Yeah I was really really disappointed that Trump didn't stand behind him , because of Trump distancing himself gives the lefts claims more credibility!! Instead he should have said that freedom of speech is so important and comics are the ones who should never have to be censored or take anything said as truth. Maybe it wasn't a funny joke but we shouldn't be trying to cancel a comedian for telling jokes and of course fake news is dishonest journalism so I would take what they report with a grain of salt. Trump should have also turned it around and said that this is an example of how the left is going to censor speech and bully you for telling jokes and essentially ruining your career

If people got mad at Hinchliffe for his comedy show at a comedy show, I’m with him. If they get mad because his remarks at the same venue that pro Nazi rallies were held in 1941 remind them of that rally, I get it. Trump is going to be POTUS again.
