Tour of Horror Movie Homes in LA
Back to our old stomping grounds in LA for Halloween to visit some of the spookiest Horror Houses on a DIY Horror House tour!
Who are Katie & Andrew?
Katie grew up in a small town on the coast of Washington State (think Twilight country), and Andrew grew up in San Diego, CA. We met when we were both interns working at Disneyland and have been inseparable ever since.
After getting married in 2015 we decided we wanted to dedicate our lives to adventure and fun!
We have traveled to 31 states, 9 countries (so far), and have visited Disney theme parks probably over 500 times in the last 12 years. We are always looking for the next venture, because as we like to say, "you can make even the simplest things like going to the grocery store fun."
When we are not filming or traveling you can probably find us making pancakes or traversing whatever city we are in to see all of the local movie/tv filming locations in person!

8:13 When you’re making lemonade from berries from scratch you don’t want seeds and such in the finished drink, the strainer will prevent that. The funnel is to make sure everything ends up in the bottle without making a mess.

If you hade taken the train up north about 80 miles (about an hour, 1,5 by car) you would have come to the original IKEA place Älmhult. Which has an IKEA museum which is situated in the first ever IKEA store.

Nice to see tourist videos outside Copenhagen, I wouldn't call those small cities in Denmark though, Køge is the 18th and Roskilde is the 10th biggest city in Denmark. It would be cool to see a similar video with going around some cities in Jutland and Funen (apparently what Jylland and Fyn is called in English)

Everytime I see the 'welcome to aberdeen' sign with 'come as you are' I think of Kurt spinning in his grave and this lyric taken out of context. I'd like to see a talented signmaker replace it either with an additional panel in the same script, that says 'Doused in blood, Soaked in bleach' or maybe replaced with a similar panel with another lyric - simply 'Rape Me'.

i´m so happy you had an amazing time in Tivoli Gardens. it is a beautiful place and they have halloween and christmas which is absolutely magical. I live about 15 minutes from there and go all the time, we can purchase different tiers of yearly passes and we have two, one for me with included wristband for one person unlimited rides and then we have a card that allow us to bring in four friends and four children aged 3-7 on the card + 25% discount on the wrist bands for the rides. I go for several concerts every year "Fredags Rock" which host great artists, both Danish but also other artists from around the world. Again, i am happy that you had a magical time there and yes, we are also addicted to our phones but when we go out, we spend time with our family/friends and enjoy the sights and surroundings :)

Normally we call Rumkugler the "gulvopfej" (lit. floorsweep) of the bakeries. It is a bunch of cakes and pastries that are close to being not able to be sold, just mashed together with some rum essence. They're dense AF, but so good

Regarding cameras/phones - as a dane I believe people should ask themselves two questions: "Am I or others really ever going to look at all that footage again?" and "Is obtaining this footage worth it as opposed to enjoying the experience to the fullest in the moment?". I think most danes would say no to the latter and choose the full experience and that's why you'll see a lot fewer cameras here than in many other countries. We might take a few pictures to show the overall ambience or something truly special but that's about it. Of course, if you're making content it's an entirely different story. Glad to see you had fun. 😄👍

About romkugler, theres varies ways people make those. But when I was at a bakery once and helped making those. It was by taking the older weinerbread that hadn't been sold the day before and jam and cream was removed, then it was put into a mixer and rum essence was added (no alcohol) I think one more thing was added but I can't remember. Maybe some suger to make it stick together. Then roll the into small balls and add sprinkles

the cream on top of ice in denmark is often made of 38% buttermilk that has been wiped. but alot of places also mixe it up with milk I think, so the amount buttery taste can differ. personally i prefere the pure buttermilk wipped. if you wont good quality ice in denmark i would recommend "Beier" they make there ice cream them self and you can mustly just ask if you can have a taste test before deciding wich ice you wonna buy, its also a good way to test if it got crystals in it (could happen now and then)
