Great video! I'm glad I found your channel. I've wanted to go on that trail, but don't know where it starts.
Thanks! There's a few different routes to get there. The way I took was North main divide road starting near the Blue Jay Campground. Unfortunately the trail is closed right now due to a recent fire.. there's a few others close by that are nice to go to until this one opens back up
Nice my go to area you should hit up Rowher and Drinkwater flats when you’re there next time
Thanks, those are on the list for sure
Thanks! I will be checking this out soon. You should try 7N23 off off the Ridge Route. Easy trail but great views. Be safe and hope to run into you sometime!
Thanks for your comment! I'll be looking into that route next time I plan on going to that area. You as well, stay safe out there and enjoy!
What shop did you take your jeep for your lift and air system?
Hey, I took it to a local 4wp to install the suspension parts and installed the air compressor set-up myself.
New video with teddyyyyyy👏🏻👏🏻
How many hours did this trail take? Planning to go soon from Northern CA.
This area had a recent fire and so the trails are currently closed in that area. I took the indian truck trail which is currently closed due to the fire. Here is a link for the status of the surrounding trails there. www.fs.usda.gov/detailfull/cleveland/alerts-notices/?cid=stelprdb5340229
Hey cool video. The air compressor under the seat with the manifold is nice. Did you build that or buy it? Who makes it?
Hey man thanks for checking out the video and giving feedback. As for the air compressor, Epic Adventure Outfitters makes a kit for the ARB twin compressor. It was a pretty easy install. All together the cost was pricey but well worth it when you're airing up or even deflating. I use it to deflate all 4 at the same time too.
There truly something special about nature.
New subscriber! Thank you
Thanks for subbing! Hope you enjoy the content
LOVE THE VIDEO,ITS REALLY WELL MADE!!!
fun trip, fun footage. North American monsoon = seasonal change in weather pattern in the southwestern US associated with thunderstorms/rain.
Thanks for the definition!

Drove all the way just to find Simba
Wow love this vedio 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks for stopping by. Im glad you enjoyed it!
weell sharing, catch ya later, 📽
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it 👍
Cool video! Your narration sounds like it's from a funeral home.
Thanks! Also I appreciate the honest opinion⚰️
this is great. I have the same rubicon stock 4xe but in anvil color. I did 'The Squeeze' trail in Big bear and def bottomed out several times. Had ton of anxitery and fear but luckily no body damage. Good job
That's a great color.. 👍 These are pretty capable stock considering the minor scuffs
Damn! For a newbie in a new Jeep you rocked that trail. Props to the lady spotting for first time too. Stock Rubicons are beasts, I kept my 1st one stock and got through sections that dudes in lifted/moded Jeeps were afraid to take ahaha. No doubt mods add capability though & the way to go if you're really going to do adventures like that or more difficult. Good video!
Thanks! They're super capable stock Though now since I have some new mods done I will have to come back and assess the difficulty compared to a stock Rubicon. Thanks!
Holy crap I just found your chanel, great video quality!! I live in Orange County now I want to go there. Thank you!
It's definitely worth the trip! If you have any questions just let me know!
Amazing!
Thank you! Cheers!
Awesome!
Glad you think so!
I have a 2023 trd off road Tacoma all stock everything with terrain tires, will it be able to complete this trail. Do I have to deflate my tires to a certain psi if so how much. I’m new to off roading so any tips and trick for this trail I’ll appreciate it!
Tacomas are pretty capable rigs. Between my own opinion and others reviews of this trail a stock Tacoma could make it through here. The only part that might pose a challenge is the ruts at the peak. If you have differential lockers (front and/or rear) that will make it easier to get through them or using momentum. As for deflating tires, I would suggest deflating slightly at least. This can improve ride quality and give your tires more contact with the road. I wouldn't go lower than 15 PSI on stock wheels. Usually 20-25 is a good range. Just make sure that you have a way to re-inflate before heading back onto paved roads.
For some reason USDA.Gov still reports this trail closed since January 2023 due to a sink hole. Is this filmed recently?
This content was recorded on June 4th of this year. Maybe it is referring to Bee Canyon since San Jacinto Truck Trail leads to Bee Canyon? I did have to make a trip back from which I came because of Bee Canyon being closed. The main interests of the trail were open when I went at least. I ventured only a bit past the Indian Mountain Trail intersection before turning back.
@@Danielmendenhall_ Ok that makes sense then. Looks like it's the gate between Bee canyon and San Jacinto... Thanks!
@@Steemax Have fun out there!
Can anyone confirm it’s open? Thankyou
I have never seen the rock garden closed. That big tree is the entrance. My group was just up there last weekend
Fun trails up in big bear good way to get your feet wet. John bull is another good one out there.
I do plan on making a trip to John Bull and Holcomb Creek. First though I want to put on the new lift + wheels and tires.
@@Danielmendenhall_ right on man all the trails up there are fun. We will be running dishpan, holcomb, gold mountain and jon bull october 19th if ya want a full day of wheeling New lift, wheels and tires 😆 and the addiction begins. Stay safe man
That sounds like quite the itinerary I'll definitely follow up as time goes by. Yes the addiction has set in 🤣 Thank you
Wow!!!silver button coming soonnnnn🎉
Should I try with a stock rav4 hybrid? Water crossing is my only concern.
This is only my opinion.. if it has AWD then you may be good. They did just even out this trail a while ago but there are still some ruts and the water crossing was a bit lower than it appeared. An easier trail with rewarding views throughout is North Main Divide trail to Santiago Peak. Though this one is also suggestive of 4wd or AWD with some decent ground clearance.
@@Danielmendenhall_ it has AWD and stock 8.1” clearance. Thx for the view, it helps to see what the trail looks like!
@@andyh6302 I'm glad you found this useful. I'm planning on making more guides like this while also improving on explanations that way I can give the best possible explanation and idea of what to expect.
What size are the tires?
They're 33 inch tires
@@Danielmendenhall_ do you have skid plates?
@@damiansmith391 just the factory skid plates which includes skid plates for the transfer case, gas tank, EV battery, and under the front bumper.
Great video.
Great Job Daniel!!😊😊
Dude has a feminine way of speaking.
Gold Mountain is always fun. The only time I’ve had issues there was when it was icy. Way to face your fears.
As things progress I plan on coming back here and to the rest of the trails in Big Bear and other areas. I applaud you for making it with the snow.
BRAVO! Been studying this trail. I am a pure stock 2018 JK. As a driver, I have alot of experience. I am learning my Jeeps capabilities. After seeing your vid? Doing this trail for sure!! Look forward to meeting you on a trail!
Best of luck! See you out there 🫡
Great video. Thanks for taking us along. You can unbolt the ends of your front bumper for better approach angles, to let the tires reach the rocks before the bumper. Good video.👍
I'm glad you enjoyed it. Also, thanks for the tip 🙏
Love you Sweethearts! Great video! 😘
Glad you enjoyed!
Great video.
Glad you enjoyed it
Anza Borrego / Salton Sea is a very interesting place! Volcanic mud pods, East Jesus, Slab City & Salvation Mountain are some really cool sights to see out there.
I've only seen most of those places through video. Definitely wanting to go explore them in person one day though. Thanks for sharing
Good video man! Great scenery and rig. Your dog looks like it's having a lot of fun there. I fairly recently went to Gobblers Knob Spur A which may have been the trail you were on. I recall it had some great views like 9:04 in your video and being glad there was no snow on the ground so I didn't slide off. If you had chains on, I think you could have busted through that section but smart not to chance it. Curious how you got the camera to track you while you were talking at the end?
Hey! I hope all is well with you I do believe I was on that trail you mentioned for a while. The views were absolutely amazing. Maybe I could have went through there and maybe future me would be able to but for now I played it safe. The camera I was using has an auto track feature which is how I was able to
that opening drone shot was SICK! looked legit straight out of a movie.
It’s me by the way Eric Delrosario your co-worker
Nice work brotha!! The video, music and what little footage on the drone was good!! Love the information definitely informative for people new to this like me lol
