It's kind of interesting how the double time patch effects some of the spells. Seems like it's the reason why Ichirin's opening spell and Shou's final spawned bullets on only half of the screen. It also made the lasers in Shou's penultimate way more forgiving, though the other patches seem to pick up the slack there.
