Rob looks like a big bully on the lanes😂😂😂
This is 1 amazing video . I just wish you showed all releases in slow motion. Thanks
Great lesson thank you. What is the best way to adjust your ball speed as you mentioned? Arm swing? start ball higher lower? Foot speed?
What board are you standing on to create that angle? Great video
Thank you for this video. i don't think I have ever heard tilt being associated with which finger the ball rolls off of. It makes sense. I'm looking forward to playing with that during my next practice session.
😍 best explaination on release
My favorite bowler ever. After the hip problem I thought we'd never see ya. You my friend are an inspiration and thank you for the time you give us.
I really appreciate your putting this video together. I’ve been totally away from bowling for about 15 years. Recently a friend talked me into joining him on a league team. I’m so rusty. There’s so much I’ve forgotten and the game has also changed a bit since I bowled more frequently years ago. Balls are much better, inserts seem to be of better quality, and of course UA-cam videos like yours make a HUGE difference! I can’t wait to practice this lesson out on the lanes soon. Thanks again!!!!
Next to Steve Hoskins you are my all time favorite bowler, it's great to see you rip the lanes in style. Welcome back Bobby! Welcome back!
I have envy your extreme envy and have the envy pearl and the black widow ghost would that fit in my arsenal or the effect asking for opinions
Two questions here is that your wife or just a friend. And are your leagues mainly on house shots
So you're telling us your not snapping just relax the wrist while the ball leaves the hand?
This was a great video even though i don't understand the pin numbers but loved seeing you use the Hmat for spares as well in considering this ball big time
Robert do you throw 15 or 16 pounds? If you switched from one to another how long ago?
299 next to Bob! amazing!
It is a credit to Bob’s tenacity, but he almost always is gearing to the 1-3 pocket to getting a strike. As many bowlers find out eventually that the 1-3 pocket has many angles to strike on a given lane pattern. Repeating that line on consistent basis is key.
Thanks for being so down to earth.
I hope one day I can meet Robert Smith.
Can you please do a review on the original hazmat bowling ball and then compare?
Man, you seem like such a chill guy to bowl with. I’d have so much fun bowling with/against you.
One Encore has been one of the best ball I’ve gotten since I started bowling again.
Thanks, I really appreciated the detailed explanation, it helped me understand and bowl much better.
position A of the mass bias (where the mass bias is at the thumbhole) flips and continuous to arc and the opposite happens when the mass bias is at position D (where the mass bias is at the positive axis vertical line) which just flips and stops. A - strongest arcing motion and flares past the thumbhole on short oil patterns. drilling: 30x 3.75"x55 or 60 (where the MB is at the center of grip line and at the thumb) D - weakest arc and more of an angular motion, stops flaring, flips and then goes straight. best for flat long patterns, closed angles and rpm dominant bowlers or a combination of the three. drilling: 70x5"x20 stronger mass bias (strong asym) will flare wildly when the mass bias is at position A (above the thumb or on the thumb at the vertical line of the center of grip) and, released by a bowler with high rpms. Symmetrical bowling balls with a mass bias (0.00 differential) near the thumb as presented here in the video, introduces mass bias 6.75" from the pin below the Center of Gravity. making the thumbhole a balance hole. the deeper your thumbhole is, the stronger it will react. according to Mo, if you want a sym to act like an asym, drill +2" deeper with a 1/4" smaller bit than your thumb slug essentially removing more mass off your core and turning it into a an asym which is why it caused your track on your sym to roll over the thumb. your asym ball has the MB at position B (typical drilling patterns of 4"x4"x2") and above your thumb which maintained it's asymmetry and the increased RPMs caused it to stop flaring and start flipping once it touches dry because the drilling had increased the RG by placing it above your fingers and far from your PAP. placing the pin above your fingers increases RG numbers while placing the pin closer to the Center of Grip lowers RG numbers making it flare less. this is the reason why pin down balls react less on the dry and then arc smoothly into the pocket.
Was just watching your 2000 US open victory. Never gets old does it?
Do you remember Town and Country lanes in San Diego CA
Wow! This was the best spare shooting teaching I've seen.
Front, and rear sights on a gun.....And the music is groovy, lol
You've been my hero since you first came across bowling. Nice to meet you
Yo, what kind of pin action was that?
Didn't know you had a channel! You're my favorite bowler. Always an inspiration. :)
Great ball view! This should complement my effect.
Man you've REALLY toned down the speed on your 10 pin shots!! You're only rolling it 28 miles an hour instead of 30😂😂😂
Same old Maximum Bob. Great shooting. Who are your partners?
Hey Robert great video, keep on rolling. I asked some questions on your last first video and it was wiped off, Im not sure why if it was you or what happened? In practice I see you stretching and squatting uncomfortable aches and pains I know all of those moves. How many games do you roll per week now? Honor score already you make it look easy.
If u want to see him I will tell
Thought you had the 300. lol Great seeing you still have it. Also, the young gentleman in burgundy shirt is fun to watch also. He slings that ball at the gutter like it's nothing. Total trust.
Hey Robert . When was the last time you bowled Vito
24 sir
Guys never threw women's colored bowling balls back in the 80s and 90s. They were embarresed to do so. One color guys. One color
Mr.ロバートスミスに憧れます。フォームもパワーも素晴らしいですね❗️
Hey Robert, Can you do more tutorial videos? Your release one is the best one I've seen and has helped me tremendously. 🙏❤️
what ball were you using? where you trying to slow your speed down? looks like the wife can hold her own out there.
Can't wait to see you back in Greeley and hear some more of them old tour stories. First one of on me my friend.
I thought as well as you did that having the mb center or left of mb would be less hooking. But man Robert I think it’s early
That's if you have a spare ball with no rotation.
Can know why pro bowlers review the new balls when demonstrate why must according to your styles of throw not for amateur or begginers...?
Maximum Bob = Rev Beast 😂
Worked on this, today. Effortless power. Whoa! 😮
Thank you so much Robert. Very good...
Awesome video ... The yo yo release is very effective and helpful especially old guys like me who want to stay in the game .
Are you still doing your heavy pins
