My favorite PJ is sweet roses. She is the only PJ doll that I do have. But I have always loved her. And I would always fluff up her dress like to make it like a rose and she’s like inside the rose. But there are a few other PJs that I would like to get one day I really would like a dream date PJ, the Malibu, PJ and the fashion photo PJ. But really they’re all amazing

Definitely my most favorite 90s you listed was totally hair Barbie. I have the blonde one, the brunette and the Ken ones. You didn’t have those two. I had a brunette one as a kid and she with mmy absolute favorite Barbie, because I could play with her for hours and she why is it so fun to play with her long hair. The only thing I didn’t like was the dress was so short if you were a person and you happen to bend over you’re gonna show everybody your butt. Lol.

My sister in law was only allowed to have Skipper. I had Skooter ( loved her!) and Tutti. I was allowed to play with Barbie and Ken passed down from a relative. my first all my own Barbie was PJ.

I got three wrong

I have the same story as yours , it was forbidden for boys to even ask for a Barbie doll , and Barbie in my childhood were the top seller at all toys stores , and even though the society and people didn’t allow boys to play with , we were obliged as kids to play with toys that we don’t like just to please out parents . I hate everything about my childhood. Thank you for the video it was very nostalgic and very sweet of you guys to speak out loud of everything what we as kids went through ❤

Forgot to add I don’t mind the idea of “rare find” dolls, it’s sort of fun and gets people out of the house, but I do think maybe there should be a few more dolls produced. (Another video said there are only 2 per store??) And of course resellers are a problem. But they’re a problem in general 😡

I was allowed barbies until grade 2 then the all got thrown out. I’ve now made up for it. Love the M2M bodies and working on making my own fashions to replicate dolls I had or wanted.

The Barbie Birthstone Beauties series of 12 dolls released in 2007 and designed by Bill Greening are my favourite Steffi face releases followed by Barbie Life in the Dreamhouse Midge releases - so cute!
